  • OBSCURIST TOURIST 083 - Lowell is a populated place situated in Cochise County, Arizona. It was incorporated into Bisbee in the early 1900s. It was a thriving mining town in the early 1900s, but the very thing that helped to make Lowell viable was also the very thing that led to the town’s demise. Today, many of the Bisbee townsfolk have kept the spirit of Lowell alive by making it a living museum and peek back into the 1940s-70s.
The town has an estimated elevation of 5,075 feet.
Come along as I explore this lovely throwback that sits about an hour north of the Mexican border.

Thanks so much for watching Stan! Lowell and Bisbee as a whole are two of my favorite places in America - and that's saying a lot because I absolutely LOVE Arizona. Where do you live in Arizona?!?! I'm so jealous that you live there - while I'm stuck up in chilly Canada. haha. Stay safe!!!

This video should have way more views! I literally just scoured the Internet trying to figure out what happened to this town. Everyone’s videos just listed it as an abandoned town that no one knows what happened to 🙄 this is a really cool story, more people should hear about it.

Thanks so much for the kind words! I notice there is a serious lack of historical information about these places on RUclips, so I really try to fill in the gaps. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching! 🤗❤️
