    How does the height measurement depend on the round pattern?

    • @NikkiaCarrieBradshaw
      @NikkiaCarrieBradshaw 3 года назад +12

      Hey Carolyn. So I figured it out. if your circle is 9in, you will times that by 3. 9x3=27 for your height. I just used those measurements and it came out perfect AND the circle was super easy to sew around. So whatever you decide to make your circle, times it by 3. Happy Sewing!

      yes, it depends on the size of the round pattern. sorry took me a while to reply as I move to a place where the internet connection is really weak.

    Hi. can u explain what u mean by your height depends on your circle? So u figure out what u want your circle size to be and times that by 3??? I only ask that because your circle was a 6in, and your height was 18in. 6x3=18

    • @roseaverina
      @roseaverina 3 года назад +1

      hey thought id help out but im pretty sure she got 18 not by multiplying by 3 but by calculating her circle's circumference. basically to get urs would be 𝝅 (pi) x diameter of ur circle. hope this helps :)

      Hi. Sorry to throw a spanner in the works but I get the “times by 3” bit however there’s a half inch seam allowance sewn on the flat piece before the circles are sewn in. I wish I paid more attention in maths at high school!! I don’t get it. It shouldn’t work.

      @@tracysmith5179 hey Tracy! I didn’t sew a half inch seam on the flat side first. I used my x’s 3 method and it came out PERFECT…like literally NO ISSUES

    To be able to fit in the diameter of circle, then the height of the bolster pillow must be 3 times longer. As you measured the diameter of the plate was 6in, and the height was 18”. I am having a problem of sewing the height & circle together. They are NOT matched! Could you please help me?

    • @merrygetsbored987

      hi dear, it's really a struggle to sew them together. Even me I'm having a hard time, but what I did is while you are sewing them together you have to keep both ends together while continuously sewing around. I'm sorry I can't explain it properly.

      Try multiplying by 3.14 instead just like when we want to cut a 180 degree flare
