I'd say his parents had a fallout shelter. All that doomsday prepping had to come from somewhere his parents probably talked about it and he picked it up. Perhaps they were lucky enough to survive in the fallout shelter.
Probably not shelters like that in LA, def not in the part of the city they would’ve lived in. There’s no basements, nothing underground. It’s a great way to get crushed or trapped in an earthquake. Yes, he should have been brought back sometime in the show. I'm watching it all the way through again. Some episodes are so hard to watch. Good show.
I mean as DARK as it is, I always kinda assumed Tobias killed himself when he saw things escalating, not wanting to be around for a world he was ultimately unprepared for. He was a smart student and while he did have a weapon on him in preparation, I can't imagine he'd have any motive to live once the world was collapsing. I'm forgetting what status he held with academics but I imagine tons of honor-student types killed themselves when they realized they spend their entire lives preparing for school only for the world to end and their way of life and everything they valued didn't matter anymore.
I've always believed that the first appearance of Tobias was the morning after his grandfather or mother who was sick with "the flu" had died and turned the night before. Tobias, being a child of technology had been in some back corners of the internet and had seen documents or reports from random isolated locations about sick people dying and turning. Tobias knew what was up and he knew everyone was going to be on their own. He probably had plans to stuff that backpack with food before leaving school that day. Leaving the cart of food was just a plot hole, just like how in TWD we watch a walker holding a large rock or busted section of curb above his head pounding it on the glass doors of the department store.....yet, walkers don't use tools.
I always felt like Tobias would still be alive. He’d have been out in the yard digging his bunker (to code because he’s a nerd like that) while his parents ignored it calling it his “personality quirk”. Since the military was set up in the general area they probably checked there because it would be an easy and obvious target for them to loot the school for resources. Fear the Walking Dead began with such promise. It wasn't perfect, but it had serious literary goals. The book that appears with Nick in the first episode, Winesburg, Ohio by Sherwood Anderson, plays a major part in the direction of that first season. It's underlying all throughout the plot points that happen to Nick and his family. There's even direct correlations, chapter by chapter. What was so great about Fear the Walking Dead, was that the characters are very hard to like. They show attributes that aren't necessarily shared by the characters in The Walking Dead. You have definite heroes and villains in TWD. Fear the Walking Dead was comprised of villains meant to be heroes. And any series or film that can make you feel some sympathy, or understanding of a character or a group of people, that don't always make choices that are "right", can be compelling viewing. It can make you look at yourself a little more honestly, and deeply. Would you make the same choices in that situation. Once Nick was gone, the whole series took a dive. He was central to that story. Pivotal. He was our view on the grotesque.
With the way the world is, I've been telling people to start practicing and implementing emergency preparedness. Also, in real life there are old nuclear escape tunnels in LA county, so his character could have escaped that way on the show.
I can see him out in the wilderness on the outskirts of a few small towns. Living alone, hunting and trapping some and making forays for materials and supplies that may still exist. A loner because... people are too damn stupid to be around.
wild game will be hunted to near extinction almost immediately or lost to stray gunfire, bombings or walker on animal attacks Don't think that makes for a reliable source of sustainment especially anywhere near a major population of humans soon to be walkers
I would like to see a Tales episode featuring Tobias. And, since Madison, Alicia, and Troy's daughter headed for LA at the end of Fear, I would like to see Tobias reunite with Madison.
Now there was a game of The Walking Dead pre infection and when Rick was in the hospital with Shane when he was still a deputy . He is shown going thru a story where is on a radio call when its a call about a disturbance at a home. He goes thru senarios where people are infected in the house and in a few frames they show these persons die rather quickly and then reanimate. I can't remember any details like the title of the game but I do remember running thru it to that point.
Considering how he's a kid he probably stayed with his family who most likely also never believed him. They likely never made it out of the city but they'll definitely bring him back when the show is far past it's expiration date
Tobias should have been a recurring character.he knew more than he let on . I liked tobias and thought we would meet him again .was a great character and a strong one
Firstly, your english sounds great!!! Second, you never know who or how folks will survive in the Walking Dead universe so it's quite feasible that Tobias is alive and thriving.
