I grew up on the PS2 rather than the GameCube, but my cousins had the console, and it got a good amount of play time over the years. I remember playing lots of Mario Party 4, Super Monkey Ball, and Super Mario Sunshine whenever I visited. To this day, I still consider Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door as one of the best RPG games of all time! You’ve got a pretty neat collection of GameCube games there, Matt, many of which I’ve never seen before.

FZeroGX is literally the best racing game ever. You can make any combination of vehicle you want, color it how you want, and fit it your play style. Awesome levels, and courses too. Interesting gameplay too. Nothing tops it.
Matt I don't know if you have pit your gamecube away or if it stays out all the time but you have to have to have to hunt down eternal darkness and play it. Absolutely one of the best game cube games ever made I promise based on what you have talked about here that you will like this game

Matt, if you dig F-Zero, I'd give Redout a try. It's on Steam and goes down a decent bit during sales and it's as close as we're gonna get to a modern day F-Zero until Nintendo gives us a reboot. Which is about as likely as a new Star Fox game.

I know this is a quite unpopular opinion but I actually liked Metroid Prime 2 better, it may have been a little bloated/ unnecessarily long but I though it was just a more polished smoother experience. Don’t remember too much about either story...
Does this count as child friendly in the eyes of COPPA law? I mean there is video games here... But the gamecube is older than all children that coppa protects so is it even for kids? I mean the game cube in humam years is old enough to be a legal adult (18) as it did come out in 2001. I feel old now.... XD
I haven’t read a ton about COPPA, but as far as I can tell, it only requires creators to identify videos made specifically for children (or in some cases, videos that inadvertently attract children more than other age groups). My target audience is definitely not children, and though video games are often enjoyed by children, I don’t think they’re going to be the primary audience for this and the topic certainly isn’t of interest only to them. I’m not too worried, but I’m hoping COPPA doesn’t end up punishing people who legitimately aren’t trying to make children’s content, because I think it would be absurd for an agency to tell creators what their own intentions are - and to fine them if they somehow disagree. It’d be like someone telling you they know your thoughts better than you do - a fundamentally absurd claim. Those are my brief thoughts on it. :P

One of the factors for it even had a thing saying if your video used kid styled lingo like "fun" , "toys" , " games" , "whatever" , "duh" , ect then it counted as a kids video. My original comment wasnt meant to be taken seriously, it was kind of meant as a stupid meme for some of the comment readers who are very much at risk or scared of their own videos or people who they love to watch, possibly being affected by COPPA. I didn't know id get a response on this but I'm glad I did. It's cool getting to hear an ASMaRtist's opinion or perspective on the matter as it doesn't really affect them as content creators. It would more affect them as RUclips viewers depending on their preferred content of choice. I'm sure 80% + of ASMR channels will be fine in the long run. I do agree with you in the fact that it would be absurd if they thought they knew your intentions better than yourself.
