Hi, could you include in your next video wholesome out and about? It's an upcoming cozy and educational game, so you won't feel guilty when playing it 😁. In this game you learn plant identification for foraging as well does it provide cooking and crafting recipes for real life. Also it broadens your farming knowledge like not so many other farming games does for instance it teaches companion planting (which plants should be planted next to each other for them to grow better). Moreover, if you like romance it will be included as well. Currently they are running their kickstarter campaign! Ps: I know I requested this some days before, but maybe my comment got lost by all the comments you receive.
While I was looking forward to Fae Farm for a long time and it was my most highly anticipated game of the year, Harvest Moon has taken over my life! Wasn’t expecting that! So I spend my free time in my new Autumn Fairy Sloth Hoodie playing Harvest Moon for hours at a time! Thank you for your videos!
I'm loving Mineko's Night Market. It's understandable if you don't like simple story games. For me I got a lot more than I was expecting from it. It might have helped if you didn't spend all your money at the market. I got 1k my first night market so unlocked the next area right away. Second night market I had 2K so was able to buy the fishing rod and both of the new crafting stations. So a new area again and new things to make. All new mini games. Also you start unlocking lots of recipes by completing villager quests. There is a lot to this game, but yeah the mini games are simple. It's meant to be more linear story focused. More like "The Last Campefire" or "a short hike" than farming sim or rpg type of game.
I so can't wait for Moonstone Island to release on Switch! It looks so good! I love the card based battles. Sad to hear it still has short days. This makes me very excited for Sun Haven to release on Switch! I really need slower days to feel a game is truly cozy. I started playing Fae Farm, but it's so broken right now with bugs that I've stopped playing. And honestly, until they slow down time and/or actually pause time in all menus, I'm not going to play again. It's just too frustrating.
I’ve only played 2/6 on your list. So I think Fae Farm is my number 1, with Paleo Pines my number 2. I can’t wait for Moonstone island to hit the switch! It may be number 1 for me, once I can play it 😍
I was so sure my absolute favourite was going to be paleo pines, but after seeing moonstone island I could not agree more I am in love with this game!!!! For me personally aesthetic plays a big part in how much I’m going to think about a game, thus want to play it. Moonstone i so gorgeous I don’t think I’ll ever get over the npc portraits I’ll never pick just one to romance 😭
So much good stuff has been releasing! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I am still on the fence about a couple of these and it's so helpful to see what people think.
Payton yes!! Thank you for the hard work into making this video, what a lovely month 💜 I’m gonna watch this video and Josh’s monthly video and just have about the coziest of Sunday mornings 🎉
On Switch so haven’t played it but I’m looking forward to Moonstone Island when it comes out. I’m obsessed with Fae Farm right now. I’ve been playing it exclusively since release and can’t stop. I haven’t loved a game this much since ACNH. I love a good game ranking, it gives us a good overview of pros and cons and helps us decide which one might suit our tastes better. Great video once again- thanks Payton! 😊
I can’t wait til we get to play Moonstone! Ngl I do have a steam deck on the way to be able access games a bit earlier. Once I realized games could take years to come I was like yep okay. Or even months til switch. I have zero patience. That game looks so so good
I thought Fae Farm was going to be my favorite game of the month… but Harvest Moon ultimately won me over. Bought Sprout Valley, but haven’t played it. My ranking: 1. Harvest Moon 2. Fae Farm 3. Paleo Pines 4. Mineko’s Night Market 5. Moonstone Island
Great reviews! My opinion on my favorite is Minekos night market. Kind of biased because I have been waiting since they announced it around 2016! Lol. Also, what camera do you use for your set up? The picture is fantastic.
@@tinabeana7You could definitely wait for updates but as long as devs keep working on it (they are actively saying they are) I find the price to be worth it myself. I’ve already played around 18 hrs and Ik thats not much but I work 6 days a week.
I was waiting for this video!!! I loved the new ranking format. It would also be nice if next month you mention how many hours you been able to play each game 💖
I honestly knew this ranking was going to be just like how I expected it to be but the last one really had my head spinning lol honestly moonstone island does really looks good can’t wait for it to come out to switch thank you so much for an amazing ranking review Payton
Is it weird to be excited for this? If it’s weird I’m okay with that hahah! I am looking forward to this video because I can’t buy all the games right now and need help rank ordering my wishlist!! Watching the VODs it doesn’t look like I could go wrong with any of them though 😉😂
Fae Farm is my favorite of the month, Harvest Moon is a very close 2nd. I also like Paleo Pines & Mineko. While they look cute, I don't like Pixel art games so won't be playing Moonstone Island or Sprout Valley.
Thanks for the comprehensive review! I can't wait for Moonstone Island to come to the Switch!! Going to get Mineko's Night Market once it's on sale. Story/NPCs/Friendship/Romance are my favorite parts of any sim game, so Paleo Pines and Fae Farm are probably a no for me, unless either gets an update or improvement in that category. I was on the fence about Harvest Moon, but I'm actually hearing some good stuff about it!
So bummed that Moonstone Island isn't currently available on Switch. Hopefully it will be released before the holidays. Crosses fingers and hopes really hard😆🤞
Harvest Moon only has one problem, having to harvest one by one. You learn to use items on a large scale, like the watering can for example, which waters several areas as you level it. But there is no update for you to harvest several crops at the same time, this makes the game very tiring on the farm side, especially when you increase the plowed area.
I have Sprout Valley and Winds of Anthos but haven't played them yet...because my gaming time (which has taking a bit of a hit because of some crafting) has been pretty full with Fae Farm, Pokemon DLC, and now the Ooblets Halloween event!
Idk about 1st world country prices, but Cozy Games are getting hella expensive in Brazil. They look very very good and cute, but sometimes I feel like they should work more on the gameplay instead for their prices to be more reasonable. I have to search quite a bit to decide which ones to buy so I don't end up wasting money on something that is very pretty but not entertaining or engaging enough
They’re definitely going up in price here in the US too but there are some AMAZING ones that are not so expensive! My goal is always to try everything out and give my takes / reviews to hopefully help everyone make the most informed decision on what they want to purchase!
My first place is moonstone island too! Played for 30 hours already, what a gem :D I could never put up with the (in my eyes very ugly) 3d graphics of the other contenders! Always suprised that others can..
For me HM is by far the last place. Why? Bc of the SeasonPass.... Natsume dont do justice to the HM Name. They want that we pay for basic features like most of the seets, fishs or recepies and we have to pay real money to upgrade or tools to the last stage? I think things like this have to be in the video bc not all cozy gamers want to pay 50 € for the basegame and 22 € for the dlcs.... sure 2,99 € isnt that much but for basic features? idk its wild to me....
it pleased me sm that moonstone island won, bc while september had many cozy releases, i really wasnt intrigued with anything except moonstone island! felt like that game was specifically in tune with what i look for ❤
The only thing of Moonstone that I wasn't a fan of, was the design of the NPCs, they looked weird to me, the rest of it seems like something I would enjoy.
I’m kind of disappointed with fae farm. For the cost it’s kinda glitchy, including one glitch in a main quest that I can’t get past. It’s really stopped me doing much of anything, though I think it’s the end of the content anyway. I also don’t understand why it tells us npc’s birthdays if we can’t give them anything for their birthday. The events are such a non event too. Its definitely pretty but I’d rather a less aesthetic game that felt more thought out. Idk, maybe I’m being too critical. Curious to play harvest moon & moonstone island after hearing your opinions 😊
I can agree with this. Hoping they update a lot of this as time goes on. This game could be SPECTACULAR as I really enjoy it now I’d die if it was even better. I definitely need Moonstone once my steam deck comes.
Ugh, I was really looking forward to playing fae farm but the fact that it’s timed and you’re forced to go to bed is a deal breaker. Those types of game stress me out/piss me off.
What was YOUR favorite game of the month?
Faefarm❤🎉
Definitely FaeFarm can’t wait to play it myself!
100% Fae farm I just can't stop playing it also on pc palia and I can't wait for it to come to switch😊
Paleo pines easy!!!
Definitely the cosmic Wheel Sisterhood, I love it soooo much
Wowww we are your number one! What an honor!! Thank you so much. So glad you're enjoying it
Thank you so much for your game!! The love and work that you have put into it is so clear and I’ve been having so much fun exploring! 🥰
@@PaytonsCorner We love to hear that. We really did put our hearts into it. Thanks again!