The first zombie kill in “Fear the Walking Dead” occurs in the pilot episode, “Pilot.” The main character, Nick Clark, kills his girlfriend Gloria, who has turned into a zombie. This event marks the beginning of the zombie apocalypse for the characters in the series.
I like the idea I just think there's other characters more suited for that role to come back. He's from so early on that most people wouldn't even know who he was. I do think fear was very far fetched with characters coming back from the dead multiple times but good conversation piece of a vid bro!
I always wanted to see them follow up with this character because of his self-awareness it would have been interesting to see how he was navigating the situation. It was a missed opportunity but I guess they could always bring him back the actor and just do it later. I hope they do. I'm also seriously interested and will check it out if they were to do a one or two seasons slow burn show that tells the entire story of the fall from the very first moments Tobias was talking about all the way up to I don't know maybe even beyond slightly beyond operation cobalt. And bring the kids back and just let's follow him through that. Of time so we see what he sees. That way when he speaks with Madison we know exactly why he is saying what he is saying and what he saw. Plus I really would love to see just how it all falls apart but I don't get rushed and fear The walking Dead like all civilization was gone by Day episode 2 or something I would like to see it much more played out than that
If Tobias knew everything he'd have known to pike Artie's brain. He survives and learned that because of Madison. Tobias had the info that some sickness was going around and making people violent, but Madison knew about walkers having seen someone killed in self defense and hit by a truck continuing to come after them. I think people want to take having some more knowledge before others as some premonition thing, but doomsday preppers exist irl too, zombies don't
I remember when the bath salts thing happened... there was a kid at my school who acted the same way lmao. He legitimately believed it was the beginning.
Tobias is a time traveler . He can only change one thing per trip back, each small change helps the other groups live long enough to rebuild civilization. Sadly, he has to live long enough to die in the same spot of the cycle so his corpse can be used for the next trip back.
I always thought they would bring back Tobias at some point. And yes, he would definitely be a character who was thriving, not just surviving as he pretty much called it in the beginning.
Tobias should have been the season 8 villain instead of Troy if they were going to bring a character back that we haven't seen in a while

#justiceforTobias
Writers just forgot about him
HOnestly, he should be in Daryl Dixon show to find a cure.
It could happen. What if he left for France right before they shut down all airports
@@daoyang223i doubt a kid in school already has a passport
@Rob-z7k possibly true. Unless TWD does its thing and just goes "oh he got picked up by scientists" or some shit

Maybe a spin-off of them going back to LA and they see him
I would like to see Tobias in some telltale game as a character we can play (just like Clementine)
I wish fear the walking dead went more into detail about the start of the zombie apocalypse. I wish we could have seen LA the next day after the riots
I can see him out in the wilderness on the outskirts of a few small towns. Living alone, hunting and trapping some and making forays for materials and supplies that may still exist.
A loner because... people are too damn stupid to be around.
wild game will be hunted to near extinction almost immediately or lost to stray gunfire, bombings or
walker on animal attacks
Don't think that makes for a reliable source of sustainment especially anywhere near a major population of humans soon to be walkers
The looting supplies though that's something good for meny years but extremely dangerous alone
People are to dangerous to be around until your main threat becomes other humans not the walkers.
then your team becomes your strongest defense.
It's not a "script hole". It's a "get out of here right now because being alive right now is more important than the canned food".
Your English is great ❤ you're doing a great job. I'm sure that by now, as this was 3 months ago, that it's improved a lot. Keep up the good work ❤🎉
i think La despite the bombing would be a cool place to tell stories, i wish we could have seen more of it, aint no bombing ending La
He was just the first to speak about it. he didn't predict anything. good lord
I think the missing canned food cart is just a continuity error 😅
I would like to see a Tales episode featuring Tobias. And, since Madison, Alicia, and Troy's daughter headed for LA at the end of Fear, I would like to see Tobias reunite with Madison.
