I am glad I finally made another video. I was ill for a few weeks, so I was not capable of making them. Now I feel much better, therfore you can expect more content and more often. 🥳🥳👍👍
My older cousin got into modeling back in the late 80s. I remember he had a really good eye for detail and had really great models that he used to sell to other collectors so he could pay for university. I lost touch with him when I moved out of the city, but we reconnected not so long ago at a family gathering, he is in his mid 50s and I'm in my late 30s, we started talking about modeling and that we don't have the time or money to start doing it again haha, but we both mentioned how we are fans and follow Plasmo on youtube. Thank you for keeping the family bond alive!! Cheers from Guatemala!! lml
I love going to art galleries and museums to see the skill people of previous generations had to build sculptures and fine paintings. My god plasmo your pieces are more than worthy to be in such a place!
David, your attention to detail always astounds me. I love your dedication to accuracy over perfection. The realism and believability of your models are always incredible, and you raise the bar for yourself with each new project. I wouldn’t be surprised if you started using a microscope to detail your models one day 😂 Keep up the great work, friend!
Who would've thought breaking a model would look so good? Well done, glad to hear you're feeling better, and I'm looking forward to your next build! Cheers!
I really thought at first I was going to cringe, seeing a pristine model be destroyed, but I was so wrong. It was…destroyed perfectly. Delicately, accurately, and adding even more detail than it would have had originally. Instant subscribe.
I feel enormous admiration for every job you do. The level of detail you manage with each diorama is impressive. Congratulations and greetings from Argentina.
Jako vždy dokonalá práce. Vždy po shlédnutí toho co umíš, mám chuť radši začít vyšívat nebo tak něco. Nakonec kouknu do kitníku a snažím se aspoň trochu se přiblížit tvé práci. Děkuji za super inspiraci.
This really inspires me to complete a diorama I've planned for a while. An F9F Panther crash landed aboard a carrier, nose gear collapsed, nose cone barely attached, stuffed into the fabric barrier.
This is an amazing model! I love when you guys use your imagination and make something that isn't a pristine off the showroom floor model. Something that was destroyed just like what happens in real life 👍👍 I feel like it's more difficult to do this as well because there's no kit for it. You just have to use your imagination
Amazing! The Soviet post apocalyptic feel is strong. One small nitpick is the IR countermeasure tube behind the engine assembly. From what I could find, Aeroflot hips didn't have them installed, only military. Small detail, and if anything it adds to the refurbished military background. Thanks!
I am referring to the L166 system, simular to the ALQ-144. Picture of the system without cover: northstarmodels.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Lipa-6-1024x768.jpg
Great, now I *have to* dig out that 1/72 Zvezda Mi-24 I started years ago. Speaking of Stalker, my inspiration came from the "helipad" on the southern edge of Jupiter. I really like the surrounding wall with the old metal gate, the small building with the fire fighting equipment on the outside, and of course the abandoned Mi-24 in the center. I'd definitively go for the iconic PAG-14 concrete slabs for the actual helipad part. Quiet a project and I haven't even closed up the fuselage yet.
I am really excited to hear that you are going to make a diorama of Stalker with this helicopter. IMO Stalker of Andrei Tarkovsky is one of the all time best!
I’m glad you’re back making videos again,David! You provide a lot of hints and tremendous detail.I’ll keep watching as many videos you post. I really appreciate them.
Well done Dude! It really looks like a crashed and abandoned aircraft, I can't wait to see the finished diorama! I hope you sharing the make of it as well! 10/10!
David, It is so nice, and, I am very glad, that You are still sharing and building models! Thank You for sharing with Us here on the tube. I find Your work to be Top notch and a real inspiration !! The amount of detail You put into 1/72 scale, well, any scale You build, is absolutely awe inspiring! I could sit and watch Your work all day! Come to think of it, I have watched You build all day!! Thank You again. Looking forward to more! Later
Salute to the pilots who managed to land an old soviet helicopter with a broken tail (even though they crashed it in a power transmission tower beforehand 😂). Can't wait for the diorama.
I'm glad we got to partly experience what you hear while painting when you first started the Soviet Green camoflage. I've be curious for a long time how loud it was running the painter and air machine
That’s beautiful work! A while back I did a diorama scene of a fictional US militia unit in the Red Dawn universe. I’ve wanted to do another that includes a downed Mi-8, but I had no idea how to pull off a good-looking crash scene.
Hello David. It is fantastic that you are back. I think many of us was starting to worrie. Personally i was afraid you would not return after that imposter was removed from your Channel. We are in a world now that really needs good Things, and your Channel is one of Them. Later i Will raise toast for your continuing good helth. Many greetings from Denmark😊
Stalker diorama incoming! Very nice. I plan something similar for some time now. A crashed Mi-24 as a Stingray from Call of Prypjat. Thanks for the great inspiration and Tipps on this matter. 👍
I love watching you work. Anyway I used to make models of cars in a way to make them look like they were crash was to heat them a bit and force him against an object until you achieved all the mens you want
Excellent work! I love a good crashed vehicle as it tells a much more interesting story than one just sitting on the tarmac... unless that is also covered in grime. Like those abandoned Russian space shuttles!
Not gonna lie, my first thought when you mentioned it not having an engine and getting one from another kit was "why bother, it would probably be looted for scrap anyway". I guess it makes more sense with a post-apocalyptic scenario :D That being said, lovely model as usual and I'm awaiting the diorama video as well.
I am glad I finally made another video. I was ill for a few weeks, so I was not capable of making them. Now I feel much better, therfore you can expect more content and more often. 🥳🥳👍👍
We missed you! Good to hear you're better!
Cool to see you back again. Looking forward for some new vids.
Good news👍
Thank you. I'm glad to hear you're well.
Realy nice model, i love it. But you forgot one detail: shaft coming from main hub to tail rotor

