The writing sometimes is so good other times not so good haha but the fact s9/10 have created such cool moments still going this far into a season is amazing
The tragedy of alphas story.. she is trying to brainwash herself .. to not feel emotions .. and at the end she gives in to emotions .. she shows a part of herself to someone and she gets betrayed ... actually tragic
Can we put our hands together for Samantha Morton as Alpha Phenomenal performance and one of the best villains of the series We loved to hate her so much and cheered when she met her comic end.
This is such a good episode! Amazing opening scene. With Earl stepping up big time here. And Judith..she deals with so much that's wayy beyond her supposed maturity level. Daryl's got her tho.. And we gotta give Negan MVP here right? Lol. 🧟♀️🧟♂️
Negan was keeping Lydia safe by removing her from the game board she was no longer running around the woods to be captured by Alpha I was at full yes Negan at this How times change I think also that was why Carol was staring at paintings of Glenn She was feeling bad for letting his killer out.
When will these Whisperers learn you don’t talk to Beta you don’t sneeze around Beta you don’t breathe around Beta or He will kill you But all jokes aside Beta getting recognized clearly has it’s significance.
What an episode Carol and Negan working together to kill Alpha, this is up there as another one of my favourite episodes, still got chills watching this reaction, Negan had to be the one to do it and you'll find out why soon, Amazing storytelling.
@@HIPsteHeero they did in the sense that carol got negan back in the camp? the deal they made is them working together, he did something for her to get redemption from the group
@@MasterRiffics LOL, but there you say it again, working together implies that both parties have a participation in it. Yet, all that Carol did is let him out of his cell, that's it. Everything else is Negan, while during that whole time Carol is impatient, keeps lying to Daryl, and almost gets a load of people killed in her recklessness. And did she get him back in the camp? I mean, he got himself to the Whisperers ALL the way. And with Alexandria, she literally just gives this whole thing of: "Well, it's Negan, and yeah... Alpha needed to die, so yeah." there is no actual putting in a good word for him. All in all, I get what you're saying, it was just funny to me with the implication of them working together, when it's all just Negan and Carol using him and not even keeping her word when he shows up with her head. It's just: "What took you so long?" as if it is that easy and then just goes off to try and run again, never intending to uphold her end of the deal anyway.
Hey Rob and Trin! I know you kinda touched on it earlier, but do you ever plan on playing a game like Telltale's The Walking Dead? I think it would be fun and new 😁
It is still something they really want to do, but it is just a matter of finding the right moment and finding time in general to actually get to do so.
Negan took her to make her safe If anyone else of the Whisperers had seen her they would have been taking her to Alpha. She wasn’t safe before Alpha was dead. Negan liked Alpha a lot but you don’t hurt kids.
This is a great episode! I can't believe you are here already, I've followed you all the whole way, I love reliving the show through you all. They are the ones who get to live and we do it with them
I couldn’t wait for this episode! When Negan first showed up and you hated him so much, just like we all did, I relished watching you guys see his evolution. His character is so captivating. And JDM‘s voice and mannerisms are so iconic. I love it when Rob does an imitation! So here’s the next evolution of Negan. Love, love, love it!
I remember watching them hate Negan at first thinking "just wait!" It really is so fun watching people knowing the journey they'll take. Knew they'd love Negan and I'm sure they'll love one of the bonus 6 episodes specifically :-)
I think Carol questioned her decision on releasing Negan at this point of the Season because Alpha was attacking so she knew he hadn’t completed the mission I think everything else was done in case he didn’t follow through with the plan Her recklessness definitely took Daryl’s mind off Negan for a while Amazing episode and genuinely shocked reactions.
Beta is actually in fear it gives you a hint of who he was ..there's actually a scene in The Walking Dead I can't remember if it already happened or it's about to happen that kind of helps you figure out who he is.😊
Carol wasnt there for the lineup making her just enough detached to be able to work with negan. Combine with alpha hate and desperation, she saw the opportunity with negan to infiltrate the whisperers, while the rest of the cast wouldn’t trust him Also abraham vs beta woulda been good
There you have it Rob and Trin. With this episode the Walking Dead writers have performed a miracle by Turning Negan, a total villain who kills two of our hero's into a total bad ass who we care for and love.
i KNEW Negan wasn’t gonna let anything bad happen to Lydia knowing how he is with kids. but from the very beginning i wasn’t sure of his motive but i didn’t think he was switching sides, but i knew for sure nothing was happening to Lydia if he had anything to say about it.
Carol wasn't there for the line up when Glenn and AB died so she's probably got less of a grudge against Negan because she didn't see him at his worst.
Negan finally got justice for all of the Pike victims (I'm still not over Enid and Tara dying) and everyone else who died because of Alpha. Speaking of Enid, Gamma was actually wearing the same exact plaid overshirt Enid wore lol
RIP to Earl (his death was super sad made me teary eyed) and Mary didn’t expect her to die so soon) Negan finally killing Alpha was great to see having the previous main antagonist of the show kill the current main antagonist just feels great lol what an episode this was.
