Great video and thanks for the shoutout Tim! 🙏🏼 We aim to be an 8.6 headquarters, carry everything mentioned in the video and then some! Happy to help anyone get their setup dialed 🚀
The most comprehensive test I’ve see with this caliber suppressed. Awesome content as always , really appreciate the unsuppressed clip before each can was used!
Comprehensive???? I love the deep technical data details used in the video, but it’s useless. End of the day it’s about the suppression. Without having the tools to measure sound, you’re just guessing and wasting everyone’s time. I really loved the content, it just ended up like watching a drag race where they don’t show the times or speeds.
The " SHOOTOUT " format where a specific caliber gun with numerous choices... in a countdown... is where my interest lies my friend. KUDO'S for another pinnacle presentation! ( I go back several times and rewatch the most pertinent ) Respectfully, Seth
Great breakdown, and I especially loved the sneak peak into the CAT thread adapters. I’ve been asking for those ever since 8.6 was announced and I bought the 3/4x24 Hekate 😅
Truly the best channel for absolute 2A pleasure. The relaxing voice paired with soothing music and subject matter that I always appreciate..I really value this channel. Sometimes I watch you guys right away, and sometimes I deliberately miss a bunch of videos so I can catch up and binge watch , so my good mood can last a bit longer.
Easily one of the best gun channels on RUclips! I should know, I’m subscribed to almost all of them! Keep doing what you do. After watching your videos, I always get an strange acute case of “Let’s move to Alabama!” Specifically, wherever Alabama Arsenal is located. Then I come too and realize it was just a gun fever dream. It gets real down here in the trenches!! For example; immediately after watching this video I was forced to make an emergency run to one of our local ranges to shoot my suppressed Sig 226 Legion with 165 gr Stealth 9mm on a SilencerCo 9mm can. It was just in the nick of time because, I was starting to shake, speak in tongues, and sweat from my ears. Luckily, I got my fix in time thus preventing any irreversible debilitations. We all dodged a bullet this time…….!😉
I love the real life comparison tests. I hope you guys get a decibel meter, as it would be nice to see the numbers too! But it was obvious who the winner was today!
I was planning on getting one can for 8.6 Blackout and 45-70. However, your presentation makes me think that may not be such a great idea. The Dead Air Primal is on my list but the difference between that and the Hekate was night and day.
Thanks for doing this video. Just finished an 8.6 build, and was disappointed with the sound signature with the Silencerco 46 universal, even tho it works well with 300 BLK. Will have to get a 338 silencer. 👍🏻
I ordered the Diligent DTF for a SLR custom works 8.6 AR-10 rifle I bought because of this video. I couldn't justify the Hekate cost vs the DTF. I hope to get the gun in soon and go put some rounds down range. I have a feeling ill be far happier with this Compared to my Rattler Huxwrks combo. the MCX Huxwrks deal is decent and I've been having fun with it... the 8.6 I think will be far more satisfying
Good review, since Q designed the 8.6 and designed a "steel" silencer for this caliber, a comparison with the two Q 8.6 silencers and the CGS silencer would be informative.

@@rogerl8488 it was totally a joke my friend. There is no 12.7 blackout. I was making fun of Q coming out with another "latest and greatest" round. Next year there will be another latest and greatest blackout cartridge I'm sure.
