Yes it will considering I was the first to start it after 16 years this car was a funny one I sold it back to the guy who fitted the 5 speed who said it was two much work for him even thouhg I told him all that it needed. Then he was going to brake it so Carter bought it then it was sold to someone on ebay who I assume is you guys. Not a bad car that I have had 45 P6's so I know them well but yeah and the reason we did the garden hose bodge is the heater box is rotten and it leeks we called it the Dull Rover and it's a series 1 car not a series 2 3500S make a good project for someone!
Hey baxy breakers I had one of these in red loved it! one of my first cars 3500s when you gave it a rev up the car rocked from side to side with the torque it had amazing 💯👈🏻👍🏻
The Rover V8 is an awesome machine . If it's a 5 speed box, it's been fitted with a SD1 gearbox. I knew Marky would get it going! Hopefully someone will buy it and get it back on the road. Free road tax and MOT exempt!
Get in touch with Classic Britain . His channel dedicated to P6s. Lots of young crowd buying these. Can get classic car insurance with a V8. I had a few 30 plus years ago. But my favourite was a P5 coupe. Classy car. But vulnerable to big rust. Classic Britain can help you.
May I suggest that you use a temporary fuel tank?, a motorcycle tank would work. Hang it on the bonnet and you could bypass the fuel pump. Run it properly then, maybe.
..I still miss this stunning British car..This car is the same beautiful US version that we bought in Calif to just drive around in..when we first moved out to Hollywood from New York City..and since I was unable then to do all the required regular maintenance all by myself..We decided to paint it a stunning Midnight Blue.. before finally selling it to Mary Tyler Moore's TV Director and Producer.. David Davis..who told me he actually knew how to work on it..all by himself....
That run really well 3500s is quite a desirable p6 ,you should contact matt at furious driving youtube channel he could do with another rover for his collection .I really hope someone does buy it ,These are very easy to dismantle though every panel unbolts including the roof ,being an early example i think it would have been an auto to start with /
That’s a really nice car. What happens to the nicer cars like these? Do they still get parted out or do they get sold? Be sad to see a car like that get parted.

Had a P6 2000TC back in the 80s. One of the best cars I ever owned, and I've had a few. Grossly underrated.
Well worth saving, could always put it through Mathewsons auction, great work lads

Classic Britain on RUclips likes the P6's and bought quite a few :)
May I suggest that you use a temporary fuel tank?, a motorcycle tank would work. Hang it on the bonnet and you could bypass the fuel pump.
Run it properly then, maybe.
Of course mark wil get it running boys 😊
Sweet 😀 About time marky had some luck 😂
What happened to the sierra saph st170 turbo project
Very nice 👌
Looks like a series one. The S badging must have been added later, probably by someone putting that 'box in.
looks like a NACA style
Not a genuine 3500S, It's too early, A converted auto but well worth saving and selling on to an enthusiast guy's, You should get decent ££ for it 👍

That’s a really nice car.
What happens to the nicer cars like these? Do they still get parted out or do they get sold?
Be sad to see a car like that get parted.
This will be resold, far to good to break
Certainly a 1970 example. 1971 "J"s are the plastic grilled P6Bs.
Does Marky boys other tattoo say will it start lol 🤣😂
someone has already done a will it run video on this car.......
27 sept on sale ebay !
Please don’t break it,make someone a nice running project👍

that rover mustof been done up its taxed till may 2024 great old cars them rovers
Shame that such a nice car gets scrapped
All rover p6s were manual
Good vid as usual gent’s.
Only the P6 3500S was manual and are rare, 95% + of P6 V8's were autos. This one is not a genuine 3500S.
No they wern't! Thye did a 2000 auto a 2.2SC auto and a 3500 auto!
@@scotty6346 In the V8 yes but they did do 4 pot manuals
@@classic_britain I was talking about the P6 V8 not the P6 2000 and 2200 4 cylinders.
@@scotty6346 Was going to say!
So whomuch wood u won't 4 the rover
the banger boys would love that
Nah they would't there shite bangers they are made with crumple zones that's why there are so many about!

It will definitely run this one James another superb video once again my merry bunch of tyre kickers
And no taping of a hammer
As well as the other anomalies, the reg. isn't original or correctly "age related" ??
🤙🤙🤙🤙
That was a 2000 originally, the Speedo is a dead giveaway. I’d guess that’s an sd1 engine and gearbox transplant.
Only a real spanner wears the V8 ay marky boy 👍
No no no stop tea cup 🔋
Those are aftermarket rims and are fukin vile imo
