I got this Sketchbox. I loved everything except the Copic paper. I was not impressed with it at all. You would think a marker company could come up with a decent smooth paper that does not bleed through.
I love the little intros with shots of plants 💚 also, I was wondering- do you know a good gouache for beginners? I was hoping to ask for gouache for Christmas and I want to know what brand I should ask for :)
I recently got the Arteza gouache, i own winsor and newton gouache as well, and i can recommend the arteza for beginners. You get good quality for a reasonable price. Of course winsor and newton is higher quality but the arteza is great to start off with

If you can read this JelArts, how do you stay motivated drawing? I've been trying to come up with a character or background but I got nothing. It would be really helpful if you respond to this comment.
I'm obviously not Jelarts, but I do draw a lot of character designs. So let me offer some tips based on my own process. 1. Purpose. What purpose will the character serve? An online avatar? Akin to a fursona that the furry fandom comes up with to represent themselves. Or will it be a character for a story? Perhaps just a character just to motivate your art? Ask yourself who they are and what they do. 2. Species. Human, elf, animalistic? The possibilities are endless. However refer back to purpose and choose something you feel.suits that purpose. 3. Research. Color theory and character designs. Look to other artists for inspiration. (But don't copy or steal). 4. Sketch and have fun. I start with exploring faces and hair and gradually expand to body.type and costume. There are a lot of resources on RUclips, but.no amount of video watching will get you a character design if you don't just jump into it.
I love the bats and the goldfish. 😊 I keep tropical fish as my 'second hobby' too! . What size is your aquarium? If you're just cycling it and haven't added any fish yet, I can recommend Hengel's rasbora as they're absolutely beautiful and really hardy.😊 I don't know why but I assumed the copic paper wouldn't bleed through, so I'm glad I didn't buy any now. I got some paper by Canson called 'The Wall' in a ScrawlrBox and I was seriously impressed by that as you can use both sides. 😊
This is WAY random but a few mins ago i was on amazon and looking at alcohol markers and literally thinking to myself 'hm jelarts hasnt made any videos using markers in a while!' .... how??????
If you look closer the copic marker dosent bleed trough on the copic papper but the other brands do. But yeah I also find marker papper funny it never seem to quite do what its there to do.
No markers are not good I want to say that make a video on water brush pen breaf I have that brushes but I am not very goood at it can you help your young subscriber

Arteza is what most people say is best.

Reeves gouache is about $10 for 12 tubes

It's just 10 gallons so we're gonna make it mainly a plant & shrimp tank! Someday we want a bigger one, maybe 50-70 gallons.

I never tried markers but using pen and Mechanical pen, but that marker is interesting to me.