Now there was a game of The Walking Dead pre infection and when Rick was in the hospital with Shane when he was still a deputy . He is shown going thru a story where is on a radio call when its a call about a disturbance at a home. He goes thru senarios where people are infected in the house and in a few frames they show these persons die rather quickly and then reanimate. I can't remember any details like the title of the game but I do remember running thru it to that point.
youtube recomendou o teu vídeo e to feliz que cliquei pra assistir! Ótimo video, continua assim cara, já me inscrevi no canal
Your English is good. Keep up the good work!
I like to think that Tobias is like Bill from the last of us, was always prepared for the apocalypse so now he's currently thriving
A - !Good Written! episode of Tales about Tobias would be amazing...
João nos estates, amazing video, send a hug to brezilll!
I was hoping that they would have brought him back as a side character. even if just for a few lines. thats all we need to know he survived.
Dude amazing video your english is great man good job
Firstly, your english sounds great!!! Second, you never know who or how folks will survive in the Walking Dead universe so it's quite feasible that Tobias is alive and thriving.
The first zombie kill in “Fear the Walking Dead” occurs in the pilot episode, “Pilot.” The main character, Nick Clark, kills his girlfriend Gloria, who has turned into a zombie. This event marks the beginning of the zombie apocalypse for the characters in the series.
8:03 "bolbing"
Idk why i did this i just thought it was funny, good video dude!
Tobias is still alive. Show runners confirmed it.
No worries my man your English sounds great. The fact that you speak more than one language is absolutely commendable.
I like the idea I just think there's other characters more suited for that role to come back. He's from so early on that most people wouldn't even know who he was. I do think fear was very far fetched with characters coming back from the dead multiple times but good conversation piece of a vid bro!
That kid always came to mind even after I ditched this dumpster fire of a series.
Bottom line in 1 min he’s alive 400 pounds in some bunker sitting on a recliner with his tv and Xbox eating a lifetime supply of potato chips lol
Lmao where did this come from
Is this a little nod to the first tales of twd episode?
I want him to not just be alive but to thrive.
Plus I really would love to see just how it all falls apart but I don't get rushed and fear The walking Dead like all civilization was gone by Day episode 2 or something I would like to see it much more played out than that
I miss Tobias!!
He was there for 1 episodes for barley any time how do you miss him lmfao
If Tobias knew everything he'd have known to pike Artie's brain. He survives and learned that because of Madison. Tobias had the info that some sickness was going around and making people violent, but Madison knew about walkers having seen someone killed in self defense and hit by a truck continuing to come after them. I think people want to take having some more knowledge before others as some premonition thing, but doomsday preppers exist irl too, zombies don't
I remember when the bath salts thing happened... there was a kid at my school who acted the same way lmao. He legitimately believed it was the beginning.
Tobais was the best character. Because he represented the gamer character. The one who wielded the power of the internet to use knowledge.
There are those of us who know out there. When we warn you , you should listen.
Salve salve João Victor é nóis aki!!👏👏👏
Tobias is a time traveler . He can only change one thing per trip back, each small change helps the other groups live long enough to rebuild civilization. Sadly, he has to live long enough to die in the same spot of the cycle so his corpse can be used for the next trip back.
How did you know that?
I know nothing. 😁
I just wonder who bit the principle and where the walker went?
I always thought they would bring back Tobias at some point.
And yes, he would definitely be a character who was thriving, not just surviving as he pretty much called it in the beginning.
People like Tobias character arequicker to reconize danger than other more insulated groups.
We need a show with just him and his journey tbh
great video and great job with your English keep up the good work
When the school project for biology class you did as a homework escapes and kills the world.
They need to bring him back somehow as a hero because as an outcast myself I really liked his character.
Tobias represents the based population who says the truth but are ignored.
Like who?
