These instructions are now out of date as Chrome OS has been updated and you cannot disable the need to request access to camera and microphone.

My chromebook just updated and i did all the resets but my bluetooth speaker keeps connecting and disconnecting and the audio isn't showing the bluetooth as an audio option. What do i do now?

Just received an HP chrome book for Christmas December 2023. Haven’t even had it one month and the volume is already messed up. No troubleshooting is helping that’s on RUclips right now. Very disappointed. Very disappointed. I won’t be buying another one.

I am in the same boat. I got it for Christmas and the audio is not working.
NOPE. It's from an external device, which worked before, playing a video; the sound icon is dark and doesn't respond to clicking on it.
