42:37 is sublime. I really wish some of these more subtle melodies and ambient tracks made their way to the Spotify album. I haven't been blown away by the Shadowlands OST but this Zereth Mortis stuff is so unique to me that it gets an easy pass. I really hope we get to see more of the Brokers in the future. I don't think any other WoW race pushes the music in such a fresh thematic direction. (I also like the mysterious and sinister sound at 48:40)
Well, I have seen all past expansions and I am an admirer of wow OSTs but this one.. not very much. This one is moderate and does not get supported by rich lore.
the music for this zone is like Maldraxxus' in the sense that it's, well- like actual background music. I always find something great to do in there, always have fun with my friends, met new ppl through this game and enjoyed my first taste of the endgame content (mm+/raid, as I've always been a casu gamer before). The music helps me to work when I don't play, and to relax when I don't feel good. I love wow, it's been part of my life for years now and I will enjoy it as long as I can.
Damn, the audio team knocked it out of the park on this one. I'm making assumptions here, but it feels like after having to design so much oppressive, dark ambience for the Maw & Torghast, they really exploded with creative energy going into the Zereth Mortis stuff. Absolutely stunning work.

Only two tracks in Dragonflight's ever caught my attention (Aberrus and Iridikron's theme), whereas in SL its *every* zone except Korthia. @@Meisio (even) more ambient tracks are good enough for me :D
All kinds of music can be useful. Well, almost all, and depends on what each song conveys and what's its real goal (some are "useful" only for keeping ppl shallow simpletons, but that's mostly about lyrics I guess).
dont like the music, the vanilla ost was and is the best, blizz should pay more money for a good soundtrack. disappointing, but it was my bad to expect anything else. 0/10
Nah man WoD OST is the best
@@Arcing705 no it was not, end of discussion :)
didn't play wlod much, ill give that a try!
get fking over it dude, vanilla music is not best unless you think orcs grunting and chanting while blasting drums aka ORGR music = GOOD. this is much better and OG composer glenn stafford is still in this
@@soppa112 i actually do. :)
