As someone with anxiety and avoidance behaviours I really love the point Amy brought up about not ignoring things and facing your problems. It reminded me of one of Jordan Petersons rules from his book Beyond Order which is 'Do not hide unwanted things in the fog', essentially what it means is to face your problems when they are small so they don't end up becoming bigger problems that you'll inevitably have to deal with later!
