1-1/4" on the Honda. No, I haven't. I have used the bike rack with the 1-1/4" to 2" adapter on my wife's Lexus RX350 which has a 2" hitch and it worked like a charm,
I bought this for my 2017 accord EX-L, the only thing I don’t like, it doesn’t utilize a thru pin, only ball expansion and Velcro strap, for security, …did that ever concern you or cross your mind ? I’d rather have a thru pin than Velcro strap for security
How long did it took UHAUL to install it? Did they drill any or enlarged any holes? or simply plug in play with the bolts? Looking to get this install on my accord 2017 sport !
Hey idk if you will response to this but after a while of having it, was it a bad idea? I’ve heard from a couple of people that it will distribute weight badly and some people say that it’s perfectly fine
It's been great with no issues so far. Even with it only being a 1-1/4 hitch, it doesn't wobble very much with my mountain bike. Zero wobble with my road bike.
Nice! I still really like my setup. When I go mountain biking I don't have to worry about getting mud all over the inside of my car. :) Regarding my headlights.. 3yrs ago I upgraded to the XenonDepot H11 XTR kit with 5000k bulbs. So far no issues and FAR better than stock. At the time led bulbs wasn't very good. Not sure if leds have gotten any better. Haven't had a need to check. :)
John O'Bryan thanks! I’m loving the car so far..I’m still debating between the 1UP USA and the Kuat Sherpa bike rack..I do like how simple the 1UP looks..your car is looking super clean, are you lowered on coilovers? Looks a little lower than stock height..
@@29drigo I choose the 1UP due to how clean it looks and the ability to add a second 1UP rack if needed. It's built extremely well also. When I installed the audio system in my car I installed quite a bit of sound deadening material which added a fair amount of weight. Plus the weight of the bike(s) and rack is what makes it look that way.
Finally bought the bike rack. So i realized this doesn’t have an actual lock that you insert into the hitch to secure it with a key to prevent it from being stolen. Not sure if the Allen wrench key use to lock the rack into the hitch using some metal ball is secure enough if you are driving around? Would like to know your experience of how secure that is or chances of someone who may have the same wrench key to take your rack?
Do you know if your hitch allows for weight of a 2nd bike? I just bought the Thule T2 pro xt 2” receiver clearly not doing my research. I definitely need to exchange for the 1.25” receiver but wondering if the hitch will even hold all that weight. Rack is already about 50 lbs. I might have to exchange for the roof rack instead. Thanks for posting this. Have the same car.
Do you find that the hitch receiver ever drags the ground and how about the bike rack? Ever have a problem scraping? Just seems so low.... but I’m wanting this same set up as well.
What are the different inch sizes for the 1Up USA rack on their site? I dont know what that mean... I plan on just getting a regular standard mountain bike so not sure if there is a length or width of what i should be looking for..
Due to the way wheel hold downs work you can fit pretty much any bicycle wheel on there. If you're running fat bike tires you'll have to buy a kit which they sell on their website.
@@JohnOBryan Thanks I will look into it. Does this have like an anti theft lock or something? I've been worried on someone unhitching the 1up bike mount off the hitch as they are not cheap.
Where can I have this hitch installed ? Price?
I bought mine from UHaul and had them install it.
Link for bike rack?
What size receiver hitch? Have you ever used the add on?

About 30min. Very quick! Nope drilling. They used the included hardware that came with receiver. Very glad I did!
Awesome! Thanks for the video 👍🏽
You're welcome!

It does. Max tongue weight is 200lbs.
Is that a curt 1 1/4 receiver hitch? Did you put any adapter to install your bike rack?
It is a Curt 1-1/4" receiver. No. The 1UP USA Quick Rack comes as 1-1/4" with a 2" adapter.
What’d you record with? Great audio and video quality!
GoPro Hero 7 Black, GoPro mic adapter, Rode Wireless Go.
John O'Bryan insane man it looks beautiful, any tips on video, photo settings for my go pro hero 5?
@@JohnOBryan that’s an amazing microphone

I've never had it drag but I also live in SW Florida where it's mostly flat. It's also pretty close to the car so it doesn't stick out that far.
I also have one from Quickbooks and Square. Haven't used those either. lol
Thanks! I was looking for a way to transport my 29" BMX Cruiser and Gravel Bike with my 2020 Insight Touring.

Are those the 'Sport' OEM wheels that you have?
Yes
Do they have these for two bikes?
Yep!
What bike is that? I want one like that
Road bike is a 2014 Trek Madone Project One. The mountain bike is a 2015 Giant Stance 2.
Hey man what headlights are you running? I’ve been looking for some good ones for a minute. Those are nice
I've been using the Xenon Depot H11 XTR kit with this 5000k bulb. Love'em!
uhaul installs the hitch?
You can buy the hitch from Amazon ( amzn.to/3cr7g13 ) and install it yourself or buy the hitch from UHaul and have them install it.
@@JohnOBryan How much does it cost for Uhaul to install?
Nice review. I have the same car and I’m looking into a new bike rack like yours. How much does something like this cost?
The hitch + installation was $250. The 1UP USA Quik-Rack was $350. You could save about $100-$150 installing the hitch yourself.
Link for bike rack?
Sorry don't have a link. Just Google 1UP USA.
