Thoughtful, adult drama with teh sublime Patrica Neal.
Why can't whoever provides the wonderful old movies think about & provide good sound volume. So many old movies are not loud enough to hear the complete dialogue. I'm considering not to bother w/ the movies that I love since a great many lack volume .
Can't you turn the volume up...or are you hard if hearing..
Have u ever thought, may back then they was no good sound quality. Or the world of technology has not fully evolved in 60s and 70s

Good movie.. Robbie so evil her and Eric both evil
How eerily prophetic of Patrica O'Neal's real life. Her husband stood by her when she had a stroke and ended up having a long affair with someone that she'd worked with and trusted. He finally left her for that woman. Also, in this movie it seemed as if she was reborn as she walked out into the sunshine seeing it shining bright. And in real life Patrica was supposedly reborn when she became a Catholic (if those that worship others instead of Christ alone can be reborn). A very strange and sad movie if one knows Miss O'Neal's history. Bizarre.
It's Neal; not O'Neal. She was not of Irish descent. And thanks ever so for bending low from your throne of heavenly wisdom and humility to correct other Christians for lacking your perfect Christian beliefs and insight. The world's Catholics have been waiting for your pearls for centuries. Thomas Aquinas be damned, of course.
