As I stated in the video, the quality of the paint I advertise is significantly higher that what you find at the store. Additionally, it is hard to find the exact colors needed to do this particular camo job, but this brand matches the colors perfectly. It is WELL worth the $75. And they give a military discount for those who served.
Honestly i think that paint is either hot garbage or perhaps wasnt applied properly. Not talking shit about u or anything but still oily means poor adhesive normally. Taking a rag and rubbing down your paint job will help with sticking. While i do think a songle thin layer of clear is ok it also does increase the shine which isnt ideal 3 coats and man the shine on that will stick out. Good job for the pattern though next time go with BCM upper 😂
Good comment. I really don't know much about paint quality except for the price lol. I did not like how sticky it was after completing the layers, which is why I clear coated it. Maybe I just should have let it cure for several days to see if it firmed up....idk. I understand it shines, but I don't have a problem with that. I really don't climb around in the jungle much. And, I do love Aero Precision so I like to match the upper and lower with the same brand. I will need to check out BCM. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Instead of spending so much on the stencils, just go buy some jig saw puzzles. Of course it will not have the exact look of woodland camouflage, but if that is not important, use the puzzles.

@@righteousriverfishinginoregon7 it came out looking really good. Any plans on doing the rail for it?
@@Nocte_Stalker thank you. No because I used an old school polymar m4 rail that didn't need to be painted. However, this would look cool on a nice handguard!
I have asked quite a few folks why they painted their rifle. I got a lot of I don't knows and a few 'cause it looks cool. No real reasons.
@@dw7094 well you didn't ask me, but I'll tell you anyway. Because it's fun and cool. 😎
It had fingerprints because you were impatient letting it dry.
@@Youdoneedmyname thank you doctor paint. I don't really care because it came out exactly like I wanted it to.
Soooo, you spent days camouflaging your AR with paint...all so you could apply a glossier clearcoat to make it "pop?" 🤔
@@ajfoyt1163 I spent 1 full day, and yes, that's exactly what I did and I love it! Thanks for watching.
@@righteousriverfishinginoregon7 fair enough bro 😁🤙🏻 it's all about enjoying the journey
@@ajfoyt1163 Yes it is! I am always prepared for combat, but also enjoy creativity. I appreciate your perspective and chill attitude
@@righteousriverfishinginoregon7 likewise, my dude 😎 and that's good to hear, because it's starting to look like we may need every swingin' dick on deck before too long 😂❤️🇺🇲
If you do this in a pistol you can't tell me you won't scratch and start peeling and putting it in a holster all the time
You're probably right. It might not be the best solution for your EDC, but who needs to camouflage an EDC anyway. It's not for show and tell, it's to have the element of surprise. This method does have its place and purpose and it's really cool. Thanks for commenting.
Should have not painted black over the Aero logo
I didn't. If you watched the video you would have noticed that I masked it off.
BDU isn't a camo pattern. Battle Dress Uniforms come in a variety of colors/patterns.
I do appreciate the video, but I'm not a fan of the end result. But who cares as long as you like it.
You are correct and pay great attention to details so I assume you must have been in the military like I was. I updated the video title to say BDU M81 Camo which I hope will make you a bit more accepting of my work. And yes, I do love it. It's bad ass. Take care my fellow comrad in arms. www.freedomstencils.com/products/bdu-camouflage-stencil-kit?variant=42089728330¤cy=USD&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiA2KitBhCIARIsAPPMEhJ5Ujz7oHs5jWs1VbX5IPSEwwZ9gcrJhnAAL3tnwcpUHtY6aIuRmwEaAqK-EALw_wcB
@righteousriverfishinginoregon7 Not military, just a dirty civilian nerd lol. Thank you for your service!
$75 bucks for 4 cans of spray paint is insane 😂😂 real ones use Rust-Oleum camo spray paint. Less than 30 bucks for the same number of cans.
As I stated in the video, the quality of the paint I advertise is significantly higher that what you find at the store. Additionally, it is hard to find the exact colors needed to do this particular camo job, but this brand matches the colors perfectly. It is WELL worth the $75. And they give a military discount for those who served.
Great job just not a fan of the pattern/colors
No problem. I love these colors because they were on the uniform I wore in the service. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@righteousriverfishinginoregon7 fair enough!
@@paultoth7853 it is obviously important for my build to look exactly like the camo pattern in this video. It is exactly the pattern I used to wear while active duty. I'm not complaining about the price. I'm content with this build and the paint job. Thanks for the recommendation.
This isn't airsoft and I don't think he wants his rifle to look like a kid made it 😂
I got lucky and served also with this wonderful camo pattern. Also DCU. Dodged the ACU pattern.
You lost me when you tapped off the logo. Smh
That's fine by me. I'm not hiding in a jungle these days and i love Aero Precision so that's what I wanted, and I love it.
No thanks...looks shitty
Good thing I don't measure my success on the opinion of others. I love it. You take care and thanks for watching.
@righteousriverfishinginoregon7 it looks good don't listen to the haters. They only hate when it's something they want to do but can't do it any better
You're awesome man!@@maclm826
Bro it looks awesome obviously guy has some issues belittling others to boast his own ego. You do you and that's all that matters.
Looks good but dude it’s a rifle!! It’s not to be looked at it’s to do it’s duty
They can do both. I'm sure you wouldn't argue that's it's not a bad idea to have one more piece lying around your house. Thanks for watching.
@@righteousriverfishinginoregon7
as ever house hold should have. You don’t train with your rifle do you? I don’t mean target practice
@highonbusa6520 your crazy man. This is not the place to have this discussion. You take care of your safety and I'll take care of mine. Trust me, I'm good. Thanks for your concern.
