Today I want to have a little chat about the mindsets a homemaker ought to have that will transform your homemaking to be more joy-filled.
As with any role, it’s important to keep your mindsets in alignment with your true intentions and values. Yes store-bought tortillas are so easy, of course, but I recently purchased your meal plans because they are genius, and my husband and I can’t get enough of the sourdough tortillas and they are such an easy recipe once you have a starter. We make extras because they’re so yummy

Congratulations on your third little one. One trial that comes up for me time and time again is when I am unwell or sick. I have so much trouble around that. It is almost inevitably part of a series of trials... How do we get the rest we need and persevere?
I feel this in my bones, Faye! I can relate to suffering from constant pain and illness. I find that often the Lord will give us the same trials over and over again as a test. He is so patient with us, and He has ways of sanctifying us. Perhaps the Lord is sanctifying you in a particular way through those trials of illness. I would sit and pray and ask the Lord how you can pass those “tests” and what success would look like through those trials in His eyes. Romans 5:3-5 says “Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.” But most of all, the important thing is to entrust the trials to God. He has everything under control and He is with you through each sickness.
What do you think about the zero water filter process
I don’t love the short shelf life of zero water filters, or how they don’t come in large sizes, and they remove lots of contaminants but still not as much as berkey. Overall though they seem like a pretty solid filter. And the benefit is that they’re cheaper. I’d like to see a comparison though over the span of 4 years to see if they’re actually cheaper long term.

Hmm interesting.... Be careful not to take too much vitamin A. This may increase the risk of birth defects in pregnancy. Raspberry tea is given in the last month only as it is known to cause contractions ;)
Also Dates (same as raspberry tea) cause contractions and if you want to start the labor.
Both of those are actually false regarding the RRL and dates. Also I never go above the RUI for vitamin A. But definitely only do what you’re comfortable with 😃 I had three very healthy babies doing this approach.

This video saved me on a recent Walmart shopping trip. My 6 m/o decided to have a melt down in the store. I use my Moby to wrap to wrap in in the front seat of the cart so I happened to have it on me. He got tired of this so I decided to give front carry a try....and he loved it! :) He bounced up and down and kicked his little legs. He also pretended to help push the cart. Thank you!
The front facing carry is such a life saver at that age!

It actually is quite toxic, I’m sure. At the time of this video it was rated well on the EWG app but since it’s been deemed toxic. I’d definitely follow up with a non toxic soap and wear gloves if you’re worried. Works well though!
@@TransformedHomemakersSociety It still goes into the environment when you wash it down the drain. That's what makes it so hard to choose commercial formulas.

The rushing, hurrying, and worrying is something I’m working on. I think the fact that I’ve been like this with my children has made them anxious. It’s a hard habit to break, but God is definitely helping me.
