The new and improved Warrior PEKEV® Skinny Fit Lite jeans by Resurgence Gear now have 80% PEKEV® Lite coverage, come with top-of-the-line CE approved D3O® Ghost armour and are CE certified. PEKEV® Lite is a revolutionary fabric that’s twice as strong as the best known aramid fibre without adding as much bulk, giving these jeans a comfortable but reassuring fit. The D3O® Ghost armour that comes included in the knees and hips is incredibly thin at 5mm, giving you breathable and flexible impact protection with an ultra-low profile virtually invisible from the outside. Really rate that every product I've considered purchasing has a video review! Really helpful and definitely makes me more than happy to shop with you guys!
Would be good to see the inside of the jeans for reference of linings length and make up, similar across the other jeans you've reviewed. Ideally was after a single layer but the price of these with armour made them too tempting... Have bought the BSMC naked and also the Resurgence Warriors so hopefully I can make a decision between the two without too much head scratching! Would love the excuse to spend the extra on the Cafe Racers though, love selvedge denim.

I was close to buying the BSMC single layered armoured jean, however at £240, that’s £100 more than their non armoured jean I declined. Why. Firstly as I was in the shop I wasn’t permitted to apply the 15% discount. That’s on online orders only. Secondly, I couldn’t really see why there was such a price disparity between the armoured and non armoured. I was told the armoured were sent away to be tested (awarded an AA rating) which is an expensive process . The materials used in the non armoured jean are exactly the same as the armoured but haven’t been sent away to be tested. . I understand ghost pads are going to add another £50 to the cost but £240 was just a bit to much for me without any discount from the shop assistant. I ended up hopping on my bike to Urban Rider and walking out with a pair of these which I’m very happy with.
Been riding in these jeans now for around 4,000 miles. Great jeans, very comfortable, slightly stretchy and coming with D3O ghost armour means they are a great deal.

After what seemed like hours of research into looking for a single layered jean I ended up with these. Why? Well, they are very importantly extremely comfortable so I can concentrate on the task in hand(s) There are so many positives about these jeans… AA rated, D3O ghost inc and of course the price! The jury is out to see how warm I get riding in them as our English summer hasn’t really started! Thank you Isabella for your expert help in the shop helping me choose this jean.

@@UrbanRiderlondon These jeans are working so well Iza. I’ve been riding throughScotland in both hot and cold weather and these jeans are moderating my leg temp a treat.
I've decided to take the plunge and have ordered a black pair, will see how they are when they arrive, hopefully they'll be a good fit.

I’ve just bought a pair from UR having watched carefully the reviews for both the Warrior and the Cafe Racer. Whilst I normally go for a Selvedge jean off the bike the priority was comfort on the bike.
Absolutely delighted with my choice. Really look great and very jean like despite the fact they are quite elastic which makes them very comfortable to wear.
I had thought I’d only use the D30 armour on longer days but in reality you barely notice it’s there so it will stay in place.
So impressed by Resurgence. My next purchase will be their N1 jacket.

These seem like good value. Not as heavy as the others. Andrew, the New Wave single layer jeans are NOT stiff. They are just like wearing a pair of 501s. Good review, nonetheless.
Are they high or low rise? this never gets a mention in motorcycle trousers reviews, it would be handy to know that, perhaps you should consider giving that a mention.

Hi Duncan - machine wash by the label instructions yes. Refrain from washing them too much. There will likely be some dye bleed from both wear and washing
I own these warrior skinny fit jeans already and I'm looking to get another pair of jeans from resurgence gear but in all black. Its between the cafe racer and the new city chino. Website says they're both slim fit. I'm hoping they are not as tight as the warrior. Is this correct? From photos I can't really tell if they're any looser fitting.

which would you say is stretchier? these or the knox brighton jeans? and which would be better for hot summer riding?
These are probably stretchier - both great for summer riding
how does the fit of the warrior skinny jeans compare to the cafe racer? I own the warrior and I couldnt possibly go any tighter
It's the same fit, but the Warrior feels lighter and stretchier
