Going off of memory, I believe I played Midnight Club on the PS2 first. I played it with my brother when we were younger. Then it was Twisted Metal Head-On after that. So much love for the PS2 though!
Guys do not get rid of Mercenaries. You are missing out. It was one of the most fun open world military shooters I have ever played. The gameplay is so open ended that you can go about your missions in different ways. Do I go in a capture the target for some extra bonus cash or do I take the easy and much more fun way and level the building he is in killing him. Do I do it with a missle strike, a bunker buster, or should I take a helicopter in, and then call in a tank. So much fun. It was so good I played through it 3 times and you get to keep all your unlocks with each playthrough allowing you to start again with all the best stuff for just sheer chaos. The level of destruction is a thing of beauty for a game of that era. Definitely worth a playthrough. Take it from me, every time I got rid of the game I turned around and bought it again. You will regret getting rid of it.
I find myself seasonally purging games, similar to the way a person would trim branches off a bonsai tree. Nice to see that you guys take a similar approach and keep the collection tidy.
I will never forget, my first PS2 gaming memories are using my first paycheck after moving down to MD to buy a PS deuce, Gran Turismo 3: A spec and a 27” CRT TV. Seriously, If nobody requests the Yu Gi Oh, BattleStar or Naruto, I’d put in a request for one of them for Sam and Maddy, especially if you guys could sign the instruction booklet cause they have my PS deuce and it would make their xmas, even if the game is a turd burglar because it came from you guys.
GT 3 is still my favorite! I've never really been into sim racers (more of arcade racing fan) but that game blew my mind. The PS2 was fire man. We still play the hell out of ours. Great times! Cheers!

I have a limited little gaming space so collecting on a rotating basis has been my thing with only a handful from the other eras. I think it's a more sustainable way of gaming and tbh I feel I do my part in keeping the price down on older titles this way by putting them back in pawn shops

The first game i played was Dark Cloud. Which always felt like a spiritual successor to Actraiser. Also I'll claim Orphen if no one else has. Great thing you are doing for the fans. Keep it up the awesome content fellas! And tell that Chris guy to not be concerned about the grid lol 😛

My ps2 came with atv offroad fury 2 but my most played games were definitely Dave Mirra Bmx freestyle 2 ,All the sly cooper games, and definitely the tiger woods games
My first PS2 game was NBA Live 2001. It was more for my brother than me, I was just happy we had a PS2 now. I’m pretty sure I still have a box of some ps2 and ps1 games in my garage. The only games I keep out and ready to play though are Crash Bash, Kingdom Hearts, Smackdown: Here Comes the Pain, and a personal favorite of mine, The Bouncer. That Yu-Gi-Oh game looks familiar, but I don’t think I ever played it. I put a lot hours into one on GameBoy Advance though back in the day.

Killzone wasent a Co Op shooter on the PS2. But IMO, was one of the better single player FPS on the PS2.... LOL i wouldn't purge anything , they hardly take up any shelf space and arent worth much, However, if you're giving them away, thats a nice touch.... Lego games are the epitome of couch co op! 👍😁 Great video Dudes! AND im really enjoying my Toadies Album! the 1st 3 songs are my favs!

It sucked at multiplayer but options back then for ps2 were very little, but I did enjoy the campaign- but not nearly as good as the orginal Halo. ✌🍻
Fantavision, it was the tech demo for the ps2. I’ve played hundreds of ps2 games since then. This is a pretty cool gestures so kudos to you guys. I would love to have Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles, I have quite the Naruto collection but not that one. BTW, there are rumors that the ps5 will be backwards compatible with all others PlayStations. The first ps2 game I’ve played was the Simpsons 2 in 1 game the Simpsons skateboarding (god regret playing that) and the Simpsons road rage haha fun game, so far I’ve been collecting some awesome ps2 games just wish some gamers can take good care of them cause it’s somewhat difficult to find a good working copy. First PS2 game I ever played was GTA, as I remember battlestar Galactica was a decent shooter. I went through my shelves a while back, removed every copy of FIFA.
Hey guys, I don't know if you have any left, but I would be interested in any of those. I have a lot of sports games though. If you have gifted them already, that's cool. It was cool to see your PS2 collection. Often times, you see RUclips personalities with massive collections. It's refreshing to see your collection.
Do yourself a favor... Get Unreal Tournament on PS2 or Dreamcast. If you like split screen FPS games you have to have the Unreal games. Then you can get the PS3 Unreal as well. Also, Unreal games on the OG Xbox.

Question for you guys; In the case of Grandtheft auto since they play look/better on the Xbox do you keep the lesser version if so why if it just takes up space not judging just asking. Also with jak and daxter the PS2 version it’s on PS3 in the HD collection looks and plays better is there any point in keeping the original? These are just two examples but there are several others like Devil May cry collection is on the new systems do you still hold on to the originals? I struggle with it myself but ultimately get rid of them if I can get a good price for them. Also mercenaries‘s is a great game but it’s also backwards compatible on the series X and looks amazing. Ps - Red Faction 2 on Series X. Wow.
Great question. We actually went through the game room in a vid awhile back and got rid of a lot of doubles (cross platform). In the case of Jak I’ll get rid of them if I find the HD collection as an example. Some games like GTA Vice for example I’ll keep my PS2 version over any due to still having my original save file. But short story long, we try not having the same game on various consoles when we can for sure. Cheers!

