Great video BUT the longest war you've mentioned around 7:00 was between the Netherlands and the Isles of Scilly, not Sicily. Scilly is an archipelago off the coast of England, whereas Sicily is a large island in Italy, southwest from the main Peninsular.

It has never been officially confirmed that Caligula in fact made his horse a senator or consul. The most credible explanation for it would be the misinterpretation of a scribe’s notes during the gathering of the Senate, with Caligula exclaiming to a senator that he could appoint his horse a senator and it would do a better job than him. Though, again, he could’ve totally been a nutjob.
The knocker-uppers thing isn't quite accurate. They were hired by the factory/mine owner (Who had also usually paid for the construction of the houses that the employees lived in) to knock on workers windows. So they weren't waking up the client, they were waking up the client's other employees and were most likely one of the most disliked people in town.