You are the Messi of scale modeling. You are not just good, you are the GOAT!
My God... I'm 2 years in and you make my 30hr efforts look like the Spitfures I did with with enamels and brushes as a kid .
You're an inspiration.
I love going to art galleries and museums to see the skill people of previous generations had to build sculptures and fine paintings. My god plasmo your pieces are more than worthy to be in such a place!
Amazing build! You inspire me to try new techniques and get better with every video.

This is giving me flashbacks to the old KP Mi-8 kit. Nice to see that there are better options out there now. Great work as always!

Přesně. Taky vždycky co mám rozestavěno vezmu a na čas dám do police. 😀
Podepisuji v plném rozsahu
These are my favorite types of builds to watch, I love how they instantly evoke a story in my imagination.
This really inspires me to complete a diorama I've planned for a while. An F9F Panther crash landed aboard a carrier, nose gear collapsed, nose cone barely attached, stuffed into the fabric barrier.
You're amazing Plasmo, truly inspiring job. I'm glad you're feeling better!
You should write some tiny letters of condolence for the crew's family, too. 😆
Glad to hear that you're feeling better! Being sick is never fun, especially if you can't work on models during your time off.
You had me at "I bend rotor blades into correct shape." Great video as always - thanks.

Outstanding build ! Thank You for sharing . Hope you have a great week.
Rivet work on an interior that can't be seen. Beautiful work. A true artist.

Ah thats where you have been, sorry to her that. Glad you are feeling better and back to making stunning models. Always a pleasure to watch.
It took you saying "Base gray plastic" to remind me that this is in actuality a model, very well done on the details!
Thank you , Plasmo .

