What I wouldn't give to have a GameCube. It was in your face in magazines and the games released were super-desirable.. Its so hard now to find and even the few games found here are similarly priced to PS4/5 games. The only way to get one now is to import into South Africa... These days, I'd tell someone to get a gamecube with a digital port with a gcloader, carby, mclassic, and then getting all those roms online. If they don't want that, I'd tell them to play these games on dolphin because they're so cost prohibitive.

Ok, I have all star baseball 2003 complete with the all star baseball card collection in its sealed pack still. Honestly as a huge baseball game fanatic 2003 and 2004 the best baseball games on GameCube came from all star baseball before taking a step backwards for its 2005 variant and it’s when mvp took over for me . Arcade wise Mario Baseball was incredible, I would agree the peak of Mario sports games was GameCube. Mario kart for us was great because it came out when our kids were like 4-5 years old and they could throw stuff and it made them perfect teammates for races

Nice collection, boys! If you haven't tried it and happen to come across it, a wrestling game I've dumped a lot of time into on the GC is Ultimate Muscle. Cel shaded, great control, build a wrestler mode, and build a finisher too which is pretty cool; I never get tired of seeing Kid Muscle put someone in a Muscle Buster. Thanks for another great vid!
Rogue Leader and The Twin Snakes are the main reasons I got the GameCube... and yet the game I spend the most time on is Donkey Konga, and I don't even have the bongos!
I guess I didn't actually notice the multiplayer problem with doubledash because at the time I normally was just playing with 1 friend. Awesome collection guys!

Rogue Squadron 2 and 3 are great but I always disliked the babysitting/escort missions, but that is a personal thing. Good Games to look out for: Bloody Roar Primal, Custom Robo, Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II, and Extreme G Racing,
I love GameCube games, but ever since I saw the Japanese GameCube cases I got sad. The Japanese boxes look so much better! So I decided to only collect the GameCube games I really care for. Keeping my collection small and precious.
I completely disagree. The cardboard on top of the fuzzy plastic case seems so impractical. The cases and cover arts of PAL/NTSC regions are more durable and look much nicer on a shelf.
I love the GameCube wasn’t a system I got into back in the day cause I myself thought it was a kiddie console but sadly the games are way to expensive for me to collect so I bought the gc loader for my cube and wasn’t disappointed at all great and fun system
I actually just sold my copy of Thousand Year Door. I really had to think about it, but I couldn't deny the price it was going for. When I got it I was lucky enough to hunt it down at a Goodwill and bought it for $3...THE PROFIT MARGIN AM I RIGHT?! Lol love you guys, great video.

I have trouble believing that if Nintendo released a new F-Zero tomorrow, that A) it wouldn’t sell gangbusters and B) It would eat into the sales of it’s Mario Kart series. Nintendo just kinda hates us I guess.

Pokemon Colosseum , Twin Snakes and Hit and Run...they all had to go so I could get me some cartridge games! I have been keeping the first party Nintendo games, for some reason.

My copy of Twin Snakes also has the label peeling issue on both discs. Just took a visit on eBay last night to check it out, each disc is like 40-50 bucks loose and peeling. No thanks.

The foil tape that Gamecube used was cheap same goes for the plastic for Nintendo consoles. But the gamecube is up there with the Snes first and third party games for Nintendo consoles/games. The switch is boom but it’s a mix from the great games vs the shovel games like the wii did.

Hahaha, I bought my Gamecube back in 2002 to specifically play Super Mario Sunshine. I was in college and didn’t give a fuck that it was “aimed at kids”. I have a rule that i need to play every Super Mario game as long as they keep releasing them. For what it’s worth, I owned the PS2 before the gamecube because, well, I had to get GTA3… but I still like the gamecube. It was its own thing. But yeah, Nintendo has always appealed to a broader audience and I understand that approach. It’s funny so many people in my age range rejected Nintendo for the same reasons they fell in love with them. In the end, video games were started as kids toys. I will always feel like a kid at heart whether I boot up my Gamecube, my Xbox Series X, or any video game. Guess that’s the result of starting playing games when I was 4 years old in 1988. In fact, it’s one of the things that draws me into gaming to this day: it makes me connect with my childhood.
The GameCube is mg favorite console of all time. I’m excited about retro fighters making a new controller for it. My favorite GameCube game is paper Mario thousand year door. God please help us get a switch port
GameCube has been my favorite console since it launched. I’m so thankful that it was my primary console that gen. I maybe have a third of the library and I only once paid more than retail for a game. It’s impossible to collect for now, but I’d never part with any of my games.
I've had Eternal Darkness forever, but have never played it. I heard it messes with you hard and even at 1 point acts like the controller is broken. Game sounds insane! I'm a proud owner of every Zelda game for the GameCube. Ikaruga is on my wishlist,but it goes for about 100$ now where I'm at. Ugh! Nice collection guys!
I'd just be happy to have Luigi's Mansion, Wind Waker, Smash Melee, and Wario World, I already have a small collection with F Zero, Super Mario Sunshine, Twilight Princess, Mario Kart Double Dash, Sonic Heroes and Wave Race Blue Storm.
I’m sure everyone has plugged melee it’s a staple we all know that. I could mention the megaman and sonic collection, also for jrpgs tales of symphonia is still relatively cheap as well. I believe you can find baten kaitos not too expensive as well it’s a beautiful looking jrpg it’s card based which I’m not normally into but it’s great. Also bounty hunter with jango fett for the Star Wars universe is a solid game.
Wow I wish I had some of those heavy hitters and the game boy player and start up disc. How much did you guys get that for bc every time I see it they are 180 to 200 together. Once I saw the player for 10 bucks. Kick myself for not getting that. I just thought it doesn't have the disc so I passed.
Man, i have the same issue with my mario party 6. plays fine with no issues at all, but the label is pealing/flaking. My OCD makes me want another with a pretty label lol. Great video as always guys.
Im glad I managed to get Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg and Chibi Robo a decade ago. The prices for those games are ridiculous. I really dont understand how mass produced games are now considered "rare" thus making them expensive 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️

