I've told my 75 year old friend if she gets any calls from any company claiming anything to just say "hey, do you know Perogi?". I told her they'll probably hang right up if they are a scammer.
Our government should really do something about this. Too many people, especially elderly are becoming victims.

I had a scammer threaten to kill me and my wife a few weeks ago when I called them out on their bs, which was a little scary because they somehow had my real name and address. These guys are miserable, soulless, garbage human beings, beyond any sort of redemption. Videos like these make me smile!

My friend said she received a random call and her display said the call was from New York. When she answered and the recording stated that there was a random charge on her CC, she knew something was up. She stated that she partially opened a PP account, but she decided against it. She told me about it and told her that it was a scam call. I told her that Pay Pal doesn't have any residency in NY. Courtesy of Perogi and the SP team, I was able to inform her on what types of calls to look out for and to inform her mother as well. Thanks, Perogi, for all of your advice and information

I am of Indian descent and know that they are idle threats as like you said you are getting under their skin. Keep doing what you are doing. I would recommend to all your subscribers to speak to everyone they know specially the elderly on the different scams and how not to fall victim to these scumbags.

Scammers are full of the dumbest questions I've noticed. You're literally reading out some email you received, and the guy asks if the (supposed) victim is in front of a device.
If they kill me, well, they’ll make me a martyr. Another scammers nightmare.

But i have to say watching you pissing off these guys and making them so miserable makes me feel so good. Hope you keep doing the good work and bring down these guys. Thank you. Thankfully, have never been scammed, but have been 'approached' numerous times. The trouble is they virtually are always Indian people, who can say some ridiculous things like the police are on their way because of not paying enough tax. It's really sad how these scumbags do what they do, rip the elderly people off. I am a substance abuse counselor and one of my patients always receives calls from these people and I asked them if they knew they were being scammed and have they lost anything, they said no but the callers are abusive. Thank you for everything you do. I told my patient to watch you.
I feel bad for older people who are not tech savvy. I’ve warned my mom of these scammers. She’s now taken to not answering ANY calls that she doesn’t know to save herself because I warned her once they know a phone number is active they’ll keep calling from different numbers to try and scam.
I just told my grandparents to ignore any Indian accented tech center (really any call) calls.

Someone else who does alot of good is Boda Scambaits. I know that their are alot of people that do scam baiting content and that is good. We need to talk to everyone our friends and family and especially our elderly people, and show them these videos and explain how the scams work. I thank you for these videos. My father was just scammed out of $19,000. He lives in Florida. I live in CA. The addresses of the packages was an hour from me - my husband went but was unable to intercept the second package. We had my dad recover one package from the UPS store before it was sent out. They convinced him that he would get in trouble with the FBI for stealing the money from them (McAfee). My poor father took out his life savings thinking he was doing the right thing. Anyway, local PD did not give a hoot and wouldn’t do anything. I had my dad make a report with his local PD, the CA local PD and the FBI. I know he won’t get his money back- but can I give you the addresses to add to your information?
I thank you so much for all you do, if it weren’t for your videos I wouldn’t have known he was being scammed and wouldn’t have been able to convince him to get back to the UPS store immediately to retrieve the second package. ❤

And you are right, I have friends in my age group that would not even think to use 'btw' and other such colloquiums, but my laptop has a chiclet keyboard and it's not great for typing on, particularly when you learned on a Royal upright from the 1940s. I cant express how much I love these videos!!! We took over my fathers computer business, I knew scammers were bad.... but it was a shock to experience it first hand. By the time we see the victims, its already happened. Their money is gone. Theres nothing we can do but clean their computers and help them change their passwords, install software to help prevent it. Its every day. We try so hard to teach people what not to do and how to protect themselves but some people just don't understand and will get hit over and over. Its heartbreaking. Thanks for what you do!!

These scammers usually linked up with his relatives, that's why scammers often left unscathed as the cartel is way too big for the police to do anything. The ones arrested are purely for PR purpose.

Though people higher up the chain almost certainly will have connections to the kind of organized crime groups that can and do kill people. It is probably much less dangerous to be an American in the US doing this than it would be for a local in India or wherever the offended scammer in question is.

@Rob I have to wonder how interested Indian Police are with foreigners being stripped of their entire life savings. Possibly since it is so rampant, they are getting their 10% ust like the big guy does?
The governments know their people realistically have no other economic opportunities and so they allow it as long as it affects countries that took advantage of them and screwed things up for them in the past. People are talking about getting scammed out of $19,000 in this thread. The same amount would be more than enough to pay for a hit there.

You are having an effect. When I received a scam call from a debt reduction service I repeatedly asked them how much debt I had. After they danced around the question a few times I asked how could they help me if they did not know the amount of my debt. Eventually someone in the background asked "is it Perogi"?
