I gave up looking for models; i usually do my research for bigger purchases in advance, but by the time i'm will buy one, there will be 100 new Qrevo models out already...
The increased clearance is a great idea. I think it’s a surprisingly common problem. The only problem is Roborock appear to bring out a new robot every other day.
This looks awesome. I do have one major concern. My master bath has a 3.5cm threshold and the bathroom floor sits level with the threshold. So it may be able to clear the threshold to get into the bathroom, but it may not be able to come back out of the bathroom without bottoming out. I would be interested to see not just how high of a threshhold it can clear, but if it's smart enough to try and extend the wheel to go back down.
Looking forward to your review. They are always so amazing and detailed. Im now wondering what Dreame is gonna do. The new L40 is not a step forward. X50 with no lidar top?
IMO that egg shaped base looks like it is from the 1970s. But I’m curious about that brush roller and the 18k Pa. I’m under the impression that something that high isn’t needed if the rollers can do their job well. I also prefer two rollers to just one. So really curious to see your results.
There are some technical reviews out there that expose current robot vacuums are not that good at deep cleaning, neither on carpets nor tiled floors. This might be a major step up in those benchmarks
Jamie, I noticed the battery capacity increased to 6400mah.. Can u take the battery out and see if it fits in older models? I am wondering if they are still using 18650 or 21700 lithium ion batteries.. Thanks..

I really do like it, and it will be interesting to see what's available when it's time to replace it.
Awesome, hope you check out Eureka J20 it has a roller mop design which I believe all the other robots might eventually follow.. though it doesnt extend like these new roborock vacuums it can clean the floor so much better. Again thanks Jamie!
Yes roller mops are the future - for those like me who really need a god mop. I wanted the eufy s1 pro for that very feature but they won’t ship to Asia right now. The reviews of the eufy s1 pro would appear to outperform all current pad cleaners. Hopefully by the time I need to upgrade roller mops will be the norm.

I don't have dogs to test with in my home, but I do have 2 long haired girls and hair does not get wrapped around the rollers so far. The bristles appear to work well getting our car hair out of carpet. I would not get the Master if you have pets due to the very small internal dustbin size. Especially if you have carpets. The Curv has a much larger dustbin.
