  • Do you think one story can combine ships, military jets, banking, Jackie Chan, racing, and three diamonds? Easily! Even though a list of words seems like gibberish and incoherent set of words...
In fact, all these words make important parts of origin and development history of a famous Japanese company -Mitsubishi Group. So, let’s discuss it in detail!
Almost everybody in the world knows or has heard about Mitsubishi and the first thing that comes to mind are cars. You are absolutely right! The company created a legendary Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, a racing car that collected multiple awards in different races and became a legend. Now it is time to ask a question: "What is a connection between Jackie Chan and Mitsubishi?" It is not a mistake. Do not worry, I will explain you that Mitsubishi Motors had a long-standing advertising contract with action star Jackie Chan. Next time you want to drink a bottle of beer and watch an old Jackie Chan movie, pay attention to the car brands on the screen. What you will see will remind you of our story. For example, the film "Cannonball Racing 2" stars Mitsubishi in the leading role. Ok, let’s go back to the history of the company.
And ships, and jets, and everything else have a connection and an explanation, believe me. Here, we present an interesting and detailed story for you to learn the story of the Japanese giant Mitsubishi Group, a consortium of independent Japanese companies in all kinds of industries. Except space flights. But wait... Holy cow! IN 2020 Mitsubishi Electric decided to to expand the space system business and build a new plant for satellites. Well done! Apparently, Mitsubishi Group can do anything they want… Let's take a closer look at what they are, Mitsubishi...

look at the A6M2 Zero, its not a pure japanese plane to start with. It was a british concept sold to the Iwasakis as the british company needed funding for their aircraft industry. Take note that such concept gave allies a nightmare in WWII. and the british didi it again withe russians Mikoyan as Rolls Royce gave one jet engine to Mikoyan who founded Mig Design Group that gave allies another nightmare until now. . As for the Iwasaki, they can buy anything or anyone today

Mitsubishi, one of the companies who was into just about everything, Ships,WW2 Zero planes, Electronics division madevTV ,Stereos , projection TVs, 37"tube TVs ,VCRs, Split type AC,Induction cooker hotcakes, Electronic Bidets, Banking and Finance, Bulldozers and Earthmovers, Duesel Buses and Trucks, Minivans.
The Japanese giants like Mitsubishi, Hitachi and Panasonic now have competion , the SKorean giants are LG(formerly Goldstar)and Samsung and Hyundai. China is on the rise and probably will or have eclipsed Japan as a manufacturing giant, just about everything you buy are MIC, as in Made in China .Oh , I used to work for Mitsubishi Electric , in Canada,in the 80s and at that time we were setting up Mitsubishi factories in China.

I always liked their military industry (post-war) producing my all time favorite military vehicles from Mitsubishi after all:
T-2, F-1, F-2, Type 74, Type 10 and some licensed produced aircraft like the American F-4Es and F-15s for the use of the Self-Defense Forces.
Also I'd like to point out that the aircraft you mentioned, the F1M and the A6M belongs to the IJN (Imperial Japanese Navy) not the IJA. Also said aircraft are not JETS. They're propeller aircraft.
