What’s better than crisp, tenter waffles in the morning?? I really can’t think of anything better than a stack of waffles with some fruit and REAL maple syrup. This recipe is just as easy as making pancakes and the payoff is HUGE! Don’t forget, you can make these ahead of time and heat them up in the toaster for a breakfast treat that everyone will love.

I am using my almond flour, avocado oil, eggs, baking soda and stevia ingredients. The waffles chunks taste delicious after I pulled it off my griddle. I sprayed the w/iron with oil. Any suggestions on how to get them unstuck?

I just made these this morning, they are amazing, I don't know why I even watch other recipe channels at all , some are wonderful but none compare to this one. I've been watching for years . I just bought my first house this past January ( something I never thought would happen) but here I am on a beautiful morning standing in my very own kitchen, looking out at my backyard and making homemade waffles for my kids . Thank you sir , for cooking and baking with me in dark times and in wonderfully light filled times .

Im from Belgium and we have some of the best waffles. Substitute part of the butter for sparkling water. It makes the texture much better

I used this recipe yesterday for the first time in our Griswold 1922 high base cast iron. My 14 year old son said " Best waffles EVER" Thank you for a great tasting recipe that I can make every Sunday now. Having the step by step video to watch helped a lot as well.
Finally!! I found the perfect waffle recipe!!! It's light & fluffy inside and crispy on the outside!! Just what I was looking for!!! Thank you John!!! (I've tried 7~8 other recipes which left me disappointed) So I was soo soo pleased to have found this!! It's even quick and easy!!! A KEEPER!!

As a tip, if you are making a big batch of waffles for the family, pop the already made ones in the oven at about 100C/200F. This will ensure they stay crisp and warm.
nonono, you eat as you serve. Keep the iron at the dinner table. That's the best way
I know this is a year ago, but you can just serve the already cooked waffles at the table and make some more while you make more

Those look amazing! Now I just need to make a giant waffle stack! (My actual favorite way is to go sweet and savory - half get vanilla paste, the other half gets cheddar, pepper, and green onion! It's the best brunch!)

These are amazing, i have had a belgian waffle maker for over 3 years and had honestly given up on making waffles they always came out soft and extremely chewy with poor flavour. After almost 2 and half years without using the iron i decided to give it one last go before getting rid of it. I found this recipe and decided to give it a try, when i bit took the first bite i was in shock. Such a simple recipe with amazing results. I made sure the iron was piping hot and allowed it to heat up in between waffles, i only opened the steam was gone completely and transferred it to my oven which i had on low heat and they remsined so crispy and light and fluffy inside. Thank you.
I just made this recipe tonight for my friend, who says she doesn't like waffles that much, and myself who does. We both loved it. Thank you. Awesome flavor. You don't even need syrup. (But, why wouldn't you?) A little butter was fantastic on our test sample.

In addition to the tips posted here, I would double this recipe if you wanted to make a good amount to eat and then freeze. Just made this for me and my bf (only us - no kids) and there’s only two left to freeze. He ate 2 1/2 and I ate 1 1/2. Also, probably would’ve made less if they actually filled out the Belgian waffle pan.
For the best crisp waffles always add a couple of tablespoons of cornstarch. No more limp waffles
