Seriously, that would HAVE to be the saltiest moments of Mario Party I’ve ever seen. Michale’s been sucking off the Devil because that luck was beyond paranormal.
The fact that the game pretty much did nothing for him in the beginning and then flipped the biggest switch in that moment is insane. Because that was just the beginning...his luck did not stop from that moment on, from literally no Miracle space involving him again despite their many efforts to try, DK giving him a star right after Meg was denied one the previous turn on the exact same space, and star spawns putting the star right next to him right after someone sniped a star on his path either with a shroom or Flutter. Once the game confirmed Michael Jones's identity, its decision was made and its verdict inevitable.
Michael is obviously the best player. Best at minigames, consistently makes better decisions but holy shit the game really does love him. The amount of stars that just landed directly in front of him even after he got all of Lindsey's stars was absurd.

Or will MP just throw stars, coins, and victories in seemly tied minigames to Michael? I'm guessing an unholy "all of the above"

2:24:27 fungi are actually more closely related to animals like us than they are to plants. The organisms that became plants split off from another group of organisms, and the second group later diversified into fungi and animals.
@@edisontrent618 you are incorrect on both counts. Relatedness can be looked at as genetic similarity, ie you share ~50% genetic identity with each of your parents, and ~25% identity with each grandparent. Because fungi diverged from the organisms that evolved into animals (which 100% includes humans, we are intelligent animals but still classified as animals) more recently than plants did, fungi share more genetic similarity with us than with plants, and are therefore more closely related to animals.
@@florrcorr5607 Except this is then one from 2 years ago, they just need to set an annual date for this that takes precedence over other things, because trying to find a spot in schedule to film this must be hell if you wait until half way through the year before you start trying.
Meg: "You don't steal from us, you steal from him!" ... and that would have just put Lindsay further behind, since they'd then be at 1 star instead of 2 after the trade.
The argument that Meg is making there (and that she always makes in these videos) isn't that Lindsay would be better off, it's that Meg would be closer to beating Michael. Meg always stands for one of them beating Michael and the rest of them doing whatever they can to keep them in the best position possible
@@christinapollard2727 Still doesn't make sense. Had Lindsay previously stolen from anyone different, they would still have 8 stars and Michael would end up with the same. It makes sense to say in general, but at that time her complaint is just entirely wrong.
@@KuroroSama42 Congratulations on not knowing basic subtraction and number comparisons. Let me guide you through it. Note for people scrolling through the comments, MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD! The result of the Miracle swap was: Michael has 8 stars, Lindsey has 2 stars, Meg has 5 stars and Gavin has 4 stars. The first place amount of stars, 8, minus the second place amount of stars, 5, is a 3 star difference to overcome, just to tie, 4 to win/have Michael not win. Now, in an Alternate Universe where Lindsey had stolen a star from Gavin, the result of the star swap would have been Michael still at 8 stars and Lindsey still at 2, BUT Gavin would have had 3 and Meg would have had 6. This would mean that Meg only needs 2 stars to tie and only 3 for Michael to not win/tie. Now, "only one star" might not seem like much, but in a game where one star changes Michael from losing or tying or winning, it makes a big difference.
2:35:00 The game decided that it got tired of playing coy and gave us the result we all knew was coming from the moment we read the title.

2:24:27 fungi are actually more closely related to animals like us than they are to plants. The organisms that became plants split off from another group of organisms, and the second group later diversified into fungi and animals.
I knew there would be someone. I'm glad there was.
Fungi, plants and animals (which doesn't include humans) are all equally related.

Lol. Imagine still believing in the theory of evolution.

I know this is a year late but i love when Michael wins these because the other three constantly throw when they could easily make sure he doesnt win.
Lindsay was the definition of fell from grace, and it hurt to watch
Please make this just a regular annual event. I watch these over the course of a couple days and it's great.
Pretty sure they are, since it's a extra-life goal every year
@@florrcorr5607 Except this is then one from 2 years ago, they just need to set an annual date for this that takes precedence over other things, because trying to find a spot in schedule to film this must be hell if you wait until half way through the year before you start trying.
I remember when we thought Fuel was the longest a video would ever be.
was fuel or uno longer....forgot
@@venci16 4. Fuel, 3. Uno, 2. The last 50-turn, 1. THIS
59:39 Gavin immediately has flashbacks to Michael March. Me too, Gavin. Me too.
Michael The Mario Party Villain is not someone I thought I needed in my life.
2:40:10 "I'm a dinosaur of the people" made me cackle
Meg: "You don't steal from us, you steal from him!"
... and that would have just put Lindsay further behind, since they'd then be at 1 star instead of 2 after the trade.
