I have just found your channel and watched this review - FANTASTIC, just what a proper review should be. I am a very enthusiastic but very average modeller and I am fed up of so called reviews that state what a 'superb model' it is but do not even touch on the fitting side of the kit. I have followed these so called reviews and bought kits that are 'superb' only to find huge fitting issues. YOUR REVIEWS ARE A COMPLETE REVIEW, INCLUDING THE VERY IMPORTANT FITTING SIDE OF THINGS. Thankyou Jen for the only PROPER reviews I have so far come across. ( am I to late for the competition)

Another great review of a wonderful little kit, a far cry from the first kit my grandad bought for me, a 1/72 Airfix Spitfire in a little plastic bag with cardboard header for 19d. A great memory indeed, and I'm lucky to say i had a lot of good memories as a child, but the one the one that tops the lot is when my dad used to put me in an old tyre and roll me down a hill, those were good years.

Love your reviews because you do more than take a look at the plastic-you fit the key parts and tell us about any potential problems. I would HATE to win a kit of one of the iconic airplanes of WWII. Not for me. Nope. Not at all. No…ah…OK…sure do.

"Arma Hobby" has an "OUTSTANDING" Customer Service...
I recently got their Ki-84 that had some Damage upper Wing and reach out to them with an Email and Pictures, a short time later I got a Email asking to fill out a Form with all the information such as Part # and my address. I filled it out and about 6 days later I got the upper Wing replacement.
    I Highly recomend them!!!

Hi Jen, I would like to be considered for the Mustang giveaway, I'm back into modelling after 30ish years and find your lovely West Midlands twang and easy yet very informative tips and advice invaluable in my learning of the hobby after 30 years ( things have changed alot since the 70,s) Also undying to try foiling so this sould be my first attempt, I'll send you pictures of my success or not if I am lucky enough to win. Thanks again

I have been aware of your channel for just over a month, but you quickly became one of my favorite builder/reviewers. So much so that I actually binge watched a number episodes. After I had seen a few, I thought, "How can this young man, who sounds no older than 13-14, sound so mature and have accumulated this much knowledge"? I eventually cracked the mystery! I'm 75 years old now and have built in god's scale 😉(mainly), for over 65 years. Luv your channel Jen!!
Oh ya, I beseech thee, oh gods and goddesses of modeling....I need (ok, want) that Mustang to keep company with my Spit XIX. However, you'll you will have to send it clear to Canada. .....damn, I may have said too much.

The wings here look thin and tapered properly, which no previous kit ever achieved in my opinion, certainly not the 1999 1/48 Hasegawa (or 70s Tamiya), whose wings are horrendously thick: It actually changes completely the look of the aircraft...

Foiled again?, bring it on, the finish will look amazing on the Hayate. As for the 'must have' Mustang a resounding 'oui' for me, I mean it's not often you look at French markings and think hell yes!

Great review as ways. I'm with you on rivets in 1/72nd scale anyway, I prefer just the other more prominent fasteners to be represented. I'd love to see you tackle markings option 6 just to see how well you get on with in it this scale 😀 I love Arma's kits, like you say they are excellently detailed but easy to build as the fit is great and parts count is not too high. I'm really looking forward to their P-39 and 1/48th scale Hurricane and I'm interested to see their 3D printing.

Having just recently discovered the Arma models myself I can't help but echo your point about the kits being just "enough", while still retaining fantastic detail. I simply refuse to go back to 72-kits with inflated parts counts. It is just not necessary anymore.
I've only built their Hurricane yet, but will definitely work my way trough their catalogue, and I urge everyone to give these kits a chance.

Great video as always! I would like to see a build series on the Hayate and am really looking forward to a "building for beginners" series as sometimes even the "life-timers" of the hobby could use a tutorial on basic techniques and skills (i.e., me 😄). Oh, and, yes I would definitely like to win the Mustang, but if I don't I'll still check out Arma Hobby's selection and see what they have (I kind of have an interest in the Hayate after seeing this video).
    Looking forward to more!
