Hey Jamie, I couldn't find any reviews on roborock's routines within the app or any other's manufacturer take on routines, I believe these could be very potent and help us choose the right robot vacuum for our needs. I imagine those routines like Siri shortcuts, robot vacuum and dock functions like building blocks and chaining them into sequence. Can you perhaps do a walkthrough of these for each manufacturer that support them?

Yeah, the old q revo is still available. i might settle on that, but it is annoying that Roborock released the pro version in many other European countries months ago, but not here.
I know from your tests that the MaxV is more silent, I guess the Pro has lower noise levels as well, I'll wait one more month or so... Hopefully they will release it sooner or later
Great comparison video, I did not know the watertanks on the S are smaller. Your reviews made me buy a Q Revo S and it will arrive next friday. Very excited! Do you know why they made the watertanks/dock less tall?
Glad I could help! My guess is because the addition of the water heater in the Pro and higher models. The S likely is the same dock with a blank spot inside where a heater would sit.
Which one would you choose based on value, Qrevo for 770$ or S8+ for 840$ or Dreame L20 for 1000$. We have a pretty much stuff laying around like toys + we have a short haired cat in the house and much hard flooring. We have no problem with filling a mopping tank up manually.
@@NexusCircuit The Qrevo Pro does not compete with the other 2 at all. It is half the price. If you don't need the extra features of the other 2 the Pro is a great unit. I'm still testing the X40 so the jury is out on that one.
@jamie.andrews I know you had a great video comparing you compared Qrevo to S7 Max Ultra. How does the Qrevo Plus compare to S7 MU? Is Plus better? Also how does Qrevo Plus do on pet hair pickup? thanks
I have 2 q revo's but i am a bit disappointed about them, i have a short haired dog but the sucktion compartment where the dust bag is attached to gets stuck quit easaly, you have to take some plyers to pull the hairs out.
Waiting waiting Roborock QRevo Pro available at Costco :) so whenever having problem within 2 years, I could return it :) hahaha,,,,maybe that's why Roborock yet makes it available at Costco ,,only regular 1st version QRevo :) Just checked, Costco has QRevo MaxV but not Pro!! I am waiting for QRevo Pro at Costco arghhh!

@@norral Yea the robots and especially the dock are a lot more quiet than the original Qrevo.

Great review. What are the dimensions of the station plz, especially the depth without the base plate ? To see if it fits in my suitcase

Sounds like you good good object avoidance. The L20 has the best followed by the S8 Plus.

Not much imo. Slightly better object avoidance, lifting roller brush and a voice assistant.

The Voice Assistant is the most useless feature on all the top end Roborocks. Its so bad, I actually turned it off on my S8 MaxV Ultra.
Yea I did the same. Did you have issues with it randomly responding to conversations and the TV?
@jamie.andrews not sure the TV ever triggered it but our random household conversations did.