Really enjoyed the video and hearing your thoughts! Moonstone Island has been so much fun. Its really cool to see that you put it first!
Is it a coincidence that Harvest Moon’s UI looks very Zelda-ish? I like it
I thought Fae Farm was going to be my favorite game of the month… but Harvest Moon ultimately won me over. Bought Sprout Valley, but haven’t played it.
My ranking:
1. Harvest Moon
2. Fae Farm
3. Paleo Pines
4. Mineko’s Night Market
5. Moonstone Island
Also, adding it was hard to decide my own ranking. All are great games.
Is there a lot to do in Paleo? Worried I’ll get bored
Great reviews! My opinion on my favorite is Minekos night market. Kind of biased because I have been waiting since they announced it around 2016! Lol.

Thank you so much! I use the Logitech brio!
can’t wait to try moonstone island, reminds me of Ooblets, Stardew and Pokémon
i love the art style so much too
minekos might market is my FAVE ♥️ can’t put it down!!

I have watched others play the rest & might check them out at some point.
Fae Farm is my favorite of the month, Harvest Moon is a very close 2nd. I also like Paleo Pines & Mineko. While they look cute, I don't like Pixel art games so won't be playing Moonstone Island or Sprout Valley.
Agree on 1 and 2!! I was SURE Faefarm would be the best but moonstone island just SLAYED
I been playing Fae Farm a lot so now I know I need Moonstone🤣
I enjoyed sprout valley I just finished,it can be dull, but worth the price after getting into it

Moonstone island looks so cute but a farming game without a character editor is a big no go for me :(

This rating system confuses me.
I put my favorite game in 1st and my least favorite in last (6th) and we counted from last to first!
Harvest Moon looks like a surprise winner this month for me. Fae Farm the biggest disappointment.