Rob - “can’t wait for Alpha to get her comeuppance”, me sitting here, “just wait another 45-50 minutes Rob”, and I can’t wait for the reaction. Really enjoying the ride you two.
"Carol Kinda makes sense?!" LOL cmon guys!!! Youre slipping. No way Daryl lets him out and it was established that Lydia did not either. Father Gabriel was the one who discovered he had gotten out, so it could not have been him. Carol not only had the motive, but just through process of elimination, it had to be her.
Twd is the best show ever, always excited to see your reaction. I know that it's not a movie, but some time in the future I really think that you ll enjoy playing RDR2, it s next level of emotion what you get playing it. Keep up the good work ❤
I agree that Beta would easily beat Rick in a fight. Beta was only trying to extract Lydia's location from Daryl in 9x13, but Daryl still struggled more against him than any previous opponent.
I mean at least Negan tried to created a civilization.. a cruel one .. but still a civilization with people. While Alpha wants just to kill everyone and destroy everything... so no cryes for her honestly.
This episode was insane! I personally loved the Magna reveal by her returning through the herd, I remember when I first saw the episode I was also wondering if she's alive or not. And Negan killing Alpha the same way Rick nearly killed him... good job guessing it was Carol, by the way! Also, love Judith and Daryl's bond. Looking forward to the next one
Negan ninja-slicing Alpha had me and my mom jumping out of the seat up and down and yelling. Then Carol's "Took you long enough" and Negan's reaction we were SHOOK. What an experience :D
Rob and Trin, Rip Frances, Gamma, Tammy Rose and Earl, the only family that Baby Adam has is Alden, Gamma didn’t deserve to be killed, I wanted to the survive during the end of the season
Kinda like he was meant to be Adams father as he lost Enid and then Adam lost his Parents. And I don't include the women who birthed him because even though she felt remorse in the end she still left him to die. Tammy and Earl were his parents.
Negan does still kill Alpha by slashing her throat just like in The Walking Dead comics, catching her off guard as well, and finally cutting off her head. In the comics, Negan plans on returning to Rick with Alpha's head, hoping it will impress Rick and perhaps earn him his freedom
This episode is one of my absolute favorites, it was brilliant from beginning to end. The way they set all that stuff up with Lydia and how they've written that going back and forth between Lydia inside the cabin and Alpha walking towards the cabin 🤌🏻. Then how they did the reveal it was Carol who set Negan free and that it was a big and well thought through plan was amazing not only because Alpha was FINALLY put down (the actress absolutely killed it though, we gotta give her that one) but also because it proved exactly how much Negan has changed and that he's actually extremely loyal to Alexandria/Hilltop and that there was not really a wrong agenda. He really ended up putting his ass on the line for these people. And yes, the Beta- mystery is one of my favorite things of the whole season!! He's such a well set up and played out character!🙏🏼 and RIP Earl one of the most heroic and badass deaths in the show. The balls that took him❤
Geez this episode was insane. The walker herd coming to Hilltop and Negan being with the Whisperers. Also, Negan tricked Alpha into thinking she'd kill her own daughter but instead Negan did his job. I love how Carol was like "Took you long enough"
I watched this with my father. I knew about the comics and why Negan was really there. I might’ve also saw spoilers. My dad was half awake the whole episode and I’m warning him about a death. My dad could not keep his eyes open. As soon as the blade moved my dad’s eyes went wide open!! Carol was still unexpected, great episode! 👀😂❤️
oh yeah!alpha is finally dead!can't believe they managed to create a character we hate even more than nigan!it's just a shame she died so quickly....it would have been great gabrielle to have her" confessed"! 😊
I wish we had of seen more reactions from negan in terms of what’s going on , we never saw his first reaction to ricks death , to the whisperers being a thing , to the whisperers killing all those heads on spikes including Henry and seeing what he felt for carol . But mainly I wanted to see his sadness for ricks death
The only thing i don't like about Carol being the one that let Negan out is she was still acting reckless just cause he was taking too long, yes she doesn't know if her planned worked or even if Negan was still alive to even keep going with the plan but she still could have just relaxed a little bit, especially for someone like her who has on multiple occasions acted like someone else to infiltrate on a enemy. She herself knows it takes some time of pretending to actually get a group to not pick up on that your really just faking with them. Negan had to take the time to make it believable. He might not have wanted to take that long either.
I remember being so shocked that it was Carol that let Negan out but was absolutely thrilled at the same time and was like how didn’t I see that it would have been her. Great reaction guys 🩷
so a little throw back to when Lydia said she let Negan out and Daryl was like no you didn't. This whole time i think it was Carol that let him out to go kill Alpha

@@ruthfoley2580 Amazing news! really happy you are getting better.

I can watch negan bashing peoples heads in, I can watch walkers being ripped apart but Judith crying just kills me.
I love how Negan gave Alpha the Rick treatment. He deceived her and slit her throat just like Rick did.
