It’s not everyday that you can say “i glued balls for my hobby”
You could say it was unnecessary to say
Isn’t it?
Not sure it's something I'd want to say.
Hello, is that the
Academy hotline? Yea, um... I glued my balls to the model...
Day after you upload this video, we lost one P39 in Dallas airshow, in that accident , we lost another B17, RIP
It was a P63 but yeah my heart goes out to them, that should not have happened
17:41 with the lighter for scale took me by ABSOLUTE surprise. I had to rewind to see if it was actually that small when you were working on it! Easy to forget for a non-modeller that 1/72 is the realm of the watchmakers. Superb!
Plasmo's first model build was a 30:1 scale Bic Lighter. ;)
@@Vorpal_Wit 😂
I don`t know how Arma Hobby does it , but they have set a new standard for model detail
Another fantastic job, David!! You have such a deft hand with weathering! Your ability to portray mechanic's marks on panels is superb. 35+ year Airframe & Powerplant mechanic, here (C-130, C-141, C-5, C-123, C-119, B-17, P-40, AT-6, Beechcraft Bonanza, Waco YMF-5, Cessna 182D, Aeronca Chief, Piper Cub, and Cessna 140 were my primary aircraft.) You are definitely my favorite modeler on RUclips!
ruclips.net/video/nxl7eUxskZE/видео.html
когда увидел его на фоне зажигалки, немножко офигел какой он мелкий, а кажется как настоящий! очень круто!
Sadly, a variant of this plane was involved in a midair crash with a B-17 at an air show only 1 day after this vid was published 😢
No it was a p 63 king cobra.
@@vincentlefebvre9255 Which was developed from the P-39.
@@_Jester_ exactly developed. It is still p63
The detailing makes it seem like a 1/48 build, so great job and great effect!
Amazing work, best P-39 I've ever seen made in 1/72 scale.
The amount of detail you pack into these small scale builds is incredible!
Beautiful work!
4 day build and David makes another masterpiece... while making it look so easy
I'm learning so much from your channel! I'm still on hold building the Ducati - waiting for 2 tools needed to be delivered from Amazon. I'm challenging myself to see how close I can get from your video. You have inspired me to broaden and improve. Thank you!
Sorry for the light improvements. 🏍😅
Same here. Watching him and others makes me want to do so much more. Good luck buddy
@@idaemonplasmo LOL! Took me a moment to figure out what you meant - Don't be sorry, it was brilliant what you did. But it is above my paygrade. If I can match 50% I'll be happy!
@@frankierzucekjr Thanks. I'll post a video or videos of my progress - I did one as a intro. 🤞
Nice work 🙂 your videos never disappoint! Could you make a diorama of a crashed aircraft, it would really make my day and it would be interesting to see one with heavy weathering?
I wanted to finish this type of diorama this year but did not have time for it. One will be with a helicopter and then some planes. So there will be more of them.
@@idaemonplasmo thanks!🙂
Oof. The timing of this comment with "do a crashed one" with one of the last flying p39's crashing into one of the last b17's over Dallas not two days later.
@@colinmartin9797 wdym
@@Stop_motionsss oh you didn't say anything wrong, just the awkward coincidence - in Dallas yesterday at an airshow, one of the last p39's crashed into one of the last b17's. Super tragic.
The details at this scale is, as always with you Plasmo, utterly bonkers! Love it!
I absolutrly agree Mark
I still have a very old revell 1:72 of this airplane. I think I will throw it away forever. It's such a mess compared to this. Every time I open that little box I cry. No details whatsoever. All distorted and weird.
And you are a monster as always.
Your re washes are superb. Some subtle and not to heavy nor dusty. I just enjoy viewing your clips before bedtime
Thank you for the video. I appreciate your techniques and the details of information regarding paint colors and painting. I will watch it again. The model came out very well. Keep up the good work.
Nie jestem modelarzem ale twoje video to majstersztyk, czekam na każde z utęsknieniem z chęcią bym zobaczył twoją kolekcję modeli. Pozdrawiam
Plasmo, will you ever brush paint a model again? Fantastic work as always.
Yes. I can do another video for beginners in my free time.
@@idaemonplasmo yes, please.
As usual thank you for posting this video as well as all of your other excellent videos! Also, excellent job building and painting and weathering your Arma Hobby P-39Q Airacobra too!
"Thanks" for sharing this build with us.
brother in modelling, with these plane builds you are spoiling us
Cool to see you build this little gem of a kit to such a nice finish! Hopefully it gives Arma Hobby some additional publicity for their high quality models. Now I only have to find time to built mine (which I also preordered)!
What are the odds this is made the day before a horrible air accident crash in TX involving the same airframe... It's such an obscure plane to begin with
That sir was absolutely outstanding, you are one of the true masters of this hobby, looking forward to your next build, best regards from Australia.
I cannot wait to get this kit! Always liked the Airacobra, David you really did this one justice, excellent work and end result! 👍
Thank you David. You have become one of my refuges from an increasingly insane world.
Good to see you remembered the nose guns. 😁
I loved the production values of this video. They just keep getting better. I don' believe I will build this kit, but I surely enjoy watching your techniques. I notice that this is as close to OOB that you get, and that alone says an awful lot about the quality and details of the kit itself.
Carbondale PA is an hour drive from me. That's pretty cool lol! Awesome build dude! I always loved the quirkiness of the P-39 Airacobra.
i definitely think that 1:48 plane videos are the best. Aswell as the fact that they do really well with the views
The other 1/48 is in the progress 🙋♀
Looks like I could climb into it and fly away. Great job
Airplanes also come straight out of factories, with barely any "weathering" 😎 No oil leaks or paint chipping 🤓 Thats how I like them!