Im happy for a new postapocalytpic diorama, the chernobyl with abandoned truck diorama is still one of my favourites from your collection
Salute to the pilots who managed to land an old soviet helicopter with a broken tail (even though they crashed it in a power transmission tower beforehand 😂). Can't wait for the diorama.
I'm glad you are feeling better.
Your work was outstandingly good as usual :)
Excellent work!!!!! Haven't ever seen the chipping and wear effect of sandpaper. The two-paint scheme on the body is outstanding!
HE RETURNS, ALL BOW FOR OUR GREAT MASTER!
I'm glad we got to partly experience what you hear while painting when you first started the Soviet Green camoflage. I've be curious for a long time how loud it was running the painter and air machine
Damn very good video! The song at 13:20 reminds me of the movie The Beast from 1988... Pretty fitting.
I’m always happy when a PLASMO video pops up on my feed!
Nice job, David. Glad you're back again.
Astronishing.... You are from another planet... Simply incredible !!!
I saw a MI-8 at the duxford air show last year. It and the hind stole the show even above the 16 spitfires!
Hej! Great video! I found that for bending proppelers, using a heat gun or even a hair dryer and quickly bending them to a desired damaged shape!
That’s beautiful work! A while back I did a diorama scene of a fictional US militia unit in the Red Dawn universe. I’ve wanted to do another that includes a downed Mi-8, but I had no idea how to pull off a good-looking crash scene.
Your eye for detail is on another level to us mere mortals
I have an old Tornado ECR model that I never finished...I'm gona take some inspiration for a crashed Tornado, thanks to you and amazing work btw :)
That is EPIC! The painting is amazing. Great job

Great way of recycling an old kit! Btw Vallejo has a good soviet interior cockpit colour 10 Interior Green
Agree to both! And Seconded on Vallejo. I use their brush version and its lovely
"What a nice model it was".
Now it's unique! Great job again!!!
Glad you’re feeling better, my friend
Glad you are feeling better! I like the paint work on this one, and how the tail boom is hanging on by a thread…or in this case control cables
у ми8 при неудачной посадке движки как правило входят в салон, а тут все целое, выглядит не как авария, а как порушенное вандалами.

Your hard work shows the dedication you put into this project. Keep up the amazing job.😂😂😂
This was a beautiful build. 1000 times better then any of my builds. Only 1 thing missing that would have made it perfect. The rear rotor drive shaft.
Unfortunately that jumps out for those who know.
Glad you're feeling better David, the model looks amazing and I can't wait to see the diorama build bc I have no doubt it will turn out excellent! 👍👍
That is an awesome concept, perfect for an old soviet heli--you have a great aesthetic sense!
Klobouk dolů
Úžasná práce
Ať se daří :-)
Amazing. You are truly the master of plastic models.
Kit bashing can be so awesome. I hope some day we'll get some crazy diorama with a MKA like Czech fantasy build.
Your work is always worth the wait. You are a master of your craft and an inspiration.
I hope you realize how exquisite and gorgeous this model is, not to mention the video in its entirety.
Always a thrill when Plasmo posts a new video!
Wow Rowdys works are mindblowing! 😲🤯
Wow, Well done!!! That turned out amazing.
Whoa! Another excellent piece of work! Please take care David! We will wait for you brother.
Bravo! 👏👏 Wow, that is something else! Amazing technique. Keep up the amazing work. It's inspiring.
Nothing like watching these videos at 4am love the content

Glad to see you back. Lovely work
Brilliant work on this one! Thanks for sharing!
капитальная работа. поражаюсь мастерству автора. молодец.
Espectacular....Impresionante David. Greetings from Cordoba Argentina.
Looks awesome. Love your work and creativity
Literally can't wait for the diorama. I absolutely loved your pripyat one. Your work tells a story like no book could. 👌
Шедевр!!! Фильм катастрофа! В детстве я видел ми-8 в такой окраске разбитый, но повреждения у него другие!
Absolutely love this build cant wait for that diorama
Stalker diorama incoming! Very nice. I plan something similar for some time now. A crashed Mi-24 as a Stingray from Call of Prypjat.

Highly inspirational modeling! And end result is amazing
Awesome finish on this! my only one criticism is that there would be propshaft in the fuselage to power the rear rotor!
Very glad to read that you are doing beter health wise. Thanks for yet another amazing and inspiring work of art
Excellent work! I love a good crashed vehicle as it tells a much more interesting story than one just sitting on the tarmac... unless that is also covered in grime. Like those abandoned Russian space shuttles!
That is one excellent looking model. Just make the front wheel a bit more dirty and it'll be perfect :)
