I think the key to seeing through Sadhgurus and other such people, is to ask them to DEFINE the terms they use. They are good at stringing words together and giving vague analogy, but when ask to create clear definitions they will never come through. They rely onthe fact that they can lecture uninterrupted and present one statement after another as fact.

I think being athiest is the best way to become religious. Not believing on just what other says but believing in what is truth and knowing what is the fact. I wish the whole world could be atheist someday.

As I see it....Sadhguru did not came in as a person as a supporter and promoter of any religion or belief system all he was saying was follow a method and see it's results on yourself and for every other question that you have you should not believe in anything neither disbelieve it because in both cases that you are assuming something that you do not know and this is not the right way to truth.

This debate is not connecting each other . Sadhguru is talking about different characteristics of mind while aktharji is qouting it just as mind. Coming to science, those who put spirituality and science as antonyms, they often dont realise that they are talking about 'modern science'. Science can evolve and many spiritual cultures moved forward by using scientific approach rather than religion but definitely not evidence and proof based. Thats modern science. If they stick only with modern science, then i would say people started using science only after industrial revolution which is not true.

The problems of mind like depression, loss of loved ones , grave injustice or accidents, it takes a lot to get over such mental crisis , just like medicines are coated with sugar , a reasonably learned person can use faith knowingly to calm his mind . Faith with uneducated , unlogical , weak mind can be very dangerous

Well agreed with almost everything u said except your definition of Faith in 11:50. Imagine one of your closest family member (god forbid) suddenly diagnosed with a serious life threatning desease and if you believe somehow he or she will recover even though the medical personnel told clearly that there is no chance, what will you call it (faith or stupidity) ? There is nothing wrong to have faith and it will be extremely naive to generalize or normalize faith with stupidity, Yes stupidity is a sub-set of faith, but faith is NOT stupidity (it's inherent human nature) and one of primary reasons for our superior evolution!
He says all this to sound cool. Reality is that it is not his statements. These all things are written in Upnishads but there it is not about practical life but reality at philosophical level. Those scriptures are all based on logic but people like Sadguru just use the complexity for the sake of confusing people for their own benefits.

I do think there's something beyond the mind and senses but I don't think one can arrive there by ignoring or negating the mind and senses. In fact, the mind and senses are the doorways. The more we become aware of our mind and senses the closer we arrive.

Actually I don't know what to follow , whom to follow . I am literally very confused . I do like to follow my religious way , but there are too many dhongis that I cannot trust anyone to give me correct answers and I don't know how can I find the actual answers to my question. Then when I try to understand atheist I find them right in most cases , but still i am not convinced by them that they are completely right. After all that I concluded everything and finally I decided to follow a common path where I will follow those principals from religion which I think is correct and will follow those principals of atheism which I think is correct. And I don't know if I am doing right or wrong ,if someone has the solution pls enlight me
