      @@SeanPlaysThePiano thanks! I have no idea how to edit so I have to do most videos in 1-3 takes. Lol. Plus I really dislike watching videos where the people constantly jerk every few seconds from stitching.
      I had to restart this one twice. And despite the mistakes I refused to do another take lol. You get what you get from me. I’m not going for perfection ;)

    lovely playing! just curious how did your daughter develop perfect pitch? does she have a musical background

    • @RetireearlyNYC
      @RetireearlyNYC  2 месяца назад +1

      She took lessons from 4-15. But shes probably born with it . Her teacher realized she had perfect pitch early on bc she wouldn’t pay attention to her instructions but still played the songs perfectly lol. She didn’t read the notes. That’s when the teacher suspected. Her assigned music reading was never done bc she didn’t need to do it. Lazy lol

      @@RetireearlyNYC I see! in my experience perfect pitch manifests from both innate talent and exposure to music at a young age. the musical talent must run in the family, seeing how quickly you picked up learning piano too!

    Not bad at all, Lt.😮 Ready to hit the streets/malls? Your back pocket alternative to hedge inflation. Lang Lang would be proud.
    Hard to fathom that learning to play such a complex instrument through YT alone would be sufficient to develop those intricate piano skills.

      I tried to give a compliment without kissing butt. Brother, unless you have lots of family in new york-sell your real estate for a safe hiding place(maybe mountains). Get your money out of money(into gold/silver/dry goods-anything solid). Im a dead end child from ww2 and ww3 is just begining. Retierment is a modern idea, lovely, but inflation steals it all. I admit it, your playing charmd me all the way to the end(even through like ten or twenty different recording devices)

      @@Sociology_Tube wow!! Seriously?? Lol. I’m too cheap to pay a teacher, too cheap to pay for a gym, too cheap to go to a barber…ok the last 2 are more out of efficiency than saving money. But yeah thank you. (I played it daily for nearly 2-3 years and then once a week for the next year and the last year or so only once every 2 weeks bc I got bored of the piano/lazy). However I really don’t think I will take it up with a teacher. I mean it’s just for fun. Maybe I’ll think on it…
