Thank you! I hope some of these habits will help with your anxiety. Spending time in the word and working with a godly mentor has been so great for me in this area.
I was just recently listening to Elizabeth Elliot give that exact illustration just last week, too funny, and so true. Putting ourselves together makes us act put together. And i also agree with being home more if you're over stressed, this last month being mostly home has calmed my spirit in a great way. Home is a haven. More time to accomplish the things we need to do and more time for time with the Lord in His Word.
By the way I just tried setting the delayed start on the washer, so awesome! Had my new washer for a year and never tried it before silly me! Great to switch to the dryer first thing in the morning!!
Hey Kyrie! I've been following you since the beginning and always loved your videos. I think we started our blogs at the same time. I'm ready to dive into RUclips and wondering if you can share the cameras/mics you use and kind of what your setup is for videos like this? I have no idea what I'm doing and any advice/recommendations would be appreciated!
Oh how fun! RUclips is a blast. I used to use a lapel mic for some videos (see my bless your husband challenge videos) and I think that was the Rode Go mic. I’ve since sold it since it was too complicated to set up and sometimes I’m working with very little time to get a video set up. I know my audio can/should be better, but I’m not in a season for that right now. I did love the clarity of that audio though! Camera is a cannon eos 80d. I shoot in kelvin recently because I love the warmth. As far as set up, I do have a super large heavy duty tripod that I will sometimes pull out… but for most videos (this included) I use things around the kitchen hahaha so I’ll have the camera on a mason jar, then the counter, then the espresso machine etc. so I can get variation in height/distance. I’m trying to keep things as low maintenance as possible! I hope this helps. Feel free to message me on instagram for more questions!

Seeing you laugh when you noticed your bread sunk was so refreshing! I get so upset when my breads don’t work out, I need to change that attitude 😩😂
It happens! It always tastes great though!
I listen to a devotion as I do my casual makeup for the day. It helps so much to be ready for the day.
Great list!
What a great idea!
This is great, thank you for your insights. I do think I am letting my anxiety about my next steps and life plan steal my joy.

Oh that’s so funny! I loved that story when I heard it! She was so blunt but in such a loving and funny way.
