Bought 2024 in January, traded my 2017 and what an upgrade, I have SE model with 20" wheels, panoramic moonroof, drives fantastic and looks great, very comfortable. I bought White Diamond finish and it's very unique, gives a different shading depending on sunlight, beautiful style, just love it, mine was MSRP of $38,000 but I think we'll worth the $ to buy an Explorer with same features you'll be $10,000 less expensive and you see tons of Explorer's on the road, the Outlander is unique and would recommend to anyone!!!
We just purchased the 2024 Outlander Pearl White / Blackout edition. It has a lot of features that Lexus has but comes standard and at 1/3rd the price. It is a luxurious car.
My wife and I bought one last week. Same color and trim level as reviewed here. Leather interior quality and seat comfort are great. The lack of 3rd row leg room isn't an issue as we didn't buy it for that. As far as posters complaining about the 2.5 power output, it more than does the job while being fuel efficient. If I need neck wrenching acceleration I'll take my Challenger R/T for a spin. All in all, a well engineered and quality fit and finished SUV that will more than meet our needs.
@goldpony Thanks. I had reservations about past quality at Mitsubishi. Your review is spot on for accuracy. Anyone looking for an SUV in this class should take a closer look at the Outlander.
Honestly the black edition is perfect and you didn’t mention that it comes with a app on your mobile phone to turn it on and off and all kinds of cool stuff but the mitsubishi outlander 2024 is a beauty ❤
I recently got a 2024 and love it...the only issue i have is acceleration which i find a little slow compared to my last vehicle...but this thing is nice and cant wait to take a trip in it
I'm not sure why mitsubishi gets hate and gets an unreliable reputation. I had a 2009 lancer, and the thing was bulletproof. Outside of breaks and normal maintenance, I had zero problems. Gifted it to my parents, and they drove it to 350k. I have a co-worker with an older lancer and about 350k on it and he commutes an hour to and from work each day and has been doing that for the 5 years I've worked with him and zero problems. A couple of other guys at work have the newer RVR and swear by them as well. My lancer was unstoppable in the snow, so I can only imagine how great this thing is. The outlander is on my short list of vehicles I may purchase when I need a new ride.
Okay, there is quite a list of cars I'd like to see you review, so here they are (Most of these will be offroad trims lol) 2023/24 Honda Pilot TrailSport 2023 Ford Explorer Timberline 2024 BMW X3 xDrive30i 2023 Ford Expedition Timberline 2024 Lincoln Corsair Standard 2023 Cadillac Escalade Luxury (hopefully it ain't too expensive for you) 2024 Alfa Romeo Tonale Veloce/Dodge Hornet GT *+* 2024 Kia Sportage SX-Pro (if you already did the Sportage, do the Sorento) 2024 BMW 3 Series xDrive 2023 Kia Rio S 2023 Porsche Macan Base 2024 Subaru Legacy Touring XT 2024 Acura *Ardex* A-Spec And that's it.
This was super helpful and detailed, thanks man! My lease is up in like 2 weeks for my 22 Kia Sportage and I want another SUV, but no idea where I want to go. Was looking at this because I've been a Mitsubishi fan boy since I was like 11 but never had one lol, thought maybe it was time.
Great review. I bought a new red 2024 SEL (fully loaded with even dynamic Shield lighting.) I love it and especially the quality interior and the heads up display and folding mirrors. Thanks
Great review we own one and the seats are amazing no issues with it bought in 2022 we were going to trade in for the phev but 2 dealers closed near us so hard to find a place to service it … too bad it’s a great SUV looks and drive.
I love the front end, love all the things found standard on the SE trim (such as adaptive cruise, blind spot, pwr seat and tailgate, even pwr folding mirrors, 360 camera, navigation). I like that they don't force the sunroof on the SE trim, and the fantastic standard warranty. What I hate are the 20 inch tires (feel every road imperfection) . I need to go drive an ES to see if I can live with those wheels/tires. Wish the SE came with 235/60-18 inch wheels/tires like the base ES trim. The 3rd row seats are really a joke, maybe in a pinch you can put some small kids back there if you had to.
This looks nice and actually trying to work with a dealer on the SE. I don’t like that this vehicle does not have a spare tire but offer roadside assistance. What happens if you break down in the middle of nowhere? Lol.
Seriously it needs that third row seat gone, a spare tire installed and a new carpeted deck. You’ll get more useable rear storage and peace of mind for long trips with a spare. Then it needs a turbo 4 cylinder on the 2025 redesign. It’s too underpowered- and that’s being polite.
After watching alot of your videos we purchased the 2024 outlander, looks and drives awesome! Dealer never offered us a 200k powertrain warranty though. Any thoughts on rustproofing this vehicle plan on keeping it a long time. Thanks for all the videos!
READ BEFORE YOU BUY! When it comes to the the mi pilot assist. You have to have it in cruise for it to activate and keep you centered. Then everytime you switch lanes via turn signal it will beep at you when you enter the other lane and it locks on to the lines again. So left turn signal, switch lanes, locks on with green steering wheel lit... BEEP. Then pass the car and go back to the right lane, locks on.... BEEP. No where to turn that off and super annoying with no volume control either. Also, when the Mi Pilot active you can't turn off the alarm for when you drift to a line on either side. This is usually the persons doing over the assist but it will give you a BEEP BEEP, BEEP BEEP when that happens and you can't turn that off either. So if those types of alarms bother you then this is not the car for you. I like my previous car which was a Hyundai and I could have the steer lane assist on all the time, cruise or no cruise and shut the annoying sounds off. I regret buying this car because of this...
Gold Pony needs to pin this comment. No way in hell would I buy this car after reading this comment by @cjschu. Surprised that such a feminine dude doing car videos. His voice and delivery is annoying as phuck.

TLDR - If lane assist alert beeps that you cant turn off is triggering to you, this car ain't for you.
If that suv had more power like all of its competition it would attract a lot more buyers. 181 horse power does not cut it in this segment anymore. Beef it up to 225 to 275 hp in the gas option
The wife has the 22 sel with the 2 toned leather huge moon roof. She loves it (makes me a happy camper to). Kinda looking at the 24 model but I don't see many changes only time will tell. Great video by the way thank you.
The sel touring package has homelink auto dimming and a lot more
