Every reviewer were late on the QRevo Master. I had to blindly place my bets on it when I bought on Prime day last month. But it turns out to be a great product. I’m very happy with it and for me it was a huge update over my S7 maxV Ultra
Oh I get what you are saying, but 95%? I'd say it is closer to 75%. Object avoidance is better, larger onboard water tank and internal dustbin and the addition of detergent injection are a bit more than 5%.
Which do you recommend for the best mopping abilities? Seems any of the 9 Qrevo models would be superior as the mop system scrubs as opposed to the S8 Ultra which just drags the mop. We have the Q8 for the house and it’s great. But I need another model for the shop which will be nothing but mopping duties as the floors are all epoxy. Thank you.
it is ridiculous!! Just make a QRevo, A Robo Slim, A Robo Master and make them different enough to justify the price increase over the lesser model. Also, almost $2k for a robot vacuum that doesn't also massage your feet while cleaning is a$$anine!! I don't care where you live. I'm in Florida and have over 1,500 sq ft of tile, no way and I spending that much!
I have a S7 maxV Ultra. My apt is mainly hard floor with one small area rug. Two kids and no pets. Do you recommend upgrading to S8 MaxV ultra or Qrevo master? Seems S8 MVU mops better overall but QRevo Master better on edge cleaning?
Uhh wish I would have seen this video would have been a little more informed before deciding. Purchased the S8maxV during the sale. Today is day 2 of use, so far so good. Just not sure if that was the best choice for my 3500 sq ft home all wood floors. I just figured the flat mop would be cleaned easier by the machine without all the extra fabric on the master. It won’t if the base water doesn’t get hot though!
Shame there is not a detergent dispenser in the Qrevo. Otherwise it would be a slam dunk over the S8 Maxv Ultra. Does the Qrevo Master hit the quoted hot water temperature for mop cleaning? I heard the S8 doesn't.
So far none of them do. Master was about 120F. Very hard to test the S8 MaxV since water gets applied at the moving assembly for the scrubbing brush. I have to measure at the drain filter, but it is pretty low in temp. With Qrevo I meansure before it even hits the pads.
I did the same, however, mine arrived Friday and first use yesterday had it making a super loud repetitive banging sound when vacuuming so I dropped it off at UPS this morning for its trip back to Amazon. Now I might just wait for the edge to be released.
@@cajunomics3 the master is still good. I don’t notice much difference other than the dock. The adaptive lift not good on mid to low pile carpet to me.
If you were going to buy one for a house with mostly hard floors and some area rugs what one would you pick? Both are same price right now for the 10th anniversary sale.
I don’t understand why this company competes with itself instead of making the best of both worlds
Yea agree 👍
Two different budgets I assume

What your view on the mop design? I feel the biggest difference on this 2 product line is the mop, do you see one of them superior than the other?
I slightly prefer the dual spinning mops especially if you have tile.
Why the hell would I get the s8 at more than double the price when the qrevo master is literally 95% the same

Thank you.
Mopping performance is about the same. With that said I prefer the swing out mop over the small side mop on the S8 MaxV Ultra.
Why are these product lineups so confusing and convoluted
I know!

Thanks for the great review! How different are the two navigation systems? Is it a large difference between them?
They have the exact same navigation system. The only difference is with their object avoidance systems which the S8 MaxV is better.
Reviewers absolutely missed the window for the Master. Such a shame.
Roborock apparently did not send the Master to the typical RUclips reviewers. Instead they focused on the Pro and MaxV.

Either will be fine. You may want to hold off for my Qrevo Slim video. It will be out in a little over a week.
