the only crime this game committed was not having more levels and forgetting to include angel
Rpg Gamer I thought the amount of levels was good but it would've been nice if they included Angel
Nice review. I like this game although it feels a little clunky sometimes, but there's plenty to do and a good amount of action. As stated in the review, gamers without any history with the Buffy universe won't get the same experience as those who enjoyed the show.
Where can I purchase this game? It's so expensive online. :c
Well, Angel isn’t mentioned, or in it, for that matter, because it’s season 5. Angel is kind of off helping the helpless in L.A., so he doesn’t need to be. Although, if you want a badass Buffy game with Angel, the original Xbox exclusive Buffy game is superb. It’s the magnum opus of the Buffy game franchise. It’s cohesive to the story and the combat is so fluid for a licensed game. Chaos Bleeds was alright, there were great ideas not executed as well as I’d like. The versatility-from the plethora of characters to play to the the weapon choices-is definitely a silver lining. I remember spending hours making my cousin compete with me in the domination and survival co-op mode. I’m happy we got two great Buffy games for consoles.
Aye. Plus, Xbox Buffy actually has Allison Hannigan voicing Willow in it too!

The first game on the Xbox was so much better it was the perfect buffy game.
Chaos bleeds made it feel like everyone were acrobatic and also slayer power.
considering in the show they all need to work together without buffy to kill a vampire.

@@oiskinheadpeter6863 The first game played infinitely better, was well crafted, had better level design, better visuals and tighter controls. The engine, known as the Slayer Engine, was even still being used up until 2015 in other games because of how solid and well made it was. You're wrong.

Your voice is pretty quiet, and the mic doesn't do a good job of making it clearer.
Does Riley appear in this game? Or does it take place after his very sad departer from the show?
LordCrump Fan even though there's a level set in the Initiative base, Riley himself doesn't appear in this game

LordCrump Fan sadly Riley isn’t in this game, but I believe he did appear in the GBA Buffy game (granted it’s just screenshots from episodes of season 4) but he is in the story.
Cheerios Thanks. That’s also interesting. It’s unfortunate but I guess they didn’t feel like it was necessary. I bet his actor would’ve loved to voice him though and they could’ve had the story involve him in some way. I haven’t played the game myself yet but I bet it is good

In any case, this game would be set around Season 5-6 sort of time. All we know is that it's pre Tara dying.
I like Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds
The Xbox version actually looks quite a bit better then either the PS2 or Gamecube. It's one of the licensed games you can tell had everything cranked up for the OG Xbox release then ended up downgraded on NGC and PS2. I like the Gamecube version second best for the controls and it has 60HZ Pal signal. PS2 version is honestly really poor, the widescreen is stretched too in that version.
Good game, pity you can't review the OG Buffy the Vampire Slayer for Xbox, that's an awesome game!
laura jones damn I have the og xbox buffy game but i bought chaos bleeds on the ps2. Just how much of difference does xbox version have over the ps2 one.
I have Chaos Bleeds on PS2 the polygon count is lower than the first one but the textures look much better. I need to get the Xbox version because in the first game her character model looks very firm
