Thank you so so much for the basic info because I had forgotten how to use my Nikon. I am not a photographer, my daughter is. I just wanted a camera and had it for quite a long time now. I attempted to use it this past weekend and had it in live mold, then I couldn’t remember how get it to record again. I got so confused. After turning the camera on .
Put in it manual mode,then press flash switch on the side (the flash light pops up).
Then by switching to view finder adjust to favoured focus then ,have a gentle half press..then fully press.
And it flashes..

Nope it's not good for vlogging it's heavy and the auto focus is not so good

Night vision light? You talking about an led light there are a few under $100 that might work.

I got one but im new to my camera and the night vision light is no different to the night vision effect and seems to need a light source, i want to be able to use in the dark
