I bought one just like this for my wife for her birthday and our anniversary (same day) and we absolutely love it. We've had Mercedes, Chevy's, GMC, Subaru, Hyundai, Jeep, Nissan and a few more. All were in the upper levels of each make and model. This is our first Mitsubishi but it the third in our family. Both of those other cars have been just fine. Our niece's is now going on 30 years and just won't die.
Great to hear when people love the ride, especially when they've already driven so many! 30 years and counting.. wow.. I'm actually really impressed haha
I'm in the U.S. I bought the 2023 Outlander SE, not the fully loaded one you have there, but still nice. I've actually learned something from your presentation. Thank you.
@CarsWithSteve I bought an SE model back in March, and I'm the first person in my family to buy a brand new car. I LOVE my car!! I am jealous of the features in the higher end models, especially the sun roof, but nonetheless this car is amazing and every time I show it to friends and family they are super impressed.
@@CarsWithSteve yes,i have the regular gas engine still trying to figure out the whistles and bells tho, thats why i need to watch your video again and again😄.
Hi very good video you present , I like the outlander very much , I have the 2023 outlander ES base model and am happy with it , BUT with all the videos I saw , nobody talks about NO spare tire and rim and jack ?? why ?? I know it is a negative point , but the public should know about it in the presentations , the tire sealer and air compressor is just not enough if you get a blow out or a bad cut in the tire , I know towing is covered in the warranty , but how long you may wait on the side of the road for a tow truck ? god knows , did some research and found out that any spare tire and rim of a Rogue 2009 to 2015 will fit the Outlander , bolt pattern 144.3 m x 5 and hub center or center bore 61.0 mm hope this will help others , great video my friend and love my outlander !
Thank you and glad that you're enjoying yours so far. I briefly mentioned that there's just the inflator kit and I had a comment somewhere that talks about the option for a spare using one from another car too. But thanks for pointing out the bolt pattern and size for people that are wondering
Hi Steve, I watched your Hyundai Palisade review and started to love that car and now Mitsubishi Outlander. I appreciate your attention to detail and great explanation of each and every part of the car. Your reviews are REALLY , REALLY NICE :)
You ask for comments. We just bought the SE, and it don't have all the goodies you show. But, as for what it does have, we love it. Our previous was the 2014 SE and for all the "goodies", we never had any fail. So, I would think that Mitsubishi for quality is about as high as you can get. And that 4 cyl engine is "bullet proof". Why? Because they give you that 100,000 warranty on it. Would the SEL been better? Yes. But cost more. Thanks for the detailed review.
@@CarsWithSteve Lower trim is ES. The SE in middle, and the SEL is better. But the PHEV is tops. ?? I generally choose the middle. My main concern is safety. And the SE has what is needed. A sun roof is luxury.
I love this vehicle. Not comparing it to any Lexus in terms of what's under the metal, but I definitely prefer the look of the Outlander. I see them all over, and they always seem to accelerate just fine no matter if it's a highway or around town. 0-60 in 8-ish seconds with excellent MPGs vs 0-60 in 6-ish seconds with HALF of those MPGs is simply a personal preference.
@Peter I'd love to drive one hard and to try out the S-AWC and how it handles body roll. I keep hearing great things from owners that I run into whenever I see one
There is a warranty repair available for the flutter for vehicles that are affected. With Mitsubishi now aware of the issue I'm assuming the fix was done for newer units
It's a very small drop to make it happen. When you're in reverse, lightly lower the shifter knob for a second and hold it there. Works the opposite way from drive to neutral. There's an oddly fine line between getting into neutral and accidentally moving into the other gear
I just watched your 2022 review of this model and don't see much difference for the 2023 presentation .... lots of 'clip' reuse from the former video. What I am interested in the GT vs Premium differences. Typically dealers say that only the Trim gets the Orange highlight and Massage seats are added. Did you find anything else that adds or changes in the Premium; and did you review the value of the massage seats. It seems to me that if you pass on the massage seats, one doesn't lose anything else and saves $600. While most dealers told us that the only trim package with two tone interior treatment is the Premium; they unjustly discount the White & Grey in the GT interiors.
I tend to do short and long versions for people who want all the tech info vs just the basics on the car ;) There are a lot of manufacturers that have weird quirks about what options are able to be bundled together. Massage seats are a luxury for sure so you could realistically skip it and probably wouldn't miss it. Having a massage stuck in traffic is pretty nice though haha I'm working on getting set up to shoot a 2024 so when that happens I'll outline more differences in the trim levels
Hey Sunjib! I have some of those on my radar for the coming months. I've had a number of people asking for some of those brands too.. just a matter of connecting with dealers who have the inventory available to shoot!

You do such a great job in thoroughly explaining the car. 2nd video I've watched with you. Taught me a few new things

When you test drive the 2.5 l, make sure you try it in tarmac mode. Not as lethargic as reported

Little mistake it's actually 38 miles, or around 61 km electric range!
Oh good catch! Thanks for pointing that out
Any idea if the initial issues got fixed..hood flutter, some screen issues that were reported..

Can you go through the control s

I have the 2020 outlander sport. I’m having. Issues with touch screen 📺
That’s a beautiful vehicle , I see them all over my area
Where is the spare tire
No spare standard in this unfortunately. You'd have to do something aftermarket and then remove the rear storage tray
Do not forget he is 6 feet tall...
Never forget it

Ласкаво просимо! Успіхів у пошуках L200. Ми не отримуємо таку вантажівку в Північній Америці
Also the shocks not smooth at all
Interesting. Still haven't had the chance to test drive one yet but I'll pay attention to that when I do
I had zero issues with the shocks when I was test driving one today.
Very bumpy ride
I took one out for a test drive today and it felt smooth as butter...
Actually very smooth with minimum road noise
@@andrelouis9422I own one. SEL/Touring. Depends on your package and the mode you’re in.

Yeah the Murano spare trick is a great one to use, lot of manufacturers deciding to include just an inflator kit now instead
@@CarsWithSteve Anyone know if the inflator kit actually works?
