The first part of the demo is quite different from the original script as arranged by J. Williams. CARIBBEAN CALYPSO:

1 LF fwd down LOD, slight turn L S Point RF fwd S
2 RF fwd down LOD, slight turn R S Point LF fwd S
3 LF fwd down LOD S RF to side to wall Q LF closes to RF Q
4 RF back against LOD S LF to side to centre Q RF closes to LF Q
5-7 Repeat Bars 1 - 3
Then the rest of the demo is as per the same script. Seems there are variations about - would love to see the dance as per the original script. Love watching you both in all the demos you provide. Thank you

This looks like a fun dance and you dance it very well, but I'm confused as the music and dance styling is not calypso...is "Caribbean Calypso" just the name of the sequence?

Yes, it is a sequence dance, danced to a variety of rhythms - mostly of a latin flavour though :D

It's a 16 bar 'party' dance, danced at Ballroom & Latin events in the UK :) We dance it to many Latin rhythms.
