    Baklava recipe without phyllo
    Water glass size: 200 ml
    Ingredients:
    100 g soft butter at room temperature
    1 water glass olive oil
    1 water glass milk (at room temperature)
    2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
    1 packet baking powder (1.5 teaspoons)
    3-3.5 water glass einkorn flour
    1 water glass ground walnuts or hazelnuts
    For the sherbet:
    3.5 water glass water
    3.5 water glass granulated sugar (you can use brown sugar)
    A thin slice lemon
    Preparation:
    First, start by putting the sherbet on the stove.
    To do this, put water, sugar and a slice of lemon in the pot.
    After it starts to boil (pot lid open), boil it over medium heat for 15-16 minutes.
    Then let the sherbet cool.
    Important NOTE: The sherbet will be cold! The dessert will be hot after coming out of the oven!
    For the dough, mix all the ingredients except flour and walnuts.
    First, add 2.5 water glass einkorn flour and knead with your hand.
    Gradually add the remaining flour.
    Get a soft dough like in the video.
    The texture of the flour you use may be different. Therefore, it is important to be controlled.
    Add the last ground walnuts and knead for another 1-2 minutes.
    Use a large rectangular baking dish or similar measuring oven tray.
    Grease the tray well with butter.
    Put the dough and spread it evenly all over the tray.
    Bake in a preheated oven at 180 C (356 F) until golden brown.
    If you undercook it, the outside will not be crispy. It can be also soft inside. Therefore, cook it well without burning it.
    My oven cooked it in about 1 hour.
    Pour the cold sherbet evenly over the hot dessert coming out of the oven.
    After waiting 2-3 hours, you can serve it after making sherbet.
    It becomes much more delicious after a day; you can be sure.
