95 percent of us use rattle can and laugh at the cerakote people because we can do our guns ourselves and touch ups for the cost of 3 to 4 cans of paint. Preferably the good stuff. We can do multiple guns quite a few with one purchase of paint. They look great and all the devgru and delta guys even use paint. Excellent paint job Mike.
Well I've heard others do it in order of lightest color first to darkest color last before because the lighter color is less able to bleed through. Of course in your doing it by how dominant you wanted it rather than br darkness you still did the lightest first and darkest last just maybe have the middle 2 backwards according to the other way, so still half-ass followed the other way.
@@iansmith5174yeah man because when you spray paint a firearm when you shoot it it magically turns into mustard gas and will kill you instantly..... 😂
Nothing wrong with rattle canning something that's not like a historical collectors price and doesn't already have a nice finish. I've rattlecanned my muzzle loader and bow before
I mean even if you didn't care about the matching, keeping the mag in acts to keep paint out of the mag well so I doesn't hurt either. Like your content man, just doing whatever because you can. Love the silly pencil thing lately
I’m definitely gonna come back to this video and shamelessly copy what you did here when I want a woodland AR-10. Surprised by how well it turned out in the end. Good video Mike!
@@rebeccaback3287what he means is it isn’t good to mess with a historical piece like the M44 Mosin Nagant. Don’t bubba it, leave it alone. If you have the urge to customize a rifle buy a cheap AR or 10/22
average cerakote fan vs average rattlecan enjoyer
It's a pretty funny little coincidence that the silhouette of your rifle crossed over on itself looks like the loading icon for Far Cry 3.

Agreed.
The paint job makes it kinda looks like the guns that would be used by the green army men toys. Which i dig actually not gonna lie.
I rattled mine, looks good ! and if it wears off just add more 🤷🏼♂️
Looks great bro.
Appreciate it
The wear-effect over time from surface rubbing also adds that 'been-there-done-that' look of mystery as well.
Yep, and if it gets too bad, it takes a whopping 5 minutes and 25 cents worth of paint to make it look spiffy again.
Looks good, I have one more to hit this year
Hell I like it! Think I’ll do one of mine!

Yep. It turned out and that's what I'm happy with lol.
I love rattle can
Now you just need a happy little M203 to go with it!
Hated carrying that clunky bitch, so nope :)
Nice. I made a couple of stencils out of some thin cardboard. Just a couple of blob shapes, but I've gotten a reasonable looking M81 pattern.
My question is, when the gun gets hot from firing will that cause you to inhale the paint fumes?
Jesus fucking Christ......
@@MikeB128 I've never spray painted a gun before so I genuinely have no idea.

Lol.
You inhale vaporized lead and carbon everytime you fire the weapon.
Its fine man i paint every AR i get , one with 3300 rounds and still going strong @@iansmith5174

Hey Mike! What’s your rear sight?
NCstar A2. Love them so much. Cheap, built tough, and holds zero well.
@@MikeB128 thank you brother!
now i got the sudden urge to rattlecan my own rifle

Which green paints did you use?
All of them.
Finally I get what a "paint gun" is - thanks Mike! 😆
👍👍👍👍👍👍🏆🏆 tuyệt lắm

Looks awesome, I Cerakote most of mine but i love painted rifles too.
Do desert
I don’t live in a desert…
Looks good. Makes me want to go paint some more guns.
The MFT mags are amazing. I wish I had more
Excellent job Mike! I would say this would work on my Mosén Nagett Model 44. David Back.
Don't be a boomer your whole life......
You don't need to be so condensing. You don't know how to take a compliment or give on. David Back.@@MikeB128

A true art? Lol knock it off
Sarcasm is like food in a communist country: You either get it, or you don't.
Guy in the chair approved 👌, it's the way of the road gun.
Pretty nice, might look into that whenever I get a new one
