You have a GPU Problem
Solution is Reflow the GPU Chip
Fix it without temperature gauge, only use solder lead to monitor the temperature
you can use Hot air rework station or any heat gun.
Some hair blower can be, as long as is can melt a soldering lead.
Model of the laptop is HP DV6000, also same with any laptop brands

Facing same issue. Technician said it can't be repaired.
But u had a process. Thanx. But seems not possible for me, expertise needed.
No matter what you do updates will get installed automatically and you will have the same issue again. Solution is if you have one graphic card that is bad replace it or if you have Intel and AMD both then you can either replace Amd or remove the Amd graphics coil from the motherboard.

reflowing gpu is only temporary fix. Permanent fix is to disable gpu entirely

This is only temporary fix. After couple of months it will fail again.
Did it twice to same laptop, which is now not working for same problem.. They should mount gpu the same way as cpu.

With this fault will it give external vga out display? My dell laptop is black screen but gives external display, the lcd and lcd cable are definitely working
no. if the GPU is the issue. there will be no VGA external output

It's the same with my laptop. It only shows at vga output. It's possible that my lcd is faulty? It also beep 8 times at start up.

Ang objective po nito matunaw po ung soldering lead kasama ng flux dun sa ibabaw ng GPU? Naupuan po kasi ung laptop tpos wala na display check ko na din pati basic troubleshoot wala pa din display
Hi sir, may tanong lng po sana mapansin nyo. My brother tried the reflowing method on my laptop (had put a flux on the die as well as the soldering lead) but during the heating process..the flux spills out(like overflowed or dripping atop of the die) and we still continue the heating process..after a while we noticed that the green cover(IDK if it's called a substrate or something) just bloated like formed small bubbles after doing this method...my question is, is the chip can still work if the substrate/green cover is bloated? hi bro, mi sister has an msi with gtx 1060 6gb and I have spent like a year and a half trying to install nvidia drivers. but nothing seems to work. I also try taking it to third party repair store, but never fixed. the integrated intel works just fine, do you think maybe nvidia is broken or need reflow process? There is a blue vertical line on one side of the screen.

same model po nandito sakin.. auto shutdown po pag startup sa windows... pero pag wala ang Hard disk.. di naman mag sa shutdown

I wanted to do it buy people are saying its risky uh can kill ur board i tired asking for technicians to solve my problem they said uh have to remove the card it cant be solved n when i said them to try reflow they said its risky i asked then how will uh remove the charge is is not risky he did not said anything can someone pleAse help meh

No.. it is not permanent solution.. it's works 6 to 7 months only... I have done two time result is same after 6 months no pictures shown at all.
Sir, yung sa akin po hp elitebook 8460p. Garbage display muna siya bago nag blackout. Wala na din ilaw lcd nya ngayon. May display sa external pero kapag mag install na ako driver nya mag blue screen tapos reboot. Black din kasi lcd nya sabi ng tech na pinagtanungan ko lcd daw problem? Totoo po ba?

Depends on the hair dryer you are using. Some hair dryer has a high heat settings.. as long as it can melt the soldering lead. Then you can use it

This is a temporary solution.Heating will make it work for some days and you will have the same problem again. For permanent solution is if you have one graphic card that is bad replace it or if you have Intel HD graphics and AMD both then you can either replace Amd or remove the Amd graphics coil from the motherboard.
kaya pa ba i fix ang gpu?..pag iniinstall ko kc drivers ng gpu nagblack screen after 5 mins..pag processor built in video card ok.nmn xa..pero pag may drivers na ng gpu black screen na..pahelp nmn if kaya pa ifix

Did your laptop got overheated? If not it could be Bios issue. Because you adjusted the voltage. The bios needs to be reset or reprogram first.. if same problem occur. Then the GPU chip needs to be reflowed.. and you can still play games fine
@@ChrisRandomTech it got heated...not overheated..i thought at first that its mihht be a bios problem..then i gave it to repair shop they told me after troubleshooting...

Ah yes. Your laptop needs to be reflowed. Yes all laptops can be reflowed because they all have the same lead solder balls underneath the GPU chip

The hdmi is conected to the gpu, I'm sure and doesn't detect the display of the laptop, that's all

I have same issue like that, but when i try to change the lcd module ,. In this case i font know what name it is..( maybe LCD converter?) Then the problem gone

@@pranaypadhen6682 yes the problem here is caused by overheating. once the GPU or the Video Chip overheats. the solder under the chip melts. so in that case the connection to the board and to the GPU is now separated. so the solution here is you need to reheat again the Chip like the one i do in this video. so the solder lead will melt again to again connection to the chip and the motherboard. hope it helps

New subscriber po, nag kkaroon po kasi ng randomblackscreen yung amd gpu ng laptop ,nangyari lang po nung dinelete ko yung buong files gamit mismo yung app na pang amd, then pag install kopo ng mga laro nag bablackscreen na at may sounds lang, ano po kayang problem? (Nagagamit kopadin po yung laptop dahil sa intel na chip) pero sa amd nah loloko napo
