So I purchased this tail light and harness from them for my 2017 ktm 690 enduro r and then purchased a cheap tail tidy. I have sold the bike since but it worked awesome! I bought the harness so I could make my own connections to the factory harness. The previous owner cut the OEM harness so I just tapped into that. I did this because then I wouldn't have to cut the tst plug off the light. I wish someone would bring them a newer husky 701!
Yea, we looked for the 701 locally and came up short. They exist but they have to be owned by cool enough owners to lend us the bike in exchange for parts or compensation. That kind of person has not turned up yet. I am glad to see you applying your ingenuity to your custom setup though. IO love seeing hybrid systems using some of our parts.

Super clean! Well done. Would it be possible to fit the stock turn signals to your eliminator kit?
With a little ingenuity I am sure it is possible. The electrical connection will be tricky though unless you can crimp bullet connectors onto the OE signal wires to replace the factory JST connectors. Our subharness extra signal leads terminate in bullet connectors.
Super clean install. My recommendation is skip the plate light and blinkers as it has built in integrated blinkers and so much easier and cleaner.

I doubt it. That bike is quite a bit different.
Very nice; if using the TST BL6 LED POD TURN SIGNALS on the front of a 2020 KTM 690 ER, which of the MOUNT ADAPTER KITS should I buy?
If that bike is anything like the SMC-R in the front you will not need any mount adapters. You would still need welectrical harness converters. Check out the front signal video on the SMC-R and see if it is the same on your bike ruclips.net/video/GEOQLOwljrg/видео.html
Missing out not having this for the Husq 701
If someone would drop off that bike for a few days we would get it done. It is not by choice that we don't offer that setup yet. It's just not a prevalent bike around here.

What if I wanted to use external turn signals and not the integrated one? How would I go about that
In that case you can unpin the terminals on the green and brown wires in the six position connector leading from sub harness to tail light. This will retain the connection from bike harness to external signal pigtails, but not forward the current to the on-board integrated signals in the tail light.
Does the taillight itself shine light on the tag at all? The add on plate light looks like it washes out the plate and taillight a little. I may order this tonight and ride over tomorrow and pick it up.
The tail light does emit a substantial amount of light and may illuminate your plate a bit but not nearly as much as a true license plate light.

Any update about Husqvarna 701 ?
The unicorn that we haven't been able yo get in the shop. If you are local please bring it in. If we use your bike yo design around the parts and installation is free

We haven't been able to get a 701 in-house so we cannot confirm or deny fitment and functionality.

Unfortunately we haven't gotten a 2017 model in-house to test fitment and function on.

Will it work on a 2012 model KTM 690 SMC-R ??
I think the components in the rear of that gen SMC-r were different. I do not think this will work on pre-2019 model

unfortunately i dropped a torques bit in my gas tank while
installing this under tail. how can i go about getting that out ???
Why was your tank open is a question that comes to mind but i guess that doesnt help you much. Grab yourself a magnetic retractor and carefully try to fish it out.
i was putting the rear fender back on and needed the cap off.
Is the plate holder able to be put in reverse to allow for a tucked position?
We would not recommend that due to clearance with the tire under load. Installing any of these components outside of their intended use can cause damage or failure and would void any warranty coverage.

an awesome kit but will this fit on 2024 Husky 701 SM?
I don't think it's a direct fit. I have seen guys get them installed but it was with some modifications. If work on the other bikes ever slows down a bit i will get a dedicated Husq kit designed.

Do you ship worldwide? Also, does it fit a european license plate?
We do ship to most European locations. The angle that the license plate is held on should clear tire even with your street size license palates there. For slot spacing please refer to the product page. You can measure the hole spacing from your plate and see if it will fit the range we have with the slots on our bracket. I have seen this kit on European bikes but can't tell for sure if they had to do any modifications.
Do you have plans on making one for a 2017?
You make the bike appear in our shop and Bart will make it happen. You see, the toughest thing is really getting these bikes in house for long enough to make the parts and install them.

has this been tested yet on 2020-21 husq 701? very interested
Faith Riding Johnny has retrofitted this kit to the Husq. We unfortunately have not had the appropriate bait to attract a critter riding a 701 into the shop so we can come up with a proper kit and instruction video yet. If you are local bring by the bike and you will get parts and installation for free.

Will this fit Gas Gas SM700?
We have not had that model in the shop yet biut it looks exactly like the KTM model. All the parts as far as our installation goes look the same between the bikes. I have no way to validate 100% for you though.
