People making all these FWD comments.. they have an AWD version. Just got a brand new SE with the tech package, AWD, upgraded wheels.. and the dealership (High Point Mitsubishi in NC) upgraded my warranty to 20 years 200,000 miles. Little under $38,000 out the door. ❤
I got myself the 2022 SEL Trim model . And today 2024 I still love this SUV. No issues of any kind after almost three years Ownership and the price was right for what you get . Good Job Mitsubishi.
I have the 2023 outlander sel and it's really comfortable.. I rented 2023 nissan rogue and drove from Connecticut to Ohio ,12hrs respectively and I noticed both have pros and cons. The only part that nissan rogue wins over the outlander is the turbo. Apart from that, mitsubishi wins everything. Mitsubishi is very comfortable and spacious over the Rouge. If mitsubishi upgrades and add turbo, nobody will go for Rouge ,yet they share same platform.
Turbos tend to be less reliable though. What Mitsubishi should do is to make a hybrid powertrain, or ask Nissan to make an e-power system for bigger vehicles
The Turbo is not a PRO for the Rogue. Turbo engines are way less reliable than N/A engines. And, on a side note, I don't even want to get started on the Variable Compression Ratio that the rogue has... You made the right choice by going with the outlander. The only weak point this outlander has is the damn Jatco CVT.
@@P_double_H Assuming the Rogue and Outlander have the same CVT, it should be more reliable on the Outlander since it has to deal with less power and torque
Great job on this review! Like your reviewing style. Also, do we really need to drive so quickly, especially when there are officers everywhere (like what happened with you on this vid)? I'm sure the power is more than adequate. (And this coming from a driver of a 2017 Outlander GT with the V6 engine, which is a lot more powerful and quick than the numbers suggest.)
It seems like its a bit underpowered for the size and weight. Once you add passengers it might be sluggish getting up a hill. It looks nice but im not a fan of the CVT. Could also have added a 2.5l turbo. Thanks for the review.
Same here. Not a fan of CVTs at all. Coming from a 2013 Pathfinder and 2018 Note. On the Note, the tranny is fine because it's a much lighter car, but on the Pathfinder, since it's such a heavy SUV, the cvt takes forever to catch up. I saw the outlanders on the road and really want to love the car. The design is great, but omg why the CVT. Next generation Pathfinder has a 9 speed automatic. I was hoping that the Outlander would've taken that tranny instead.
The Platinum version of this has way better interior than the Rogue, the only thing I hate on the interior of this are the piano black plastics and also the infotainment system, but the design of the dashboard and the overall interior, the Outlander wins it, the new one basically has the new 12.3" on the Rogue and with ventilated seats which is a huge win over the Rogue, don't forget it also gets massaging front seats and a 12 speaker YAMAHA Ultimate Sound System which blows the Bose system on the Rogue. Don't forget the Outlander is fully built in Japan which is again another huge win for the Mitsu, although I love the 1.5 VCT on the Rogue and the faux wood trims.
the review is complete and the articulation is good in providing information to the public, good job👍🏻 Success Barakallah I like the review method ☺ So I automatically subscribe. I hate that in Latin America, this car comes without the letters in the hood of the car, I love the font used on the letters and I think I will need to get them from Amazon but I'm scared they will fall off as I'm not sure the glue will be strong enough to withstand car wash.
It's actually really handy, the CR-V, Rogue which is called the X-Trail outside north america and the Tiguan all have 3rd rows, people use them, if you don't want them you can just fold them down, north american units don't get spare donuts though, IDK why but they only get sealants.
Haha...Someone in an Outlander group on FB has a decal on his rear window: "0 - 60 Eventually." As long as you know what it can and can't do as far as acceleration, it's probably ok.
My 96 Lancer won't die at 500k kms. My 2006 Montero still runs great with 300k kms. No real issues just basic maintenance. Mitsubishi saved me a lot of money and headaches!

I just got one yesterday and I am impressed I love this car
Hi, how has it been in these past 8 months? Any visits to the dealership after the purchase?

Holy Moly. How did you get that type of warranty?

I keep my eyes open for that video bro.
Advanced safety tech, 360 cam, power liftgate, dual pane windows, 255 section tires, excellent interior. Well done Mitsubishi.