I really do not think you guys understood how to play Wrestlemania 18. It’s such a freestyle wrestling game with Day of Reckoning 1 & 2 being even better.
Never played the smackdown series (I was a Day of Reckoning guy in that era) which smackdow game is your favorite if u had to pick one? I'll put it on my list and check it out
Something you guys have said a few times is "it's not a very deep game". As I get older the games I tend to want to play are more shallow games that allow for the best multiplayer experience. I'd rather beat my friends in a watersports games before diving deep into a 60+ hour single player experience.

You absolutely can do cups in two player Double Dash - not sure about 3 or 4 players though that might be different.
Ya, 3-4 player you can do a tournament but it makes you select the next race each time which is a small gripe but it's annoying :). Cheers!

Eternal Darkness is God Tier....Double Dash is incredible. Metroid Prime I took a long time to appreciate but this game was incredible.

Gamecube and wii u are the next Sega Saturn. It's so underrated and now become a collector's hot item to get. I got about 25 games on it.

yeah we are pretty proud of our gamecube collection. for the most part got what we want. yeah it will be hard to ever duplicate those wrestling games. thanks for watching have a good one
My copy of Twin Snakes also has the label peeling issue on both discs. Just took a visit on eBay last night to check it out, each disc is like 40-50 bucks loose and peeling. No thanks.

The foil tape that Gamecube used was cheap same goes for the plastic for Nintendo consoles. But the gamecube is up there with the Snes first and third party games for Nintendo consoles/games. The switch is boom but it’s a mix from the great games vs the shovel games like the wii did.
Wario World Has Got to Be The Most Underrated 3d Nintendo IP Ever Made this Game Is Incredible from the gameplay and music the story was Weird but it Fits Wario Bigtime

Hahaha, I bought my Gamecube back in 2002 to specifically play Super Mario Sunshine. I was in college and didn’t give a fuck that it was “aimed at kids”. I have a rule that i need to play every Super Mario game as long as they keep releasing them. For what it’s worth, I owned the PS2 before the gamecube because, well, I had to get GTA3… but I still like the gamecube. It was its own thing. But yeah, Nintendo has always appealed to a broader audience and I understand that approach. It’s funny so many people in my age range rejected Nintendo for the same reasons they fell in love with them. In the end, video games were started as kids toys. I will always feel like a kid at heart whether I boot up my Gamecube, my Xbox Series X, or any video game. Guess that’s the result of starting playing games when I was 4 years old in 1988. In fact, it’s one of the things that draws me into gaming to this day: it makes me connect with my childhood.
Nintendo 64 for Cups in Mario Kart and GameCube for the multiplayer.

The GameCube is mg favorite console of all time. I’m excited about retro fighters making a new controller for it. My favorite GameCube game is paper Mario thousand year door. God please help us get a switch port
GameCube has been my favorite console since it launched. I’m so thankful that it was my primary console that gen. I maybe have a third of the library and I only once paid more than retail for a game. It’s impossible to collect for now, but I’d never part with any of my games.

I've had Eternal Darkness forever, but have never played it. I heard it messes with you hard and even at 1 point acts like the controller is broken. Game sounds insane! I'm a proud owner of every Zelda game for the GameCube. Ikaruga is on my wishlist,but it goes for about 100$ now where I'm at. Ugh!

I’m sure everyone has plugged melee it’s a staple we all know that. I could mention the megaman and sonic collection, also for jrpgs tales of symphonia is still relatively cheap as well. I believe you can find baten kaitos not too expensive as well it’s a beautiful looking jrpg it’s card based which I’m not normally into but it’s great. Also bounty hunter with jango fett for the Star Wars universe is a solid game.

Wow I wish I had some of those heavy hitters and the game boy player and start up disc. How much did you guys get that for bc every time I see it they are 180 to 200 together. Once I saw the player for 10 bucks. Kick myself for not getting that. I just thought it doesn't have the disc so I passed.

Man, i have the same issue with my mario party 6. plays fine with no issues at all, but the label is pealing/flaking. My OCD makes me want another with a pretty label lol. Great video as always guys.
I didn’t know Eternal Darkness came in a Players Choice version.. that’s probably harder to find than the regular edition honestly. Pretty cool
Im glad I managed to get Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg and Chibi Robo a decade ago. The prices for those games are ridiculous. I really dont understand how mass produced games are now considered "rare" thus making them expensive 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️

@@GamingOffTheGrid Yeah that makes sense whe you put it that way. So far the arcade sports games on the Gamecube are affordable. Star Wars Bounty Hunter the best version of the game is the Gamecube one and is still affordable for now. I really need to get it!
I really do not think you guys understood how to play Wrestlemania 18. It’s such a freestyle wrestling game with Day of Reckoning 1 & 2 being even better.

Something you guys have said a few times is "it's not a very deep game". As I get older the games I tend to want to play are more shallow games that allow for the best multiplayer experience. I'd rather beat my friends in a watersports games before diving deep into a 60+ hour single player experience.