Speechless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more 1/72 aircrafts please
Yes 👌👌
The Top Gear-esque openings always get me.
1/72!!! Is just amazing the level of details!
What a Master pice!
PLASMO: this kit is very detailed, so minimum modifications this time!
Also PLASMO: immediately starts drilling holes.
That is a very fine result you have achieved. Truly an artist at model making and finishing!
Exciting build and result for a 1/72 kit.
beautiful work on the Aircobra. the riveting adds so much to an already good kit - Thank you for sharing
Again you show that you are The master. We ALL Can build good models, but you create works of true art. It is a fantastic joy to Watch. Greetings from Denmark😊
Outstanding David, thank you for another inspiring build.
как всегда приятно последить за процессом. ну и результат, очевидно, достойный.
I just came home from the local model club, and instantly saw your video, best evening ever. Keep on doing such great videos and models.😁👍
Wow! Amazing for a 1/72 of this bird. Outstanding work!!!!
il est d'une très belle qualité ce kit pour du 1/72, rare de voir autant de détails mis en valeur comme d'habitude par toi David.
I'm always impressed with your modelling skills and they push me on to be better, but I always look forward to your introduction - always makes me chuckle😀
That looks lovely. The paint wear by the cockpit looks really realistic. I'll try that technique. Thanks 😘
Just watched this again. Beautiful work on an excellent model.
Just beautiful perfection as ever. Each nite when I say my prayers I pray I can model like Plasmo but no one is listening
Maybe the "gods are" overwhelmed with prayers. Keep trying. If you wish something, then it will happen. Maybe.
Sad coincidence. An Airacobra crashed into a B-17 in Texas on Saturday, two days after you posted this. Destroyed both planes killing 6 people.
Was just about to say…the timing of this video and the crash is interesting and tragic.
So true about the tragic crash
This is a p-39, the plane that hit the b-17 was a p-63.
@dallas_pandora420 The P-63 is a totally different airframe, far from just being another variant. Only the layout is the same.
And yet the sentiment expressed in the original comment is still relevant. Neither the people killed in the crash, nor their families, would care much about the differences in the airframe, but thanks anyway.
David you are a master. Beautiful work very realistic. 👏
Stop. Just stop being so talented. You make the rest of us look bad! Haha!
Amazing work! Inspirational really! 💜💜
Very inspiring and beautiful work now I will get busy on my projects on this snowy Saturday in Cincinnati
Bringing plastic to life... you are amazing my friend... cheers from Argentina!
I was actually flabbergasted when you said it was 1/72 scale. I thought it was 1/48 from the thumbnail.
Your still my modeling hero, fantastic job on what looks like a great kit.
That tooling is insane! Beautiful!
You mean you superglued some balls😁. Nice work!
Always a pleasure to watch building up your models . Great result 👍
what a lil gem, great job
great choice of music as well.
Stunning build from a master modeller!
Magnificent model making!! I am taking my notes and have this video as my gold standard. 💯
A tiny gem!
I see this video and i could not think of the tragic accident of the 2022 Dallas Airshow . God rest you all gentalmen.
As always masterfully executed model ... and in 1/72 scale. Excellent subject, one of my favorite aircraft.
a great build, many thanks for sharing your art with us,
Another masterpiece! You are one of the top modellers of the world
When Johnny comes marching home again, Hurrah, hurrah! We'll give him a hearty welcome then, Hurrah, hurrah!
Hail Plasmo! What an amazing video once again. You are a natural born modeller and teacher. Great stuff!
Очень приятная кобра получилась. Мои поздравления! 👍
😉 thanks
Lovely work David. You never disappoint.
Ахтунг-ахтунг! Покрышкин в воздухе
realy ! a astonisching locking model !
Fabulous detail 😊
Nice. I'm currently flying this plane in Warthunder
Love how this one turned out, great job!
Very nice build, excellent.
c'est toujours un réel plaisir de voir vos vidéos, maître de la maquette 👍👍❤️😍🇫🇷
Man, you are so efficient. Did this so well in just 4 days...
When the kit is good, then you can enjoy painting more. 🖼
Excellent as always!
Haha I love your openings, "I glue balls" hahahahaha.
Thanks for the video, David! Perfect job, as usual!
I love every video of yours. High for the eyes!👍
You’re just hammering out content lately. Must not be any big projects underway?
You can take a look at my Instagram. I have the news there. I have more time for models. I am not usually at home during summer. instagram.com/plasmo.plastic.models/
Hey Plasmo I'm not sure if you are aware, but the P-39's manual states that preferred entrance and exit is through right door. I guess there was a silly maintainer that opened the left door of your model.
There was less to climb over by getting in/out on right side, making it also the preferred means by default. Gorgeous build though. :)
I love watching the details you put into your models. They are some of the best I have seen. I don't know if you take requests but my father was a structural repair technician for the a-10 Warthog for almost 30 years. i would love to see what you can do with a model like that.
Nice model
Superb build. I am 56 years old, my eyes can not build in 1/72nd! It would be great if they scaled this up to 1/48!
Absloutely ridiculous.Outstanding work as always.
An outstanding build.
Very beautiful aircraft
Excellent result, David 👍
Great job and excellent end result!
Great job. Really enjoyed the video
The introduction 😂
Great work as always!
Beautiful build! Love this!
I'm in the middle of building this kit and wanted to do this marking version. Now I have to change my choice since I will never do it as good as Plasmo and it will bother me forever. Thanks 😅😅😅
Great job as usual, thanx for sharing.
Simply amazing - I love this video! Someday I hope you'll kit-bash/update one of the old Revell Robotech models, or maybe a Votoms kit!
