This episode right here shows precisely all that is wrong with the direction we are heading in. This is one of the reasons why I’m, sadly, getting closer to stopping watching KF (I know, nobody cares. I don’t say it for attention). First, it was the clear nervousness of Tim in expressing his desire for a Wanda cosplay. He seemed so worried he would say something wrong, and couldn’t even express himself, all due to the fear of offending someone (being respectful is one thing. Living in fear of cancel culture is another). Then, the whole Gina thing. Not only has the industry (specifically, liberal hollywood) shown its hypocrisy in her firing (ignoring how for 4 years, many in the left compared Trump and republicans to Nazis, but the moment a conservative does it, she’s a terrible person and her career should be over. Also, Pedro Pascal has shared similar posts, comparing Trump to Hitler and the Nazis, but nobody seems to care), but how quick Tim (haven’t gotten to the end of the episode, yet, to see everyone else’s response) moved from respecting certain people, to basically cancelling them from his life, just because they have a view he doesn’t agree with. This is going too far, and I hate being part of a community I feel I can’t openly express myself in, for fear of being jumped on.
