I got scammed by a PayPal scam in 2022. They got me for almost $30,000. I did manage to get $13,000 back. These people ruin people's lives, and I was totally devastated by this. I love seeing you nail these guys. Thank you for what you do.

Pierogi, you shutdown a call number and you were not even here. I had a scammer call me and I called them back several times just to tie up their line what I was listening to one of your shows in the background. So I had this bright idea, I would call them repeatedly and just hold the phone up next to the speaker while you were doing your packing on the computer. It took about forty times of calling them before they disconnected that number, but I did tie up at least 2 hours of their time. Thank you for your help, and all your hard work!

I would like to see pierogi and those guys being able to do that but they’re gonna have to set up a debit card or something like that on a separate bank account where if they try to scam back on him I only have like say maybe 35 $40 in the account that way they can’t try to rip them off at the restaurant, but that would be neat. I work at a law enforcement agency. The information I've learned from you guys has helped so much. The other day I was able to stop a citizen who was on his way to buy gift cards because of a jury duty scammer. Felt so good! I also use what I've learned to educate others on how their operations work.
There should be a $100 limit for ANY gift cards.

I have never worked retail or grocery stores, but maybe any store that sells gift cards could train employee's to speak up and question large sales of gift cards. That cashier or employee might be the last line of defence before a victim buys the gift cards and sends the codes.

The state where these call centres are located is ruled by a criminal element and she would never take action against these people. I was scammed too. Reported to FTC, my bank, and police in the countries my scammer claims to be in. I have his phone number and he was apparently approached by police but no arrest yet. He told me he was working on a team of scammers.

Ive had my software stolen right off my pc when i was using it. It all starts with a call or email.
Everyone at Scammer payback work really well together as well as with everyone you colab with. The energy in the videos as well as the jokes are great , i just hate seeing people get hurt because someone else's willingness to do things like this.

The grandma scam got $4000 off of my mom, and if I hadn’t stopped her, they would have gotten another $2000 the next day. $1000 gift cards from Target need to be outlawed, and I no longer shop there because AARP made them aware of the situation. Someone tried to scam me though email stating I owed $1,300 for crypto through PayPal. I played along, and when he asked me to go Target, I started playing one of your rants into the phone!😄 Didn’t take long for him to hangup! Wonderful; thanks for what you do and for your vocals to share with these creeps.

Email scams are becoming very sophisticated. Here in the UK, a popular one is that you receive a message 'confirming your purchase' on eBay for some expensive item you didn't order. The idea is that you panic and contact them back with your log-in and payment details. There is a similar one where you get a message saying you've shipped a parcel with DHL or whatever, to make you think someone is using your stolen card details. Again you are supposed to panic and call them to provide the details they need to steal your money. There are many, many more like this.

How can you be scammed several times?
To clarify, I had my business account at Bank of America.. so a few years back before I knew about skimmer devices I used my card at the gas station, paid at the pump and they took every penny out of my account. Well the rules state you have to have a police report in order for the bank to fix it , but to get a police report you need the camera footage so they know you're not lying. Well I went back to the gas station they said the cameras were down, I went to the surrounding businesses and the pump I happened to use no one had the angle, so no footage, no report, no help.. so I lost it all. Nothing I can do. Then I went to a state website like a legitimate state of CT site. To get a business loan to save my business, well Im still unsure how this happened but this loan company got access to my new Wells Fargo account and they took more. It's being investigated. But wait there's more, then I never received any stimulus, not 1 because someone took a first time home buyers loan out in my name. So the IRS explained that they were keeping all my stimulus money to pay back that loan. Which I never took out. So during COVID I lost my business and money, twice, couldn't get financial help because I file as a self employed so a 99 and my stimulus paid back a loan I never took out . To top it off I had to stop working to suddenly take care of my blind mom. So ya. I'd say I was fucking scammed. None were of my fault but I literally couldn't fix it.

I'm a police officer and I also work at Walgreens. and I saw a staff in Walmart scamming an old lady, she sold a tv which was to sell for $799 but she sold it for $4693 and I noticed this because of your videos it helped me understand why people do these things all for "Money" Thank you so much Pierogi for understanding this helps the community so much by all your work and efforts and, make people realize what the have done and change.

I get at least 3 to 4 scam calls a day . Luckily my family and I know this is BS , but for all the people who are targeted and are taken advantage of, I say Thank you ! Thank you for all the amazing work you do . People are struggling with trying to pay rent , buy groceries , and take care of their children. So what your doing is awesome
We receive many phone calls from the Kentucky area of the USA where many Indians live. They always tell me that my mastercard has been hacked and someone has helped themselves to MY MONEY. I am amused. I do not have a mastercard at all. Never ever took out one. I always behave very calmly and tell the caller to let the thief now that they can take as much money as they want to,. They do not know what to say after that. The phone goes silent for a moment then they ask how much is able to be accessed on my card. I teel them they can take all that is on the card. After another moment they hang up. Every 3 months here in Brisbane QLD we get a series of spam calls. I report the local numbers on which they call so that our phone number suppliers can cancel this number. Their Indian voices are so easy to pick even when they use a pretend British sounding name.

I just happened to watch this. When I was scammed, I had been sick, with covid, and thought I had lost my credit card. I was told my credit card just made a purchase for 5k.for child porn and they would reverse that money by this special procedure. Bottom line, I went into " freeze" mode, meaning the amygdala part of the brain freezes, complete panic. I was told they were in Contact with my police, and helping me catch the person who had used my cc card to buy child porn. I believed them. Then as I went out to the car, I was so hot, due to 96 degree heat, my thirst, took me out of the Fear. I turned off phone and was on my way home from buying the 500 gift cards. Then I
thought, good grief, the guy is calling me back? they are yelling at me? Duh! I was being scammed. Thank you for putting this out there. Hope someone like me reads this. If they have an accent, with an American name, like Wayne, first clue 😮

Thank you for everything that you guys do. In Australia I was getting scam calls twice daily about 2 years ago. Now I can say I haven't had a call for nearly two months. People power is working to rid us of the scammer plague infesting this world. Thank you again mate.

Every 4th or 5th person in the world is indian and 90% are scemmer
There’s a RUclipsr that does UK and stuff. What didn’t click for me is the differences between America and UK. After watching the videos I noticed that in the UK because of proximity to Europe - anyone with an accent isn’t really second guessed as much. Like these scammers were calling French and Romanian people and saying “we can only do this in English” which sucks a lot.

In all seriousness, a campaign or some sort advertisement to explain that any business asking for a gift card is a scam would save a lot of people. Maybe some law firms would take it on? I know it’s a large project, but it’s a start.
