A completely random fact I found out relating to Darkest Dungeon is that the reason you can possibly die from horror, as seen as the characters who die from extreme stress, is that your body could generate excessive amounts of adrenaline to a lethal amount, causing the heart attack.

Thing is, killing everyone is a valid stratagy
So basically he's going to lose 90% of his roster due to deliberately looking for astral horrors, then in the last 20 minutes of a stream he's going to casually flawless the Darkest Dungeon while making silly decisions?

I recently started playing Darkest Dungeon. This’ll be a great guide for what not to do! Thanks RT!
Don't skip on food or shovels, you neither want to find yourself foodless on a hunger check, nor in a level with the only way being blocked and yourself out of shovels.
Do not rely on a 66,6% chance of not dying, always assume a hero that is on deaths door will die if you do nothing and act accordingly.
Do not visit the wiki. On your first playthrough, discovering and figuring everything out is half the fun, fun you rob yourself of by opening that wiki page and instantly knowing what works and what doesn't.
And lastly, don't forget that overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer
Biggest tip I've learned is it's just like a Pokemon Nuzlocke: Don't get too attached to your heroes, because even that one character you put all your best stuff on will probably die eventually. Don't be afraid to sacrifice a hero to save the rest of the team if the situation calls for it, because there will always be more heroes arriving in the Coach.
I wish George made it on to one of the parties. His power level is immeasurable in the Seinfeld anime.
Elaine is underrated as well. Her dancing alone could incapacitate the enemy with laughter

Fun fact: If you keep their contract in mind, you can't kill ANY of the cast of Friends. The biggest stars of the show negotiated contracts that protected the rest of the cast too. A bunch of weird plot decisions were made because the entire cast was protected by contract.

Bringing Phoebe to the Warrens when she gets more stress AND everything has blight resist is a bold play Mr. Game
The creepypasta sound like a normal RT stream, so it makes sense why they didn't think to much of it.

As someone whose lost Houndmaster Shaggy, Crusader Reynolds, Jester Beans, and whole load of other characters to this game, this is very accurate

I tried this game once before but got two intimidated and left but seeing dan play it has actually gotten me to try it again.
this is one of my favorite games, but it does require a lot of patience and perseverance
Its actually a bit daunting but that's the fun part

Oh god that chatter is right! I don't want to say ruined, but that has definitely changed this game for me.
I just noticed that RT went this whole video without once telling us he used to be called the Drift King in college, I didn't think much of it at the time.
As an Ohio native I find it very impressive the devs used real world locations in Ohio for the games locations!
0:35 he tells you to come home and save the house from the evil stuff and whatever. Mfer could've done it himself instead of pawning off the job on us by killing himself, the selfish prick!

it becomes clear as you play the game that doming himself in a fit of sanity was probably the nicest thing the Ancestor had done in a couple of decades
for perspective we are talking about a guy whose reaction to seeing a hot lady trying to get him alone was to plan to murder her out of boredom, then make wine out of her blood and serve it to his guests at his next party, and that was BEFORE he started worshipping the hell-mouth on his property.

As someone who has never watched any of the sitcoms referenced in this video - never even heard of the Father Ted one - this was an interesting one to watch.
I bought this game after watching RT's stream. I've sunk over a hundred hours into it and I'm finally about to challenge the Darkest Dungeon. I can't recommend it enough, and I hope RT plays DD again.

dd is one of my favorite games of all time I would love to see a full play through of this! I also know there is a VERY active moving community for this which could be a nice touch for perhaps changing skins to be sitcom characters

Ah yes, the only game on the market that gives you a feeling of excitement, accomplishment and victory and not even a minute later anxiety, depression and hopelessness. And you WILL love the pain.
Oh man, I can't believe the Friends reunion special finally happened! I was a bit skeptical at first when I found out they were going to Ohio, but the decision provided a much needed tone shift that made the plot seem much more current.
RT started Playing Darkest Dungeon on stream. I didn't think much of it at the time, but it grew to be one of my favorite series on the channel
Ok this is no joke the other night I dreamt that I was watching one of Daniel's videos, and in the dream video, he was playing a multiplayer game with a bunch of other people. One of them remarked how Daniel had been a "good sport" about the previous game, and then there was a smash cut to like just him, like actual him, dead on the floor
And then it cut back to the game and they all started laughing jovially and joking about it but I was sitting there watching the dream video like "I'm sorry WHAT" like the dream logic of "Everything kinda makes sense until you wake up" was out the door I was perturbed
this game is so confusing to me but Dad makes it bearable
Dan kept making references to sitcoms, I didn't think much of it at the time...
I wonder what other characters from the sitcom multiverse would arrive in Ohio. Maybe Scooby Doo and Shrek, but who knows. This is the most ambitious crossover event of all time.
One time I made the Mystery gang from Scooby Doo in Darkest Dungeon.
Shaggy was the only survivor. But I did get Fred back thanks to the Beyond the Grave event.

The first time I ever played DD, I lost Dismas in the Tutorial (and was very confused to discover that he's a bit of a Name in the fandom)
The last time I played, the Collector came to visit my team of rookies in a baby dungeon in the first room, immediately after starting the game. Truly an incredible game.
I want more of this, I want this to be a Series and I need it to have the ALways Sunny cast in it with RT doing a Danny Devito impression!

Love to see darkest dungeon on this channel, i remember the first playthrough of DD on twitch from years ago. I think I got a jester named after me in that one. Please keep up this series to reach the darkest dungeon. I bought this game cause of that original stream and now have 300 hours in the game (and still cant beat the damn thing).

for future reference, The chest in the tutorial combat will always be trapped. the only way to get anything from it is if you get a key as a drop after winning the tutorial round.
I have never once watched friends but RT has good humor and he's got brain and man's just got great content
