Port forwarding did not work for me. The only way I could get the game to load was to use my phone as a Hotspot. Today I finally fixed my connection issue by using port triggering instead of port forwarding. I can now play MW without having to use my phone. Hope this helps for those who are still having connection problems.

When I start the game I go to the network info and it shows I'm using port 3074 and NAT is open. When I was using my phone and tethering my PC to it, it would show I was using port 3074 and NAT was moderate, but now that I'm using port triggering it shows my NAT is open. The only thing I did was put the port numbers in on my router, UPNP and NAT is still enabled, I never touched those 2 settings.

For PC users the easiest way is to go into "update and security", click "windows security", click "firewall and network protection", click "advanced settings" then click "Inbound rules", top right corner, then right click "Call of Duty HQ", click "properties", then in the General tab click "Allow if the connection" then click "apply". No app or complicated router configuration

I have done all this and I still cannot find a match on my PC (Steam)
I have tried opening all these ports, enabling/disabling UPnP, changing to Google's DNS, restarting game and pc several times but nothing works! It shows NAT Type "Open" in game, which is even more confusing.
I'm using the same Ethernet cable and same network as on my PS5, in which I can play. I would really appreciate it if anyone could help me sort this out, I just built a PC and would love to play Warzone :(
PS: I have one piece of the powerline adapter connected to the Internet modem, and the other piece on my wall socket, which I use an Ethernet cable to connect into the PC (tried using the powerline network IP for the ports as well as my PC's IP)

Usually helps you connect to/host lobbies in specific scenarios. Some people have not been able to join eachother (in all COD games) if their NAT is closed on both sides. Limited, of course, limits the lobbies you can be in AFAIK, and open means you can be in almost all lobbies.

I just changed ISP and found out I was also on CGNAT (Carrier-grade NAT in aus) all you have to do to fix it, is ring your isp and op out of cgnat and request a public ip because "you need remote access to work from home, access remote security cam's or just need to host servers and open ports. They switched me over in 5 mins, just had to reboot the router and it was done. Don't know where you're in the world but it worked for me in AUS.