A good list of games to purge, the only one I'd be interested in would be Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles, since I love the anime series (which is over 740 episodes long - and I'm finally getting near the end of it!). I'm totally the opposite, guys. I have games from when I was just a wee child. No seriously, I still own games that I got for Christmas and B-days when I was a kid. I've never played the Battlestar Galactica game, but I want to because I'm quite a fan of that franchise. Black is a great game, though I preferred it on the OG Xbox. Did you two know that Dino Stalker is part of the Dino Crisis series? I don't know if you guys have ever played Dino Crisis 1 or 2, think of Resident evil but with dinosaurs. Oh damn, I didn't even know Gradius and R-type made it into the 6th Generation. Probably because even though I'm pretty good at space-shooters, I don't own that many. Most of the games you two also mentioned I've either played, own, or rented back in the past. Especially Red Faction 1 and 2. Those are among my favorite FPS games. Cheers gentlemen =). Either SpongeBob SquarePants: Revenge of the Flying Dutchman which was my first Game Boy Advance game that was my starter for my red SP. Or Street Fighter anniversary collection which has the best of the best the cream of the crop 3rd Strike Street Fighter 3: Fight for the Future & Hyper Street Fighter 2 the anniversary edition plus you get the animated movie of Street Fighter 2. Best fighter game my friends always talk about is Dragon Ball Z Budokai. If nobody claim Yu-Gi-Oh I'll take off in the graveyard of your hands

Killzone wasent a Co Op shooter on the PS2. But IMO, was one of the better single player FPS on the PS2.... LOL i wouldn't purge anything , they hardly take up any shelf space and arent worth much, However, if you're giving them away, thats a nice touch.... Lego games are the epitome of couch co op! 👍😁 Great video Dudes! AND im really enjoying my Toadies Album! the 1st 3 songs are my favs!

It sucked at multiplayer but options back then for ps2 were very little, but I did enjoy the campaign- but not nearly as good as the orginal Halo. ✌🍻
Fantavision, it was the tech demo for the ps2. I’ve played hundreds of ps2 games since then. This is a pretty cool gestures so kudos to you guys. I would love to have Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles, I have quite the Naruto collection but not that one. BTW, there are rumors that the ps5 will be backwards compatible with all others PlayStations. The first ps2 game I’ve played was the Simpsons 2 in 1 game the Simpsons skateboarding (god regret playing that) and the Simpsons road rage haha fun game, so far I’ve been collecting some awesome ps2 games just wish some gamers can take good care of them cause it’s somewhat difficult to find a good working copy. Awesome video you two!!!

First PS2 game I ever played was GTA, as I remember battlestar Galactica was a decent shooter.
I went through my shelves a while back, removed every copy of FIFA.

Do yourself a favor... Get Unreal Tournament on PS2 or Dreamcast. If you like split screen FPS games you have to have the Unreal games. Then you can get the PS3 Unreal as well. Also, Unreal games on the OG Xbox.

Question for you guys;
In the case of Grandtheft auto since they play look/better on the Xbox do you keep the lesser version if so why if it just takes up space not judging just asking.
Also with jak and daxter the PS2 version it’s on PS3 in the HD collection looks and plays better is there any point in keeping the original? These are just two examples but there are several others like Devil May cry collection is on the new systems do you still hold on to the originals? I struggle with it myself but ultimately get rid of them if I can get a good price for them.
Also mercenaries‘s is a great game but it’s also backwards compatible on the series X and looks amazing.

Great question. We actually went through the game room in a vid awhile back and got rid of a lot of doubles (cross platform). In the case of Jak I’ll get rid of them if I find the HD collection as an example. Some games like GTA Vice for example I’ll keep my PS2 version over any due to still having my original save file. But short story long, we try not having the same game on various consoles when we can for sure. Cheers!

I'm totally the opposite, guys. I have games from when I was just a wee child. No seriously, I still own games that I got for Christmas and B-days when I was a kid. I've never played the Battlestar Galactica game, but I want to because I'm quite a fan of that franchise. Black is a great game, though I preferred it on the OG Xbox. Did you two know that Dino Stalker is part of the Dino Crisis series? I don't know if you guys have ever played Dino Crisis 1 or 2, think of Resident evil but with dinosaurs. Oh damn, I didn't even know Gradius and R-type made it into the 6th Generation. Probably because even though I'm pretty good at space-shooters, I don't own that many. Most of the games you two also mentioned I've either played, own, or rented back in the past. Especially Red Faction 1 and 2. Those are among my favorite FPS games.

Or Street Fighter anniversary collection which has the best of the best the cream of the crop 3rd Strike Street Fighter 3: Fight for the Future & Hyper Street Fighter 2 the anniversary edition plus you get the animated movie of Street Fighter 2. Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater will always be my personal favorite. Metal Gear has a crazy convoluted story, but that gameplay in 3 was amazing.
If you can, find Red Card Soccer. It's a bad soccer game , if you compare it to PES of course, but it's basically soccer with no referee ( or a very blind onw ) ... you know where this is going, right? XD It's 1 vs 1 fun.
Also, where's the point in Yugioh videogame? Not spending shittons of money buying cards, you have all cards in the game itself. :P
