I found this information really useful as a lot of tutorials don't tell you to make the case slightly smaller. It makes sense to make it slightly shorter as we do this with normal cushion covers to plump them out. Thank you.

Thank you so much for this! So thankful! I am redoing an antique sofa and was at a loss as to the way these were made. This is a perfect tutorial!! I will only be changing out the middle section of the pillows as they are faded from the light, but am keeping the piping and ends. Now I know how to do that!! :)

Great videos! 2 questions. Where can I find the button cover device you use in this video? Looks pretty fool proof. The ones I see in stores are very hard to work with. Next, is a one piece or 4 sided cover more sturdy for a box cushion? Thanks!

Answer 1: I’m not sure! I’ve had that thing forever and don’t remember where I got it.
Answer 2: They are both equally strong if you use the right thread. It has much more to do with the look you want. A top and bottom with a boxing strip is much more professional looking, gives sharper cleaner edges, and allows you to put welt in the seams :)

I made a video on a bolster with flat ends that shows how to install a zipper. You can use the same method on this style.

I want to make a neck roll, so I'm guessing its the same process, though smaller correct? And I want to put a zipper in it.

Thank you for yet another great tutorial! I’ve had a bolster pillow in my closet for almost 20 years, but have never had the confidence to make a cover for it. You made it look easy and fun and the end result is so professional looking! Your fantastic video and instructions have inspired me to actually pull that old bolster out and finally make that cover.
