I have the 24 GT premium performance pack with manual trans. I'm having issues at 1500 miles with going WOT and the car hits a rev limiter around 5500 - 6000 rpm in first or second gear in drag mode with advanced trac off. If I roll into it the car can go to 7200-7400 before a limiter. Have u had or heard of these issues before? It's annoying the F out of me. Thanks bro, love the channel

No lights or codes. Just bounces off a rev limiter alot earlier than the redline. If I go easy and ramp up the rpms I can hit above 7k but if I mash the pedal it won't make it to redline. I've heard the cars do weird shit until the computer works their kinks out but all the youtube videos I've seen the cars never do this. I need to take it to some backroads and do some digs and go thru the gears a bunch of times and see if it stops or keeps doing it. I'm always omw home getting on a highway and have 1 shot at opening it up. Wish me luck, sorry again about your tragic loss brother your family is in my prayers 🙏

Bro it freaked me out when I hit that limiter in my dark horse lol. I just try to shift a little below the limiter and the car still rips! The no lift shift is legit as well!
My car felt weird when I did the no lift shift I am gonna try it again maybe I need to try another mode felt like it killed power on me

I run my 21 GT PP with a MT-82 and a VMP ODIN I put a 175 miles on it per week. I drove it from New Smyrna Beach, Florida to Tucson, Arizona in 4 days 2053 miles. Justin Starkey can vouch for that don't be afraid of positive displacement supercharger with a manual it's fun especially in a 4th gear roll on.

I am also hearing in a lot of vid's that guy's who just bought 24 GT's with manuals experience Power cut once they go over 7500RPM.. Like they have to be careful not to go over 7300/7400 RPM or they will get power cut?? Is that really a thing?? If so that is terrible.. Like my 17 Red's at 6800 to 7000 but I go to 7300 to 7500 at times without issue. But I don't do that a lot. There's been a few where by accident I hit 7400/7500 rpm. The guy who had my GT before me must have had it tuned because I have zero power cut. And I bought my Gen 2 2017 with 8,909 miles on it, thats it. IDK.. ??

Have you tried the Steeda clutch assist spring? I've been using it and the feel is pretty good. There's two pretty new Camaro's in my neighborhood and I laugh and say my Dark Horse is 1/3rd Camaro.
Edit: Really cool to see them adding new dash options. I am using the SVT one.

I just sold my S550 PP1 for a Cayman. I like the Cayman way more. But the Dark Horse's handling has to be way better than my S550.

Make a custom mode with exhaust opened, and then you can use your steering wheel buttons to activate the mode quicker than the screen.

Have you tried the favorite button? One option for the favorite button is to open up the exhaust valves. It's on the strip of buttons right of the start button. With the favorite button selected to track exhaust, I think it opens up the exhaust valves faster than waiting for the system to boot up.

Yeah remember I bought my 17 Gen 2 around the same time probably a month later. I found a performance pack manual with 8,909 miles on it like a month after he bought his dark horse.. I've had my GT about 8 months now and I love it.. The best car you can get for the money right now is an S550 as far as bang for buck.. Don't get me wrong I like the 24's but there's not a lot of difference between the S550's and S650's.. I guess it's a matter of taste.. I went after an S550 because I wanted less tech and honestly I can't justify spending over 50K on any car.. Oh and for the record I got my GT PP1 with 8,909 for 33K tax, registration, and tags out the door.. Who ever had it before me must have kept it in a garage and barely drove it, because the car still smells brand new off the line..

It should work In any mode. Never lift off the gas just stab the clutch and shift while keeping it pinned to the floor.

My 24 GT has the same issue with loading the exhaust option before starting the car. Sometimes I need to switch to quiet mode if my son is sleeping and I have to wait about a minute before the my mustang screen will pop up

I have the twin to your car minus the recaros and the headers. I haven’t noticed much screen lag but being able to get the exhaust into track mode fast and easily is why I set my favourite button to enable track exhaust. Not sure what you use yours for but that’s one option to avoid the longer loading times for the my mustang page
Yeah I gotta set that button up I remembered that the other day that’s the only thing that lags or take a long time to load is the mustang screen everything else is perfect

i just got my dark horse a couple weeks ago and i don't know how people hate on it. I've taken it to the track and its planted it drives amazing, only thing i dont like is the black plastic under the headlights.

I think that car has the “no lift shift” feature where you can just keep it floored, you prob are feeling it cut ignition/power for a sec as its preparing for you to shift
Yeah it didn’t feel like it was giving me all the power when I was trying to power shift it just didn’t feel right to me feels faster when I lift off just a little

Yeah I have used the no lift shift it don’t feel right and no I haven’t tried launching it yet

Dude just doesn't get that I have drove and forgot about more cars and Trucks with trailers' than he could ever imagine... We used to power shift and not even use the clutch back in the day!! But honestly now that I am older I don't rag on my cars like that to often.. But anyway dude with paddle shifter's "who has never really shifted a gear in his life" was trying to tell me, he was a better driver at the age of 22.. Shake my fuc'ing head.. Fuc'er's balls haven't even dropped yet and he's going to tell me how to drive.. Now that is funny.......

My first car in 1991 was a 1976 F250 4x4 lifted 4"s and 33's it had the granny gear.. I would have to take off in second gear. We knew how to back up Truck's with like 24 foot trailer's at 15/16 years old.. Back in the late 80's early 90's with manual's were what we had auto's were so terrible back then. We had to know how to shift our butts off back then lol..