@@Blank00 it's garbage on both models. However, the Mitsubishi model is slightly better.
@P_double_H thanks bro..
That is a really well equipped suv for the $$ Great video and review Will!
It sure is man thanks for the comment! 👍🏼
I have the 2023 SE.
I really want the 2024 platinum! It's amazing
I can buy a 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander soon.
Guys like me that don’t care about going fast this would be a great option for me and my family

I just picked up a 2024 SE 0% financing. Coming out of 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe. Love this new truck. So much technology for the price.
U means 2024 outlander finance at 0%, if yes please let me know who can get it ..?
@@sudarshanpratap1863 yes 2024 Outlander. Mitsubishi is running a special. I don’t know for how long.
No 0% for phev tho?
No not for the Phev at the moment.
Subaru and Toyota have joined hands. Mitsubishi and Nissan have joined hands. I think this speaks volumes as to which brands you should get lol
Don't say that, bro. I just bought a Frontier, and I don't want to have any doubts about it, lol
@@chino7316 Lol, luckily for you that's probably one of the better cars they build.
As soon as you drive it of the lot, the value drop faster than Kim Kardashian's underwear.
looks nice, but why on earth do they have to have CVT transmission?
Because damn near everything at this price point does.
Canadian and American Trims have a lot difference , we get moon roof , Automatic AC control for Rear and Even Digital Cluster.
It seems like its a bit underpowered for the size and weight. Once you add passengers it might be sluggish getting up a hill. It looks nice but im not a fan of the CVT. Could also have added a 2.5l turbo. Thanks for the review.
Honda, Toyota and Nissan all run cvt transmission

The exterior looks better than the Rogue, but as for as the interior goes, the Rogue looks way better imo. I own a 21 Rogue SL premium and love mine
Sounds like a sweet car, good luck!! 👍🏼
That’s vexing your rogue is a premium you should check out the premium version of this which blows the rogue away
They are beautiful and well made. The only downside is that they don't hold their value.
Amazing review bro.
Excellent review 👏
My man. This is my dealership
It's so responsive and very quick
A my dream vehicle
Uo here in Canada my choice is the GT it is amazing.
Bought one the 18th and on the 21st realized it was drinking gas . Its been at the dealership ever since waiting for a new fuel pump 😞
Parts are really really hard to get nowadays, it's the same story on other brands.

Ventilated seats are unavailable on any trim level as far as I am aware
The new 2026 will get ventilated seats
Does the hood flutter when you drive the car
the fixed that issue on the late 2022 models and onwards no hood flutter anymore they redesigned the hollow points in the hood it does not flutter
Thanks

The third line of seats its just ridiculous 🤦♂️🤦♂️
Not really. Good for kids under 5 foot 3 and pets.

I use this vehicle for a Road trip.
It needs a V-6 and AWD to be a player. The styling will look very old before long.
S-AWC is available, one of the best AWD system in its class and it gets front Brake Vectoring AYC (Active YAW Control) too which is a rare feature.
Does this model have engine start stop?
Tienen. Buenos. Precios 😊
0-60 sometime tomorrow

Lol they just wanted it to be a 3rd row so bad

No detail on longevity of the engine and drive probably because people have none.

Only thing I'd be concerned about is reliability. Mitsubishi is not exactly renowned for it.
This is made in Japan, the RAV4, Rogue and the CR-V aren't and this has a 2.5L N/A I4.
Exhaust is rusted already
That's not rust.
Your price is unrealistic, I purchased my 2023 SE in Sep, 2024 and it costed way above $40000.00.
i paid 32k for mine and it came with some bells and whistles as well
Sept 2024 hasn’t even occurred yet
@@mariamaharris7898so we can time travel in these Mitsubishis, too? Nice! 😂
Lol my SEL cost 32k OTD
Too bad is a CVT! No thank u 🙏
you prefer horse and buggy?
Can you explain what's bad about CVT transmission b4 I go look at one
It’s a CVT with simulated automatic shifts
Unfortunately this is the trend. Even the beloved RAV4 now has a CVT. The only automaker that I'm aware of that is not adopting the CVT is Mazda.
Great review !
