I got an Xbox Series X 5 days ago and the HDMI port went bad on it in just 3 days. I tried multiple HDMI cables, multiple TV's, monitor & tried to boot it into safe made for a factory reset as well as booting it into low res mode and none of these were successful at resolving the issue. Just sent mine in for a full refund and I'm getting another. I currently was running it on a ASUS VG27AQ which allowed me to run it at 1440p 120hz/fps and my TV's in my house all run 4k at 60hz only which is fine for a backup. I pray my 2nd one will be better otherwise I'm going with the PS5 instead.

Hulk did you dirty
why not use a heat gun for the soldering removal?
To heat the solder at the same time to remove the port.
About time they just done a seperate board on a ribon cable for easy replacement
That would be awesome 😎
